Shaowei hadn't been asked to consider much since she had become one of the Dark Mirror Court; in fact if she were to consider her duties versus those of the Chaos and Order Senshi it was safe to say that she didn't have many. They were embroiled in a war she didn't entirely understand and it seemed that when it came to her own court, they didn't really have a horse in the race. However when she had at least done some study in regards to who and what she was she had been made aware of the fact that while they may not be a part of this war, they needed to prepare for what might potentially happen as a result of it.

It was all a bit vague to say the least and she wasn't entirely sure what it all meant, but the implications were at least there in some form. At some stage it was highly likely that the White Moon Senshi and Chaos would slaughter one another and bring about some cataclysmic event that may jeopardise everyone else's existence. In short, while they weren't involved in the war they still played a role in preventing that from happening. Fantastical as the idea might be, it seemed their aim was to build an entirely new world and for that to work they needed energy.

...Quite a bit of it if she understood it correctly.

It hadn't been easy for her to ascertain how she was supposed to acquire this energy until she'd made an accidental discovery. A small, experimental tap of her compact had disturbed something and no sooner had she done so than she had been greeted by the looming shadow. Haunting eyes gazed back at her, yet it made no sound and simply waited in an almost expectant fashion. At first she'd assumed her eyes were playing tricks on her but a quick flick through her compact gave her some details - this was a wraith, and she was supposed to utilise its unique abilities to extract energy from other living beings.

Did that mean it would work on plants?

She hadn't been sure, but as she now gazed out into the quiet street and waiting for an unassuming target, she did have to wonder if that might be a more humane approach to their conundrum. Granted she had no idea if it actually hurt to have the wraith do whatever it did, but something didn't sit well with her about taking the very life of a sentient being.

Suffice it to say that her own musings on the morality of her choices would have to wait though as a lonely jogger began to draw near and she saw her opening. A quick motion towards him and the wraith soared out, sweeping through the shadows to track behind the man. A moment later it had swept through him and he had simply dropped to his knees, so suddenly that she'd heard the crack of them on the pathway before he slumped completely to the ground. It was pure luck that he didn't slam his head against the ground but she was left agape, a deep seated guilt boiling in her stomach.

Oh god was this what was supposed to happen?!

She quickly bustled forward to pull him up, settling him on the bench to examine his injuries. Grazed knees aside he was still breathing and her wraith was still lurking. Her wraith seemed fine, it was pulsing ever so slightly but there was nothing amiss... But when it came to their victim here. Well, she checked his pulse and when she was satisfied it was strong she took a step back and furrowed her brow. She'd knocked him out, or rather her wraith was, if there was ever a way to spark suspicion then it was certainly that.

She was missing something here.

"Ok we need to go back to the drawing board," she conceded as she held out her compact and swept the wraith back in. She didn't know how to approach this differently, but she couldn't spend her days almost concussing and snapping the necks of innocent bystanders. Subtlety was required for this and she was going to have to learn how to achieve that without causing damage. Thus, she'd wander away for now and find a Starbucks. She usually had her epiphanies when watching the world go by and this evening would probably be no different; something would come to her and when it did, she'd be back to try again...
