Word has spread about the meeting between the two mystics. From the far reaches of Tendaji, across the sea to Kahikina, all the Aishans knew that Danika made the trip to the extremist camp and walked away with a peace deal. Many were reassured, many more were overwhelmed with joy to finally see their family again. Those in Kahikina saw hope that they too might be welcomed back, and most were excited to build a new global tribe of Aishan warriors.

But others had different reactions. Change was difficult, and they would need to consider what it meant for them.

----------------------

When news reached Pyrrha about the meeting of the mystics she'd been out and about buying supplies. It was more common for her to be in the village the days after she and Kanika had asked Esena for a blessing, so gossip was easy to come by.

The thought of being able to return to Zinris one day with her daughters...to see her twin again after so long apart...it was certainly something to dream about. Would they be welcomed back? Or was did this peace even extend to them? Lifting a sweet, fat fruit to her lips Pyrrha took a bite as she mulled it over.

"I'd like to see it.." As they passed, Pyrrha caught snippets of the conversation between a few elarians. "Jauhar, I mean. Even if I can't see Aisha it'd be nice to see where we came from."

"Oh, like it'd matter. You'd be bored of it in a day and ask to go back home."

She couldn't help smiling. The two were so young, younger than she'd been on the journey over, but that didn't make their optimism any less infectious.

Qila had been within earshot of the gossipers as well. Her curious little eyes and ears listened in and followed the girls until they were out of earshot. She wasn't usually seen in the busy parts of the village since she was so energetic and liked to swing a stick around like a sword all the time but today was different. Her mother wanted her to come with her on an errand. The little girl stood outside a small shop while her mother was inside looking around.

Turning her head she looked up at Pyrrha since she was the nearest person. "What's an Aisha?" Her tone was full of curiosity, though it was clear her mother hadn't told her much about the other trees.

At first Pyrrha hadn't really taken notice of the little elidae. She'd been caught up in her own world, imagining a sort of environment where all three goddess trees could exist together. It would have been nice to have them so close to one another and yet-

Blinking, the elarian looked down at the little one and smiled. "Aisha is a goddess, just like Esena." Talking about it was such a strange concept to Pyrrha. It had been hard enough for her generation to wrap their minds around something other than Elzira and now she was having to do it twice over with this generation. "Except she's much, much older. She lives in Jauhar with the Alkidike"

A Goddess just like Esena. This took a second to process. Qila stared up at the Elaria for a long second then looked down so that she wasn't craning her neck to see. "There is another Goddess out there?" And there was another word she wasn't used to, or hadn't heard. "Where is Jauhar?" Her gaze lifted back up for this question.

By her inquiries it would be obvious that her mother didn't tell her much about the mainland if anything at all.

Pyrrha bent down at the knee and ran her finger in the dirt. At first she was just drawing simple shapes, but soon enough she'd made something equivalent to a very crude map. "There are two." Maybe three more, if the rumors were to believed, though she thought it best to keep her mouth shut for the time being. Best not to confuse the child further.

"Across the ocean is Tendaji. It's very big and a lot of people live there, but if you go here-" She trailed her finger across the 'continent' to a smaller island close by, "-you can find Chibale. That's where Aisha is. She's Esena's grandmother." It may not have been completely accurate, but in Pyrrha's eyes it may as well have been. After all, she'd always seen Elzira as a daughter of Aisha and if Esena was of Elzira then it jsut worked out.

Qila seemed intrigued with the map that was being drawn and she moved in closer so that she could lean over and really look. She gave a small nod to hearing that there were two other goddesses out there apart from her own mother tree. Since her mother was Elaria she knew about Elzira. But to hear about Aisha was new.

When Pyrrha pointed to the mass she called Chibale it made Qila furrow her brow slightly. On the little map it looked like it wasn't that far away but she knew from walking the island they were on now that distance was greater in person. "That seems really far. Have you been there before? Is Aisha as pretty as Esena?"

"I've never been to Chibale before, but one day I'd like to go." Pyrrha sat back on her haunches, one of her arms loosely propped against her knees while the other was drawing in 'details'. "I always thought it would just be a story my mother's told me, but now that there's peace between the elaria and the alkidike I think we really could."

She still wasn't entirely sure how relations were between the Elaria of Zinris and those that had fled, but maybe they would be able to visit soon. Pyrrha had no desire to ever live in Zinris again, but the chance to see her twin...oh, that would make her very, very happy. "I've heard that Aisha is just as beautiful, but bigger! Much, much bigger! Think of Esena as the size of a baby, and Elzira is a little bigger than you, but Aisha...oh, Aisha's the size of a full grown warrior!"

Hearing that there was peace now made her curious. What had started the war anyways? Qila didn't yet know all those lessons but she was hoping to learn them.

