Dark Mirror Sailor Sansuna of Raiju

This was more difficult than she'd been led to believe. The sun was just starting its descent onto the horizon, casting long shadows from the taller buildings in Destiny City. It really did have spectacular dusks, admittedly. Something one of the newest members of the Dark Mirror Court couldn't currently appreciate, distracted as she was by one of her "duties."

"Would you stop knocking people out?" the tall redhead complained, gesticulating angrily at a glittering collection of motes floating over the inert form of what had been a very lively jogger just moments before.

Supposedly gathering energy from people didn't have any long-term effects aside from fatigue, but obviously taking a large gulp out of someone led to a pretty instant KO. Sansuna strode over in a huff, nudging the spandexed man in the stomach with the toe of her tabi. A weak grunt was her response.

"You're lucky I waited in an alley to do this," the Dark Mirror continued, jabbing a finger at her mirror wraith: a supposed ally.

Said ally showed no sign of caring. A vaguely feline shape would form now and again out of the glittering shards that comprised the creature, but it beyond that it seemed content to simply float there.

"Fine," the senshi groaned, giving up and giving a quick swipe to return the little wisp to containment.

If nothing else, that was a quota all in one go. Now there was just the question of Lumpy there. She couldn't well leave him unconscious in an alleyway after all. Thankfully, there were some perks that came with the new job.

Easily hefting the jogger over her shoulder, Sansuna coiled and sprung onto the roof of the building behind which they'd been secluded. Two stories and she hadn't even broken a sweat. Admittedly, that was cool. Dumping her passenger onto the rooftop, she figured he'd come to and find his way down the fire escape... or something. Details.

While pondering how best to get ahold of someone to allow travel back to Mirrorspace and deposit the gathered energy her Mirror Wraith now held, the woman was struck with a sudden sense of something vaguely familiar. Like catching sight of someone you knew just as they went around a corner. Curious to find out just what the feeling meant, she dropped lightly from the rooftop and emerged from the alleyway back into the street that bordered the northern edge of Destiny Park. Just where was that sensation coming from? It was close.

Thankfully pedestrians paid her little mind. Apparently people in odd clothing were just accepted here, even if she thought her darkly starry clothing was quite fabulous.

Sansuna didn't need to wait long before her search ended: the person giving her the familiar feeling just happened to come and meet her at the edge of the park. Judging from the strange clothes and the friendliness with which she was greeted, the Dark Mirror presumed this was another of her kind. After all, based on what she'd learned in her short crash course introduction to the whole secret war for the fate of the universe, most would be rather more hostile aside from maybe the Negaverse... and this girl wasn't wearing some stuffy suit.

"Yeah, uh... super new," Sansuna admitted, planting her hands on her hips. "Finding the energy wasn't the problem, it's Moron."

The redhead jabbed a thumb at where her compact was secured before it struck her that the other woman probably had no idea what that meant.

"My wraith," she clarified. "It doesn't really do what I want, no matter how stealthy I try to be. It just kind of... goes for broke. I left a guy on the roof of that building back there so he didn't get mugged while he was having an unplanned nap. Plus side? I guess I got a huge haul in one go."

She shrugged.

"I'm Sailor Sansuna," she offered, holding out a hand for a friendly shake. "And either White Moon are much more amicable than I was led to believe, or you're like me. Nice to meet you."

"Experience eh," Sansuna mused, shaking hands a bit longer and breaking her grip to tap her chin. "So they respect power. That's easy enough. I'll give it a choice next time. It goes for stealth or it gets zapped. We'll call it conditioning."

The senshi smiled at Varda's description of her previous altercations. Seemed Sansuna had found somewhat of a soulmate.

"Roller derby! I've never gotten the chance to try it out, but it always looked fun. I'm into er..."

She wasn't sure the words lucha libre would mean anything if Varda wasn't familiar with it.

"Freestyle wrestling, I guess you could say. Still a lot of physicality at least. Only White Moon I've come across so far was some beefy guy who called himself Athalia. Fun fight though, guy's built like a tank."

Sansuna cocked her head, eyeing Varda openly and brushing a stray lock of red hair behind an ear as it fell into her face from the motion.

"So what are your powers anyway? Or sphere, I guess Orias called it. Your magic. Anything fun? If it's combat-oriented I'd love to have a go against it."

"Yeah, the guy really seems to just fight to get things done. Which is fine, I guess, but where's the enjoyment? Nothing like pummeling someone worthwhile. Bet he doesn't even like to show off those arms normally, it's just the way his outfit happened to be. Oh well."

Sansuna grinned widely.

"Victory huh? That's pretty cool. Adrenaline lets even normal people do superhuman things, so I can only imagine what it does to a senshi. And I'm told our powers only get stronger as they go on... which I'm hoping is true, because mine likes to either fizzle or explode randomly. Someone told me it's because I was awakened later than the norm, but I'll eventually get over it."

The Dark Mirror wiggled her fingers as small arcs of electricity danced between the tips.

"I'm the senshi of Raiju, some sort of lightning wolf... tiger... thing. I hear a lot of people in the eastern part of the world know about it. I had some learning to do when I found out, but I won't argue with shocking jabs. When it doesn't malfunction it really gets the job done. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to summon lightning strikes someday?"

The redhead rolled one shoulder in an easy shrug.

"That said, you seem to like a good fight as much as I do. Whattaya say? Wanna go a round or two? Could be a lot of fun!"
