Quote: Confronting the Creature (1) : Everything about this place tells you that you should not be out at night. The forest turns wicked, a horrible fog rolls in, and a monstrous creature stirs. But you, for whatever reason, decided to be out late. Perhaps you thought you could hunt the creature, or solve some mystery, or perhaps you were simply unlucky. Either way, the creature has found you. This must be a battle, and you must quote the shop mule, Beckoning Chaos, if you wish to pursue this plot. A moderator or GM will be assigned to RP the creature in this roleplay. You may manage to escape into a building if you are close enough into town, however if you manage to do this you will spend the rest of the evening with the creature tormenting you, banging on the house and trying to break in; you will suffer horrible hallucinations and be plagued with paranoia and fear until morning. If you do not manage to seek shelter, or if you would like the creature to break into your shelter, the creature will defeat you in battle and you will pass out. You cannot defeat the monster, but you may learn something about it in battle. If you lose, you will be taken to a cellar with other prisoners and held outside of the city. Please see the below prompt for more information! All the senshi wanted to do was patrol. She had no idea where Brodewrick was, she didn't want to be home neatr her sistwer, or parents.. And so Sailor Alsafi was walking in the wopood looking for chaos. Surte, it was a selfgish, angryu reason. Suire, she diodn't blend in at all, but it was as she neared the weird, WEuyropean viullage, she felt... Ill at ease. Unncertain. Seriously whatt was a ramshackle European village doing in this neck of the woods? Alsafi began to walk the perimeter slowly, studying evberything with a calm, apopraising gaze but making no effort to conceal herself. Noi, no thje woman didn't need to. She had magic, and she was in a dour mood, unwilling to hide for now. Still, she was also open, only lisdytening to the wood in the fog and dark and mire... And she hoped she ran into something trro bweatr.

Something cracked in the distance, hidden in the mist. A shadow shifted far enough away that it shouldn't have been concerning--only it was, because it seemed to move unspeakably fast. There was the sensation of something on front of her--and then behind her. Mist swirled, as though something had been there, but it was delayed, like it moved so quickly that the environment had to struggle to keep up with the beast. The monster was behind her, though, and a chill grew from that spot. One of its large, oversized hands moved to grip her shoulder, hard. It felt like it could have crushed bones if it kept going, but instead it was just a heavy weight. It was holding her in place, and then, from behind her and over her head, it emitted a high, pulsing screech. With it came the threat of headache and dizziness. It hurt, but it wasn't anything lethal. Yet.

This was NOT what Alsafi expected. She wasn't a battle senshi, her patrols were quiet and calm and aside the Invasion, which she STILL didn't fully understand were exzceptions to the rule. Alsafi, however, was confronted by an abomination and her immediate response was a scared flurry of action, the senshi trying to jerk free as she raised a hand, casting her magic for the first time as she began to make sounds of distress, ready to cry in alarm. Was this a youma proper? She did not want. Quote: Senshi Attack: Alsafi's Flow Sailor Alsafi turns towards one opponent, and points, a light eminating from her finger before the illusion of a pyroclastic flow begins behind her. The target will feel like a wave of hot gasses and rock have begun rolling towards them. This attack lasts 30 seconds and leaves the target with sensitive skin, as if they spilled scalding hot water or coffee on themselves for the duration of the attack.

Even as the sensation of hot gasses swirled around the creature, her attack seemed immediately combatted by the wave of cold fog that crashed down on her. It seemed like the chill in the air worsened the longer her magic did, and by then the wave of fog was choking. Shadows danced on the horizon, coming closer in eerie, unpredictable ways. It felt like the world was melting, like the ground was crumbling beneath the senshi--and yet, there was only the monster, still gripping her shoulders tightly to hold her in place.

Oh this was bad. This was very bnad. Shje wasn't a big fighter -- she wasn't even sure she cast her magic right now, and the pyroiiclastic flow-oriented senshi began to cough as cold bore down hard and strong, and she began to simply struggle, fereling like a magikarp as she coughed. "What the hell!" Alfasi choked out, rubbing her chest. Cold air was flooding her lungs and she did not approve of this. "Whaddare you, an SCP?" Had to be. It had to be an SCP, and the foul-mooded senshi's foul mood deepened. Her magic had [i[one job, a job it screwed up, or shje did. Alsafi was glad whjen her magic wasn't being weird agasin, continuing her struggle bnefore, for lack of a better idea, she bared her teeth and snarled. Be the dragon, her mind detewrmined. Be the mighty fioerce== wow, she noted, her snarling and hjissing sounded so pathetic.

If the creature understood what she was saying, it was not offended or taken aback by the words. It had a ritual, a goal. The Senshi was an anomaly in this world, and something that should be disposed of. Only, all things had use. Even this Senshi, that would attack. The bone white teeth of the human before it caused no stirring of fear or rage in the beast. Instead, it mimicked her action. It rose to its full height and then snarled at her, with a bellow that shook the trees and deafened the area around her. Mist swirled--and darkness. It was pushing darkness upon her, into her. Not a chaos, just a sleep. Just a spell. Just a dream.

For all of a moment, Sailor Alsafi was almost positive being the dragon might work. Maybe it was resaponding with respect, or... Nope/ Those teeth were a challenge, but there was no tuime to act nor had she any idea how to respond to a bellow that temporarily robbed hearing beyond hissing and twitching the first motions of sheltering her ears. There was nmo time to react, only wince several seconds befdore punishing dark slammed her to the ground with all of the grace of a chicken -- the derpy kind that did derpy things and ended up memed. No, the senshi collapsed to the ground without futher fuss, folding like she was made of cards -- sure, she haD OFFENSE MAGIC, BUT SHE LACKED THE KNOWLEDGE TO FIGHT. eITHER WAY, IT SEEMED TRYING TO DEFEND HERSELF WENT REALLY, REALLY BADLY. oR MAYBE IT WAS BAD LUCK -- IT DIDN'T MATTER. sHE WAS COLLAPSED ON THE GROUND LIKE A BROKEN DOLL, MAKING NO FIURTHER MOVEMENT.

The creature stood above her for a long moment, and silence returned to the forest once more. It stood, a hulking shadow of a thing, and watched her. And then one clawed hand reached to grab the back of her uniform and it lifted her easily, dragging her slowly across the fresh earth. The creature faded into the mist, Alsafi in hand. She lived, but there was no telling for how long that might be. She was a victim of the creature in the mist, she disappeared into the darkness with it. NovaCracker Alsafi has been abducted by the creature!
