Personality: Due to Averna's leadership during the hellish fighting in the first Pro-hero war, her men look up to her as their superior and will do just about anything upon her orders. As a combat officer, she is a skilled strategist and well-rounded fighter, capable of taking care of herself despite the fact that all of her troopers, often worry for her. Although she has shown herself to be rather cynical on occasion, she is also a pragmatic, opportunistic, and professional businesswoman. She is also downright ruthless, willing to go to whatever means to get what she wants.
Averna regards herself and her men as soldiers who missed their chance to die in the great war. While some of her actions can be interpreted as attempts to pursue an honorable death in combat for her men, Averna's status as a military figure is tempered by her role in the criminal underground.
Due to the fact that her force is entirely composed of ex-military soldiers, they are at a serious advantage over the other criminal organizations as they have military grade training, combat experience and discipline that is unprecedented among the rest of the criminal underworld of Roanapur. This is clearly shown when they perform a series of complex raids to weaken the capabilities and coordination of the Yakuza.

History: {Before joining the mafia, Averna was a captain within the national U.A army. She was apart of the air assault troops, also known as the VDV, paratrooper and a veteran of the Pro-Hero war. A fine marksman and sniper, she received the nickname "Malum" which translate to "Evil" in Latin. This was given to her by her own men for how she was towards her enemies. Ruthless, and not forgiving. Her men respected her, but also feared her. Except for one, he made it very clear his intentions. He was a student who took an internship with a Pro-Hero, which made Averna think that maybe her method to becoming a Pro-Hero might of been a bit to extreme. The two hit it off easily, and ended up falling in love. On their first leave off duty, they went ahead and got married, even had a kid together. Averna took the time to rest up before being deployed again, this time, the mission was set up by a newly made Pro-Hero.
Averna can be easily identified by the burn marks which scar most of the right side of her face, neck, upper chest, breasts and leg which she supposedly sustained the scars from being tortured for protecting refugees earning her the nickname "Fry-Face". That's at least what the media covered. The truth is; during one of her recon missions with her men, it was a mission that had gone south. Due to miscommunication's, her men were killed, and she was kidnapped in the enemies territory. For a whole month, she was tortured to the brink of death, the whole recon was set up by a Pro-Hero! How could they allow this to happen?! And because she was part of the U.A army, they weren't prohibited to use their abilities because during this time, any solder wasn't licensed to use their Quirk! Averna mind turn for the darker thoughts, she wasn't about to die here, not now, not ever! She broke the ode of conduct, and used her quirk, and in the process killed everyone in the vicinity, including other possible hostages, and walking away from the blaze of carnage. The feeling of being covered in blood, and hearing the cries of her enemies woke something dark within her.....and it felt good.
When she was tended to her wounds at the camps medic tent, her Husband came to check in on her, not knowing what happened, and at this point, she wanted to be alone with him. The following month, Averna was pregnant again, and was forced to take leave until the child was born. Her commanding officer requested that she retire, but of course Averna was to stubborn, so he offered her one last mission. During her rest, she took this time to build an underground syndicate of her own, one in leagues with the Tyranny of Villains. When her husband, now a Pro-Hero caught wind of this, he warned her, but she wouldn't listen....So he divorced her, and left. When Averna returned to her station with her men, she already made plans for the up coming mission. Basically, they were to act as back-up. They were to ambush the enemy, and aid their fellow comrades, but when that time came, she gave the order to halt, to not move or aid them. A few of her men were appalled by her request, and they ran down the hill. Averna shot each one in the back of the head, not missing a shot, not even blinking. When she asked if anyone else wanted to betray her orders, the rest of her men remained silent. That day, they deserted, and went underground, building their empire, she even became one of the top tiers of most feared! It is with these very men from her unit back in the military days, who follow her in the Mafia today.
