Getting stabbed…hurt. Caleb had managed to get himself home and was in the bathroom, holding a washcloth to both of the wounds and sighing heavily as they slowly began to get stained red. The one in his hip was worse than his arm, and he was favoring it, watching dispassionately as it seemed to refuse to stop bleeding.
He didn’t want to go to the hospital, didn’t want to deal with all of the drama that would cause. He could just...superglue it closed, right? That was a thing, wasn’t it?
Sighing, he hobbled over to his bedroom door and opened it. “Oi, Xi, you home? Do you happen to have any superglue? Or...any kind of glue, I guess...but superglue would be best? It would...be pretty helpful right about now.”
His mind flashed back to the last time he had been hurt. Xi hadn’t even noticed. Caleb looked down at the scar still quite visible on his arm from the snake's fangs and sighed softly. Honestly, he was counting on that obliviousness now, and...regretting it.
It was nice to be fussed over, at least a little.
“...If you’re not home, if someone is...superglue, please.”

He'd heard Caleb come home, calling out to the other, but he'd guessed the other was busy as he hadn't responded. That didn't mean he wasn't wondering when he'd see or hear the other next, as he was fairly certain Caleb wasn't going to be going to bed yet...though maybe he was wrong.
So when he heard the others voice he got up, he'd been in his room gaming, and hurried towards the others room on socked feet. "Caleb?" Calling out curiously as he spied the other. He didn't look good. "Super glue...I think I have some. Why?" Not to the other yet he had to dodge his cat, who seemed to want his attention, in order to reach the other finally. "I think it's in the kitchen." In a draw so everyone could find it easily. He kept a draw in the kitchen filled with little things like that, as well as a phone book and menus.
"You're hurt....Caleb?" He knew the other was hurt, he could see that, but he was questioning the how and how bad. "You need to sit...and I need to see how bad it is." He needed to help the other.

Oh thank goodness. Xi was here...but he had noticed the blood, that was...kind of annoying. “Yeah. Some crazy guy with a knife that decided I looked like a nice target. Sliced my arm a bit, but stabbed my leg something awful. I don’t think it’s bad enough to go to the hospital, some super glue to hold the wound together should work fine. Just need to stop the bleeding.”
Luckily, the stab was just straight down...nothing too jagged or gnarly. It was deep though, and Caleb didn’t like that but...whatever.
Inwardly, he snarled. He would have so much fun wiping all traces of life from that b*****d's eyes. If it was the last thing he did. Now there were two people firmly at the top of his s**t list hit list. Scar face and the black haired Mirror senshi that he had been so close to killing before.
With a sigh, he looked at Xi-Wang and gave an almost amused grin, going and sitting down. “...Serioulsy, no need to worry. Just need glue.”

"W-we can try...if we can stop the bleeding. But shouldn't you try a hospital? I mean...if it's this deep." Motioning to all the blood he could see, and he was sure he wasn't seeing it all. That couldn't be good. Even if they did go, which he doubted Caleb would allow, the blood needed to be stopped - it was too much. It wouldn't be good if it continued.
"You know I worry." He always worried, even when powered up he worried. It was just who he was, though it used to be worse - a lot worse. "I can make some food also...blood loss, even when donating blood, they suggest food." Thankfully he'd found that Omaha steak website and had been ordering food from there and most of it took some time to make but it was already prepared food. It would be easy enough...and in the meantime he could patch the other up and get him something to drink.
"Let's get the bleeding to stop, you can try that, while I find the super glue. Once I find it I'll help with the bleeding." Already he was moving to find a glass and get some juice for the other. "You should drink also."

Caleb grinned and waved a hand, shaking his head. “Don’t worry, Xi, seriously. I’m okay. Food does sound good though, if you want to cook for me, you know that I’ll never say no.” He fluttered his eyelashes playfully. “My hero. Look, if the superglue doesn’t work, I’ll go to the hospital after eating, and yeah, I’ll drink too. I know you don’t mean alcohol, but I really wouldn’t be opposed to it tonight, if you’re offering.”
He kept his voice playful, but he was a little worried. Getting stabbed was never on anyone’s list of things to do in an evening but…
Getting up, Caleb snagged a larger towel from the cabinet in his bedroom and sat back on the bed, pressing hard against the wound. “If you wanted to play nurse though, I wouldn’t mind that either. Glue me up, Doc. Get your first aid kit and make me all better, yeah?”

"Why don't we move to the kitchen - brighter lights." Much brighter and easier to see, safer he figured. "I'll grab some of the food I ordered from Omaha Steaks?" He offered, thinking of all the boxes of food he'd had delivered. It was enough that he'd also, ahead of the food delivery, gotten a separate freezer for the house. It was hard finding a place to put it, at least one that wasn't awkward as hell, but he'd found a place for the freezer chest he'd gotten. It was only two days later that it was filled with food he'd ordered online....he had gotten a bit carried away.
"I'll surprise you with something." Since he didn't wanna take his attention away from cleaning the other up in order to cook, so he'd just settle for food in the oven and not having to prepare a meal himself.
"I'll grab the glue once we get into the kitchen and I'll clean you up and glue you together." Smiling a bit, a hint of playful teasing in his voice. He had to try and be a little less worried - right? it wasn't that bad...Caleb wasn't on the floor bleeding out. It wasn't like he'd not been hurt himself in the past.

