Neveam This leather winged bat like creature with large fuzzy ears that swivel all around it is great for night travels as it scouts using echolocation. It is at home in caves and dark places. Big enough to carry small packages it can be used to take messages long distances with it’s strong wings. Druids who venture in caves will likely be familiar with this creature Location: Caves in Athas and Torreland HP: 2 Stats: xxxPhy:1 xxxMen: 2 xxxSoc: 2 Abilities: xxxEcholocation (soc): able to find paths in the dark even ones hidden from sight or ability to find enemy in the dark so no negative rolls to attack in darkness
Rosalba lead the druid to the cave. “Sorry to bother you with this little quest rather then run it though the adventures guild, but I’d like to try sketching a Neveam for some of the library books but to do that well… I’d like you to catch one for me to look at. This cave has a few I’ve seen but I just can’t seem to catch one. I can’t help you out in a fight either but I can get some assistance if you really need it but then I doubt we’ll be able to catch a neveam.” She hesitated going into the cave not wanting to go in at all. “I’ll ah.. be here if you need me…. Call?”
This is a druid beast companion quest for Sweet Warmth to catch a Neveam -in order to tame a neveam Sweet must best one in single combat -Sweet can not call on assist from Rosalba unless she feels she needs to. (Any beast Rosabla lands a blow on will not be qualified for Sweet to tame. So she’s staying out unless needed.) -sweet may only tame one Neveam. The number that will be encountered in the cave will be determined by the dice roll in this post. Edit 3
Sweet may enter the cave any time at this point and has first strike on the bats that have not yet noticed their presence.
Sweet Warth smiled and she nodded "It's no trouble at all, I am glad to help, I want to learn more about these creatures myself so I feel the best way to do that is to catch one as well." She moved forward, she wasn't the strongest kitsu in the world but she was determined to try her best to take down one of these creatures so she could learn about them any help Rosalba. She moved quietly forward attempting to catch the Neveam off guard. She didn't think she had much of a chance physically unless she created a net or something instead.

The Neveam scatter and begin to chirp in the dark cave panicking and attack the source of the noise in the cave. this causes a lot of clatter to happen all at once in the cave
Sweet attempted once again to attack the bat, she wished she had a way to talk to the bats rather than attacking them, as a druid she felt it would be better to calm the bats rather than hurt them. She would have to study and figure out if it was possible to calm animals to tame them. She would rather be gentle than harm others, studying and learning was more her thing than fighting was. She huffed a breath. "Do you happen to have a net? I wonder if I could do this smart rather than brute force." She would keep trying but smart was her area rather than strength.

"a net?" a voice called out from the front of the cave. There was some rummaging around at the front of the cave while the Neveam seemed to scatter and try to avoid the attacks the kitsu was making. It would seem a net would have to wait while Rosalba was looking for something to use.
Sweet frowned but she did her best to dodge the angry bats attack her and make another attempt to take down the bats so she could study them and so could Rosalba. It was lucky they were able to work together for a common goal of learning more about these creatures. She lunged forward and attempted to hit one of the bats with her paw. She considered trying to use her frozen glare soon and see if that helped her. She then attempted to duck down and avoid getting hit in return. She looked over her shoulder to see if Rosalba had found a net yet.

There is silence outside the cave while Rosalba was looking for a net. Inside the neveam made another attack. One neveam seems to be wearing out and will not be able to attack next round.
Sweet was focused on her battle with the neveam and she didn't turn again to look at the cave entrance instead she batted at the neveam again. Hoping she could take down the first one finally and then start trying to take down the second bat. As long as she didn't give up she would be fine. At least she hoped she would be fine. She huffed a breath again trying to catch her breath, she had never fought like this before. She wondered if she could take a break and fight again, or if she would lose the neveams if she tried that.

One of the neveam fell to the cave floor with a soft thump as it was knocked out. One of the others seemed fatigued enough to not battle so there was only one attacking Sweet this round.
You have bested one Neveam solo you may request help from Rosalba at this time to help with your quest or you may continue to fight and beat the rest of the Neveam or if you want to take a whole action to collect the Neveam then another action to flee you may also do that.
Using Frozen Gaze -this ability allows a tundra to freeze an enemy in place once per battler as their icy glare makes the enemy feel as though a blizzard has clutched their heart. Can be used once in battle, there is no physical cold effect it is a look so dark it makes the enemy freeze. (On Neveam 2)

Sweet was pleased with herself for being able to frighten one of the bats into freezing it was nice to be a tundra sometimes. She then attempted to attack once more she hoped she would be able to defeat these bats and tame one of them to be her animal companion. She still wished she had a way to talk to the bats rather than hurting them. She wanted a friend, not a servant. She had no choice currently so she would have to do what she must. She was glad she was able to help someone learn more about these creatures.
