Internet Famous - Eilonwy is the proud owner of a reasonably well-rated YouTube channel. Not to mention Facebook, Instragram, Snapchat, Twitter and even a few Tumblr blogs. She loves the attention (the monetizing part is pretty great too!) and it's a great way to push the brand she's working so hard to build. It's not uncommon to see her posting selfies, pics of her cars or videos detailing the latest beauty trend or footage of her winning a Best of Con award. Social media is a fabulous invention and Eilonwy has every intention of becoming it's eventual Queen.
Cosplay Queen - Hey, you know what Eilonwy loves even more than the internet? But not as much as her cars? Cosplay. She's known how to sew since she was a wee tadpole and she's been cosplaying since she was 12. Granted, there wasn't a lot of opportunity for it in Wales, but once her family moved across the pond, O-HOHOHOHO! Thanks to the trust fund set up by her parents as well as revenue from her own budding Social Media Empire, Eilonwy has made it a point to hit up as many conventions as possible each year. She even has a tidy little business selling small cosplay bits through her own online store, The Tadpole's Wings. Hell, she even managed to cameo on an episode of Heroes of Cosplay. If that isn't a mark of success in her little world, she doesn't know what is!
Classic Cars - Eilonwy is obsessed with classic cars. And by classic she means cars produced between the '20s and '70s. There's just something about those old cars that is so graceful and downright beautiful. Not to mention that delightful roar some of those engines could produce! When she's not at cons, Eilonwy can be found at car shows, usually drooling over someone's restored Model T or Impala. And she doesn't just look at them either! Eilonwy is a fair enough mechanic and takes care of her precious babies all by herself. She owns three classics currently: a '65 Ford Mustang in Cherry Red, a '69 Chevy Impala in Sky Blue and a '57 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gull-wing Coupe in Silver.
Virtues:
Confident - Part of what makes Eilonwy so good at her YouTube shows is her confidence. At no point in her life has she ever held one iota of uncertainty in her abilities and it shows. Not only does she comes across on her videos as totally self-assured, she lets that confidence shine through when she's cosplaying and has been more than happy to take the brunt of an attempt to body shame any girl (or boy, she don't judge) with a brilliant smile and heart guffaw at the idiots who think that they can decree what anyone does or wears. ******** that noise, mate. She's successful, creative and vastly more interesting that you pasty lot.
Charming - Polite, friendly and, frankly, adorable, Eilonwy was brought up in money. Which means that from a very, very young age, she was taught the noble arts of being graceful in look, tone and movement as well as effortlessly pleasing whomever she comes into contact with. And though she caters to a different audience these days (and has resisted her parents' best efforts to marry her off), Eilonwy continues to be as charming to her followers and fans as she is to the stodgy old Lord she was introduced to last week. All you need is a soft voice, friendly little compliment and a quick flutter of one's eyelashes.
Shrewd - It takes brains to create a tiny financial empire for one's self. Brains and a willingness to change and evolve as needed. Eilonwy is fully aware of this and is shrewd enough to make sure that the content she provides never becomes stale. She can't make YouTube videos for the rest of her life, after all. The medium is still just fickle enough that one wrong move could doom her. For all the cute and bubbly she gives her audience, there is a cold and calculating businesswoman behind the scenes who is meticulous about who she sponsors or collaborates with. Eilonwy fully intends to remain wealthy and enjoy self. And the only way that will happen is if she continues to make smart business moves.
Flaws:
Vain - While confidence is no bad thing, Eilonwy often carries it far beyond the acceptable norms. She is often ridiculously easy to flatter because her vanity sees it as simply her rightful due. In Eilonwy's world, no one is as pretty, smart, tough or talented as Eilonwy herself. She is quite content to sit there and let you feed her ego with pretty little compliments and flattering words. After all, it's all true as far as she's concerned! The Queen is merely being paid her due by the common rabble.
Spoiled Rotten - Growing up with wealthy, landed parents isn't such a bad thing when said parents raise their children with a firm hand. Sadly, this was not the case for Eilonwy. She grew up an only child with foolishly doting parents who saw no harm in granting their tiny, precious child whatever she wished. This behavior carried on well into Eilonwy's teens and managed to thoroughly spoil her. If you thought her vanity was bad, wait until she sees something she wants and doesn't get. She'll whine, cry, hint, plead and shout if she thinks it will get her what she wants. What a pity no one ever told her no growing up.
Brat Princess - Oh! You've managed to survive extended exposure to Eilonwy's little foibles, have you? Well, don't worry. You're past the worst of it. Unless, of course, you've told her no and are obstinately refusing to grant her every little request. Oh, you did do that? Well, you might want this safety helmet then. Because all of Eilonwy's whining if she doesn't immediately get her way is nothing compared to the full fledged fits and tantrums she throws when steadfastly denied. You can expect banshee-like shrieking, floods of tears and a lot of property destruction. She hasn't hurt anyone yet, but that hasn't stopped servants and her parents from fleeing the room when the Brat Princess gets into a mood.
