Yunan had decided to check out one of the theaters in Belrea. The entertainment section was a major deal in the city and he had only heard about the wonders of the capital’s theaters. Now that he was supposedly going to attend a performance the hybrid wanted to check out the place in advance. It would allow him to be prepared for any emergencies….not that he expected any disasters but it never hurt to be cautious just in case. Yunan let out a soft sigh as he tightened the scarf around his neck and continued along towards the larger building in the center of the city. It was apparently one of the main theaters around and notorious for its extravagant performances. His brow rose thoughtfully as he studied the large archways, the marble pillars almost reminiscent of some of the more finer noble estates and the palaces in Oba. I suppose they truly do wish to impress here. He thought before another cool autumn breeze ushered him inside through the huge double doors. A shadow at his side was the only other presence in the long hallway as he simply slipped through some doors and started to map out the building in his mind. Eventually he arrived in a large auditorium and found himself somewhat impressed. Okay maybe even more impressed than usual but Yunan was not one to easily admit such feelings. I suppose grandior is fitting considering the performer. He smirked at the thought of the Matori bard before moving between the seats.

What Yunan did not realize was that a pair of teens had been plotting a prank on one of the theater workers. Not expecting anyone else they had rigged up the theater to scare their target quickly. It was darker inside without much lighting and so when Yunan moved between the seats it was then that the bucket of goo swang down from the rafters above. It was only thanks to the warning growl of Dusk that Yunan managed to move in time to avoid the brunt of the mess. Even though the bucket didn’t land on his head as intended, it did splash a little on his fine tunic and his gaze narrowed in disgust. “Really?” He murmured before glancing at the folma growling softly at his side. “Fetch, Dusk.” The words left his mouth and quickly enough the two teens were backed into a corner by the larger beast. Wiping the goo from his tunic, his hand quickly flicking as much as possible onto the floor, Yunan approached with a glare. “Care to explain?” He asked, his voice as soft as a viper’s hiss in the silent theater.

Swallowing, one of the boys took a moment before finally speaking, “S-sorry! We thought that you were someone else, sir!” He managed his bright green gaze fixated on the folmar standing before him, her blue and golden gaze almost glowing in the darkness. “Really sorry, sir. It was a prank!”

“Uh huh.” Yunan fixed his glare on the other boy. “I suppose you are thinking I should just laugh it off and let this go, right? Pranks are common during these times especially amongst younger kids after all.”

“Ye-yes!” The other boy nodded. “Vic and I truly didn’t mean to mess with you.” His cheeks were flushed as he rambled along. “Our friend helps clean the theater during their off time and we thought it would be funny to surprise them.”

“I see.” Yunan paused and reached a hand out to touch Dusk’s back. The folmar settled on her haunches but kept her gaze fixated on both boys almost daring them to try and run. Even though she had grown fond of Yunan there was still a wildness about the familiar that screamed danger to anyone else trying to even get close. It was easy enough to see and plenty threatening to keep both boys from trying to dart away while the hybrid studied them thoughtfully. Perhaps if they had connections to the theater he could find some use from that? “I suppose if you both are truly apologetic I can let you go….for some information and help of course.” While neither boy knew exactly what the hybrid wanted they were definitely eager to be forgiven and quickly nodded. Yunan dismissed them after getting their names and their friend’s information. It could be beneficial to have someone on the inside, especially if they knew about this Gilly that Nicosia had mentioned. Certainly the bard could get Yunan a meeting but it would probably take other ways to get the woman to release the contract to Yunan without some ridiculous price. Yunan smirked as he watched both boys scurry away. Perhaps it was a good thing that it was the season for mischievousness. Soon enough it could be his turn to plan out a trick as well.
