Prompt 3: Trees stretch in every direction, tall and dark and full of unfriendly shadows. Nothing about the area seems safe, and there is a darkness in the forest. If you travel into the forest, you will find that no matter what path you take, the village is always within sight behind you. Any direction, any distance, any time you spend--the village will always be within sight. There is no barrier to stop you, just a strange, infinitely looping forest. Within the forest you find no recognizable trees or landmarks.
He'd gone out, on his own, leaving Clue to sleep in the home they were sharing. It wasn't that he didn't trust his partner - he did. It as that he didn't want him getting hurt. If one of them had to get hurt, or take a risk, it should be him. At least he was a senshi and had magic, unlike his civilian partner, and he still felt like somehow this was bound to happen after he'd told Clue about him being a senshi and tried to explain things- like it 2was some sort of punishment being dealt out by fate or magic itself.
Reaching the forest he stepped past the forest layer of trees and took to trying to look around for anything, because he wasn't sure what there may or may not be hidden in the forest. Just trees for now, and he hoped that did change, but there no telling when magic as involved;. He'd come to know that to be a fact...nothing was certain when magic was involved.

Gyeongju had not been expecting to run into a new large mess in this powered war so shortly after coming back from his time in the South Korean military but from what he had heard from Seung and Terry, it wasn't really a surprise. Personally he was glad that while it seems Terry was also transported into this village, so far it didn't seem like Seung or Matt was and that meant at least two of their family were safe and could look after the twins. Still while Terry was looking into the shelter situation, Gyeongju was going to check out the forest to see if there were any hints of a way out.
So far every single move he made within the forest always ended up back at the village and it was frankly hair raising. It was enough that when he finally ran into someone else in the forest, a Senshi, he almost summoned his weapon to himself, though only a twitch of his fingers gave that away. "Sorry if I startled you as much as you just startled me." He said with a small apologetic look. While his accent had been slowly lessening over the time he lived in the US, thanks to having been in the military and pretty much only speaking Korean it was back up being on the heavy side.

He'd been startled, without a doubt, but he nodded his head slowly and managed a smile, "It's ok." A knight and one who looked a bit...like him in a way. Accented English that was similar but not the same as his own. They may not be a dark mirror senshi but they seemed ok enough.
"I'm sorry if you weren't expecting me here. I'm trying to see if I can't find a way out of here. It's not safe here for my....friend" He didn't want to say too much, to leave it where someone could trace his partner to him - to civilian him. But he slipped on it anyway. At least he said friend and nothing more, not that when they'd all arrived he hadn't made it obvious what Clue was to him - what they were to each other.
"What brings you here?"

While he didn't have a lot of experience with mirror Senshi, he had heard they were just as likely to be friendly as they were to be not and this one didn't seem bad so far. The mirror Senshi wasn't the only one who had noticed the similarities between the two but like Itokawa, Gyeongju just sort of made a note that the other man was Asian and couldn't peg the exact country. "Not a problem, just reinforces to expect the unexpected while here." The Polaris page shrugged with a small smile. Though he supposed it was really 'expect the unexpected always' rather then just here at this point of time.
He blinked at the mention of the Senshi's friend then nodded in understanding as the other explained his intentions. "Honestly I'm doing the same thing, looking for a way out. Too many civilians are here to keep safe, and who knows if something just as bad or worse could be going on back home." He hadn't meant to add on that last bit in case it would make the other man worry more on top of the rest but it was something that weighed on his mind.
Gyeongju couldn't help but look around them for a moment, as if he were hoping a clue or hint would pop up for them right that moment but looked back to the other a minute later. "So far I haven't found anything besides the fact that the village is always within seeing distance no matter where you try to go in the forest." He said, figuring that sharing that type of information was a good thing when all of their goals were the same.

"Not good...not reality but magic doing it...." L:ikme the stories of some fairies and demons and other creatures - reality bending. "Trying to get my friend home safe - this isn't his life." But he'd been dragged in and he had to keep him safe. He just hoped he'd be enough, but he doubted it, he needed to try his best though. He was going to need to get stronger after this so he co9uld keep his partner safe in the future. That would be something for him to do once they all got home.
"I hope all things at home are ok. We don't need to leave here, and this, to return to more bad things." He really hoped he'd get home, with Clue, to find things as they'd left it. He would, once they got home, change things. He as going to make their apartment into a home for them both. Some place safe and warm....it was too empty right now and he was realizing that as they stayed here.
"We can look more...maybe we'll find a break and get pat the magic..."
