Briallen was swinging in the little vine seat that her mother had twisted together on one of the lower branches of a tree near their Belrean home. The little Alkidike was singing softly to herself as she continued swinging back and forth, her legs kicking with the movement. "Peaceful times, peaceful times~" She chirped happily as she reflected upon the discussion of some of the other Sisters. They had been talking about how strange things were now that the young mystic could freely travel and that there were actually more trees than just Aisha blooming children. Apparently one was named Elzira and even she was more open to others now cause the mean Sisters had made peace with the rest? Briallen pursed her lips in confusion at the thought before continuing on with her swinging.

Faenna came running from the market looking as pleased as could be. It was always a good day when the adults were too busy chatting to notice her slipping around~ Grin getting bigger when she saw her sister, she skipped over and held out a crunchy sugar stick. "You talking to yourself?" she teased playfully, happily taking a bite from her own stick. "I worry about you, sometimes."

"Haha." Briallen stuck her tongue out at her sister. "I worry about you all the time so that makes us even!" She teased back lightly before kicking off again and swinging high into the air. Briallen loved the feeling of the wind as it blew her dreads back away from her face. It was almost as if she could actually fly! She loved the feeling so much! A grin lit her features before she finally slowed the swing to study her sister, mainly her sweet snack. "Some of the older Sisters were talkin' bout peaceful times." She finally stated with a firm nod towards her sibling. "Apparently it's a biiiiig thing and all of our cousins can play together now instead of fightin' all the time. It's why we got to come all the way over here from Chibale!" Apparently their Vandrea cousins were new and that their mother tree was actually really young! Peaceful times had just happened and Briallen could only wonder about what the world must have been like before she was born. All she knew was that while the Vandrea were different from her and Faenna it didn't stop Briallen from wanting to play with the other younglings. They were all Aishans in the end, right? So what did some differences matter? Why fight in the first place? She could fight with her own sister sometimes but she would never actually hurt her!

Faenna's tongue popped out quickly in retaliation, though it was quickly followed with a light giggle. Brow lifting, she took another bite and nodded. "I heard 'em all talkin' about that," she mumbled around her mouthful, only then giving herself a moment to finish chewing. "They were arguing a little, actually. A lot were happy about everyone playing together, but some of them seemed.. not happy." Her little brow knit slightly. "I don't know why they would be mad about it though. Mama's says the peace is good for everyone." She found herself cocking her head. "So, we would still be by Aisha if mama hadn't made the Elarians behave?"

Briallen pursed her lips into a pout. "I guess the others did some bad things and can be scary? Scary people are hard to play with." She quirked her head thoughtfully before shaking it in frustration. It was so confusing at times! Why did they even fight in the first place? She was still too young to truly grasp some aspects of this world but all she could think was that it had to of been something really bad! Worse than her stealing some of Faenna's treats and sneaking off with them even. "I guess so." She answered after a thoughtful pause. "And then we would miss out on Chiume." Would Chiume even be here? Briallen's frown only grew at the thought. She would hate to have never met some of her Vandrea cousins! "So I think peace is good, right? Mama did a really good thing so they should all be happy 'bout it!"

Faenna sighed and nodded. "I don't like playing with meanies. Mima says to leave them alone and find nicer friends. I guess that's what everyone here did? The cousins on Yael were mean, so everyone else left for a nicer place." Their mothers had sat with the both of them to give an obviously filtered version of what was going on, but that had been a while ago and Faenna didn't think too much on the matter. "Maybe the ones still angry didn't hear them apologize yet? I bet they're waiting to get apologized to." After all, she knew that peace happened most often after she was made to apologize for things.

"Ditto." Briallen nodded in agreement with her sister. There was no fun playing with bullies! They were rude and...and probably stinky or something! The youngling pursed her lips in defiance at the invisible enemies before her sister's suggestion had her blinking. "So...you think they should just say sorry? Maybe that is it." Briallen often would throw a silent tantrum whenever she was upset at someone and felt she deserved an apology after all. "But do you think that they'll ever apologize if they are super mean like that?" Was it even possible? Briallen shifted in her swing, the motion moving her lazily back and forth ever so slightly, and pondered what the mean cousins must be like to have everyone so on edge still.