“The kitchen sounds good. And...yeah. Steaks sound really good.” Caleb let out a shaking breath and stood up, hobbling out to the kitchen, keeping the towel pressed firmly against the wound in his leg and grunting as he sank into one of the chairs. “Ah. Kitchen here we are.”
Not nearly as comfortable as his bed but. That’s fine. There was more light here. Xi Wang was right about that at least.
Carefully, he propped his injured leg up on another chair and leaned back. “Take care of me, Xi Xi.” His voice grew almost teasing and he tried to put on his best pouting expression. “...It does hurt. I know I’m being all brave and stuff but. It hurts a lot. I’m not...really a fan of being stabbed. Don’t ever do it, okay? I don’t want you to have to deal with s**t like this…”

At least with Caleb now in the kitchen he could watch him and make food, that way the other would eat and not bleed out on him. Having helped Caleb into the kitchen, and into the chair, he hurried to find the super glue he knew they had in a draw. It wasn't that they had it laying about for this purpose, of course not, but they had it for what it's actual purpose was - repairs.
When he did find it he headed back towards the other, tube in hand. "I'll have to be careful with this." And not glue his hand, or fingers, to the other. He also had to make sure it was a clean meeting of flesh from one side to the other. This was something he was nervous about but he also couldn't let his nerves get to him where he did mess up.
"I don't intend to ever get stabbed...but knowing this city." He shrugged a bit as he set to uncovering and cleaning the injury so he could try and get to sealing it closed. He also knew he'd been hurt plenty of times in this city, all while powered up, but he couldn't tell this all to Caleb. He didn't want to worry him. This was why they hadn't worked out and why he was happy where he was now in life. It was why they were good friends, house mates as well. It worked like this.

Caleb chuckled and brushed his hair back from his face. He really could use a haircut...one of these days he’d go and get one but. “Knowing this city getting stabbed is literally the least of anyone’s worries.” He hadn’t been expecting Xi-Wang to actually help him deal with the injury, but...he didn’t really mind. It was nice to be fussed over sometimes.
“I'm glad you were home. And I’m glad we had superglue. And food. I’m starving.”
Pursing his lips, Caleb reached out and fluffed up the male’s hair, chuckling softly. “It might be the blood loss but. I’m a little sleepy. And your hair is extra fluffy today. I couldn’t resist.” He would sleep after dinner...and start plotting some revenge in the morning.
Provided his leg didn’t fall off, of course.

"I'm not sure...I'd say it's up for debate. The city is rather dangerous though." It was why he wasn't so fond of his sister living here now. But he wouldn't deny her either, he liked having her around. He knew if anything happened he'd have to handle it, otherwise their father might turn up and cause a scene. Plus his father wouldn't accept him not protecting his sister or getting revenge for anything which may happen to her.
"My sister decided I needed to try some new hair products." Shrugging, he hadn't cared really what he used on his hair, not to say he bought some cheap stuff from the grocery store. He just knew whatever his sister used was good...and likely expensive. "Good won't take long and then you can get to bed and rest after you eat." That would be good for the other, sleeping helped a person heal.
Once he'd finished cleaning Caleb up and gluing him back together Xi-Wang went to put the superglue away. With it tucked back into the draw he made for the freezer chest. "So steak then...anything on the side? I have a few potatoe options...."

“Well, tell your sister that I approve of them and if you could give me a list of what they are, that would be great. I want my hair to look this good.”
Caleb relaxed when it was all over with, and slumped back against the chair, looking thoughtful, if not a little leased. “Thank you. I’m glad that you were here to help patch me up. It would have been a lot harder alone...but yeah. I like potatoes, and steak. Make for me what you will. I’m all yours for the night and I won’t even put up a fuss.”
Well. Much of one. Maybe.
He could always tease.
Quietly, he rested his head on the table and just watched Xi-Wang. “Thank you, for everything, you know. I owe you my sanity, I think.”

"I'll ask her but you could as well." He added with a smile. Having his younger sister around was nice - it was good for them both. Even though she was only his half sister he never found himself thinking of her like that...that she only shared half of his genetics and that they had some family in common but some not in common. Maybe it was the lack of knowing her family and his, shared and not shared, that kept him from thinking like that. That he hadn't grown up with his family. Whatever the reason though he would never call her a half sister or think of her as such. He'd always say he had a little sister.
"You might owe me for your sanity but I won't ever call it in." Shrugging a bit as he worked on preparing food for them both, since he was hungry as well at this point. "I'm just glad to have a friend here and to be able to help you." He felt bad for the way Caleb had been when they'd made contact after so long. He couldn't help it...the guilt of what if. What if was that one thing, that one question, which he felt could lead right down a never ending rabbit hole...and not one he wanted to go down - not one anyone should go down.
"I'm glad I was home but I think anyone would have helped you. I just hope you'd have asked someone else for help."

Caleb laughed and shook his head, smirking slightly at Xi Wang. “Same. And...I’m not sure if I would have asked anyone, since obviously you’re the one who’s special.” He closed his eyes, head still resting on the table. Hm...it might not be so hard to just...go to sleep here. Might be nice too.
“We should just take it easy after it though. I’m. Tired. Blood loss will do that, I guess.”
He dragged himself up and slid off the chair, walking towards the couch in the living room. “I’m going to lay down, but let me know when dinner’s ready, okay? I’ll get back up then.”
Closing his eyes again, he chuckled and felt himself slipping into sleep. Maybe he wouldn’t be great company but…
Well. He was injured.