When she was told that Aisha was big, big like a warrior, her eyes widened and she stared up at the Elaria with awe. She couldn't imagine a tree that big. If her own mother tree was just a baby then she was curious to see what Aisha looked like. "Whoa.. I wanna see. Do you think I could see her one day?" How far was it really to get to Aisha? Her eyes dropped back down to the crude map drawn on the ground and she tried to calculate how far she would have to go.

"I'm sure you can." In all honesty Pyrrha had no idea if little Qila would be allowed anywhere near Elzira or Aisha but she liked to believe it was possible. If peace had been achieved between the Elaria and Alkidike then what was stopping her?

"One day I hope to see Aisha myself. She bloomed my mothers and without her I wouldn't be able to see the world as I do." Regardless of the relationship she held with her birth mother's Pyrrha understood that without them or Elzira she wouldn't exist. There was much to be thankful for in this world and so many more goddesses to send her prayers to.

"When you're older you'll be strong enough to make the journey, but you shouldn't go alone. It's unsafe." Smiling a little, Pyrrha readjusted her stance to get a little more comfortable. "Go with friends and only when you're bigger, okay?"

Her little face lit up when she was told she could. Qila couldn't help but look like a child who was just presented with a large treat. "Elzira bloomed my mom. I guess Aisha had to bloom her mom." Of course that kind of connection was a bit complicated for her and she wasn't sure how it worked. At least not at this age.

When the Elaria said she hoped to also see Aisha she moved closer so that she could grab the woman's hand. "Can we go together!? I can ask my mom!" Qila thought all Elaria were good people and safe to be around. After all, no one in their community had done anything bad that her mother had warned her of. And with the community closed off to strangers she didn't even think about dangers of being with someone she didn't know that well.

"Most likely." She hadn't known of many elaria who had children of their own when she left; maybe a few, but the numbers were small. Surely by now that number had grown and with any luck they were kinder than the previous generations.

Looking down at the little hand clenching her own, Pyrrha couldn't help pulling the child closer for a hug. "I don't see why not! But like I said, not until you're older." How nice would that be? To have a companion with her to visit the other trees? Seeing Aisha would truly be a treat, if they were allowed, and returning to Elzira...admittedly gave Pyrrha mixed feelings. Perhaps...perhaps she should just set her eyes on Aisha for now.

"Would you like to come with me to pray to Aisha? Maybe if you let her know how much you want to see her she'll be ready for your visit~"

The hug was unexpected but not unwelcome. Qila wrapped her little arms around Pyrrha and squeezed with all her might, which admittedly wasn't much in comparison to a full blown adult. "Okay! When I'm older!" Though technically she was getting older every second. "So tomorrow? Next week? Next year?" She was eager and excited and wanted to go now.

When it was mentioned that she could pray to Aisha she grinned. "Do you think Miss Aisha would grant me a bloom?" It was certainly an interesting idea to have. But she giggled and leaned her head back so she could look up at Pyrrha more dramatically. "I'll pray to Esena and ask her to help me tell the other Mother Trees that I'd like to see them."

Pyrrha couldn't help laughing. "No, a little longer than next week or even next year. You'll have to be as big as me before we go." Oh, Kanika would love that, wouldn't she? If Pyrrha were to announce she was going on a grand trip with barely grown child.

"A bloom? You're practically a bloom yourself!" She goosed Qila's sides before nudging her forward so that she could stand. "Praying to Esena is a much better idea and one you can do everyday until you're bigger." She wanted to tell her not to waste her youth dreaming of growing up, but Pyrrha always didn't want to be the one to squash her ideas. If she wanted to dream of being a mother to an Aishan then why not? It was strange, but the world was full of oddities.

"Oh alright fiiiiine." She half pouted and released her hold on Pyrrha. Qila thought back to how her mother told her if she ate the right foods, something healthy and by that logic gross, then she would grow up big and strong. Would it help her grow faster? By the look she was giving she was clearly plotting something.

When told she was basically a bloom herself she put her hands on her hips and snorted. "I am not! I am much bigger than a bloom and I'm not stuck in the petals anymore!" Though she was quickly distracted from her momentary outrage at being called a baby when she was told she could pray to Esena every day. "Yep! I do it every morning. Sometimes before bed, but I forget a lot." Though it was more like she just fell asleep before she realized she was even tired.

[FIN]

There was just something so precious about that little pout that made Pyrrha want to coo over her. If only Qila could realize just how adorable she was in that moment she might see just how much more growing there still was in her, but for the moment Pyrrha just let her be 'stern'.

"Keep it up and things will surely go your way." Smiling, she reached over to fondly rub the girls head before starting to turn away. There were plenty of sisters around so she didn't feel as if she were truly abandoning the girl; if anything she must know her way around the village or her mother would be close by. "Take care, little one, and some day we'll be off on our adventure~" After all, with peace on the horizon, what harm was there in dreaming?