Faenna nodded. "I guess it depends on how bad they were, but I bet it would help a lot if they just apologize. Like when I got Klitja all mad because I knocked over that stupid vase she used to leave on the edge of her stall. I didn't mean to knock it over, but she wouldn't let me near the stall again until mima made me apologize." That old Klitja was so touchy... Finishing off the sweet, she reached out to push lightly on Briallen's back to make the swinging more pronounced. "I dunno. Is anyone really mean enough to never apologize?" That just sounded crazy!

Briallen chewed on her bottom lip thoughtfully, her hands tightening around the vine ropes of her swing as she pondered things. "I 'spose you're right." Apologies did always seem to make things better for them, especially whenever they accidentally did something like breaking a vase. Briallen remembered the experience her sister was referencing since Klitja had also banned her from getting too close to the stall until her sister had apologized. If even cranky Klitja could accept an apology then why couldn't the others accept the apologies of those on Yael?
"Oof!" Briallen let out a sound of surprise as she was suddenly swinging more but her surprise quickly turned into delight as she moved through the air. "Who knows?" She yelled back towards her sibling while cutting upwards through the air on her moving swing. "I think it's silly but maybe someone really doesn't like sayin' sorry!" Now that would be a shame! Especially if they were finally getting the chance to actually apologize."Maybe there are some that haven't said sorry yet even though it's been a while?" Years really. If they still hadn't apologized then she could understand why a lot of the older Sisters were still upset at them!

They had to be really stubborn to not want to apologize and make peace with their own family! No matter how upset she got, she always managed to talk things out with her mothers and sister, and even the cousins around her. "That's what I'm thinking," she said with a sigh. "Oh, or maybe they're scared to!" Faenna gave her sister another push as the swing went by her. "Maybe they're worried their apology won't be accepted. Some of them here are pretty angry still." Apologizing to someone angry was scary, too! Faenna knew that feeling as well. ...She sure knew a lot about apologizing.

"Fair 'nuff!" Replied Briallen as she whizzed past her sister once more to soar towards the sky. Though as she pondered her sister's words, Briallen found herself shaking her head. Maybe not though cause if they were bad guys could they be afraid like that? As she reached the ground again and prepared to swing past Faenna she voiced her concerns, "Can baddies get scared though, Faenna?" She asked before climbing back towards the skies again as her swing continued moving. Not that she had really encountered anyone truly evil or mean before so it really was an honest question. Weren't the bad bug guys also vile and they definitely never apologized in their mothers' stories! What if some of the other Aishans had that mean of a spirit too? Briallen closed her eyes against the thought before swinging back towards the ground once more.

Faenna's brow rose curiously with the posed question, head moving along with her sister's swinging. Briallen had a point. She'd never met someone truly bad, so far as she knew. As Briallen flew back to her, she raised her voice again. "Mima says the Elarians went to them for help with their tree. That means they had to at least be worried about Elzira being okay!" That was a good sign, right?

Briallen's feet dug into the ground as she suddenly halted her swinging. "They did..." She replied slowly as she mulled the words over in her mind. If they were worried about the tree then that meant they had to have some sort of feelings! Briallen nodded firmly before glancing at her sister. "If they can worry about Elzira then they can have some sort of hearts! Hearts let people grow, right?" She tried to remember exactly what her Mima and Mama said about such things and how feelings could change over time. Even if the actual words or conversations escaped Briallen she knew that somehow that meant there was hope! That was why they helped out Elzira because there was a chance at the others coming back around, right? She shook her head, her curled dreads bouncing with the movement. "Either way I 'spose we'll just see what happens. Maybe when we're older we can even see Elzira ourselves!" That would be cool! They had already come to Belrea after all so why not see the rest of the world? Briallen's heart leapt at the thought of traveling even more in the future. While both Chiume and Chibale were super dear to Briallen she did wonder about the rest of the world. It was so big and exciting after all! There was just so much to do in the future but for now Briallen was just happy to spend her childhood with her family on Chiume where every day was fun and exciting.

It was a relief to hear that Briallen agreed with her idea. Faenna knew of the stories of evil like the dretch. Those monsters surely had no feelings; and if they did, they were buried deep deep deep down inside. The Elarians were not the dretch. "Yup! Hearts make space for everyone!" The idea of seeing Elzira with her own eyes made her gasp excitedly. "That would be so neat! Maybe once everyone stops being angry." With the tales of other places from her mothers and other sisters that had traveled at all, Faenna knew that she wanted to explore the world herself. There was so much to see, and she hoped she would be able to see all of it at peace.
