It wasn't a bad room at all, quite comfortable. He started to go through his things and unpack them, seeing as he was gonna be staying here a while. "So...I'm kind of wondering if we could run a test right now. I want to see how my tolerance is." he said as he was putting his clothes again. AsherAsher walked out to the common area with a notebook and a pen. Sitting next to Belmont he wrote out a chart while chuckling. Agreed and you are going to have to really try to be in tune with your body cause while i'm casting the spell I won't be able to monitor you too. At least not without lessening the other spell. So maybe we come up with some kind of sign in case you can't talk later on. But we can get to that later. I feel that I should be able to stop the experiment too if I see something going wrong. He finished the chart and handed it to Belmont to review to see if it would suit his research as well his own. We should probably stagger using both light and dark magic and probably only use like that tickling spell and stinging spell since those are the least dangerous spells I can confidently raise and lower the velocity of them
He got up and knelt beside Belmont's chair. When you're ready I'll perform a simple diagnosis spell. You've probably had it done plenty of times by your caregivers growing up.

His hand started to glow as it normally warmed the recipient's body. The pen by his notebook popped up and started to fill out the chart. After being checked for his condition for so many years, he was used to this. when he got the all clear, he opened his eyes and got up from the chair. "Alright, let's do this..." he paused and took a few deep breaths in and out. He put his arms out and in one hand, a small ball of light appeared in it. In the other, a dark swirling black fog. He took another breath and both orbs disappeared and moved up his arms and into his body. Everything seemed normal until they reached his chest. Once there, he started to float a little bit and bolts of a dark yellow bolts with glowing bits started to strike once and a while around his body. Belmont took another breath and slowly moved his arms in, going to bring his hand together. However, there was some resistance. The more Belmont pushed, the harder the resistance got. The bolts intensified and started to strike in close proximity to Belmont's form. Right as he was about to bring his hands together, a surge of power erupted and Belmont was sent into the back wall with a thud. He gasped and all the channeling stopped. After a few more bolts, he hit the floor. He gasped again and started to cough as he slowly got on all fours. "Ha...haha...I was close...."He muttered before losing strength and hitting the floor. He just laid there on the floor, his eyes closed and trying to force air into his lungs. Even the smallest spells when combined could react in such a way. That was what Belmont learned from this...also that this year was going to hurt...a lot. ☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲☲

AsherHe watched in amazement as the the orbs traveled down. When it got to his chest and when Belmont was lifted up he stood up ready to stop the experiment. After Belmont hit the wall he ran over to him. He could still hear him breathing so that was a good sign. He magic'd his notebook over to him before performing the diagnosis spell again. Okay your breathing is very slow. Let me help with regulate your breathing. Breath in when you feel warm and out when you feel a chill. We are going to do this till I can get that rate up. OkayHe started to use his own breathing rate to help giving a warming spell to breathe in and a cooling spell to breathe out.

He followed Asher's instructions and took a breath in with the warm and out with the cold. He followed this for a few minutes, starting to feel like himself again...though in pain still. Slowly, he got himself up, and leaned against the wall...that had a tad of a dent in it now from the force he'd flown back. "Thank you..." he was finally able to mutter as he continued to breathe and feel better. He took in a particularly large breath and then let it out, just letting his body fully relax. "I could feel the magic resisting each other...I thought if I eased them together, little by little, they'd collide but...they resisted too much. So I put a little force into it and I could feel something...give. Why don't we rethink the way we go about this. He said not liking that he might not be as proficient of a healer to help him if things go really bad.
