No doubt everyone knows of Eddie Van Halen's passing of throat cancer at age 65, so this thread is in memorium to him. An extensive article will be posted here at a later time.

Wondered when someone would post something about Eddie here, so I'm glad it finally happened. Sad to hear of his passing and my heart bleeds for Wolfgang and the rest of the band. I have personal experiences with grief and is certainly something to behold.

Eddie's son Wolfgang is having a particularly difficult time with losing his dad. He paid tribute to him with his new debut single "Distance"
