For many years, the Firekin have reigned supreme over the sands of the desert, controlling and dominating all who dare attempt to gain back the dusty paradise. It was said that the Firekin made a mistake, forgetting all but Finar-si, since it was her blood they were born from. With that thought in mind, and the mistakes of many generations, it is said that the gods turned away and left only the blessings of Finar-si on the Firekins, and even than it was limited. With one last push, the pride suddenly rose up, only to be killed again in a plague, and forgotten of the past by the new leaders. Though they were respectable, they did nothing to teach of the past, and as most of the pride dispersed from the tainted lands, the past was soon forgotten.

It is now, when the members return as adults with the teachings fresh in their minds and their dreams, that there must be something done. Mau-ri spoke of how it is up to the blood, and thus, it is up to the Firekins to rid themselves of the calling of Finar-si. Thus, it is when a new group comes in, remembering the rumors of the past, and looking to become as strong as they once were. It was time for Finar-si's blood to spill and spread room for the other gods to return and bless the pride once more.

This new group will be called Machinjo, or The Bloodshed, built upon the ideal that they would rid themselves of Finar-si's blood to bring forth a stronger combination of the other family member's as well. Though they do not wish to turn away all the teachings, they merely are looking to spread their strength, and build from where Finar-si disappeared. In their mind, Finar-si turned away from her own creations, and left her 'pawns' to die in the plague.

It would start out upon rumors, spread by a young God that loves the idea of Conflict and Manipulation. Baku, discovering Naraka and Ra on a nightly basis of exploration, decides to have some fun with the Firekin pride, and thus starts something no one can comprehend until it is too late. Learning of the teachings that filter through their young minds, Baku decides to push in the fact that there are other gods out there, mostly to show Finar-si that she can't hold on to her pride like she wanted. Soon, he would meet with other willing minds of the newborn cubs, and his manipulation would bring forth the next Firekin Civil War *

There still is a lot more to be posted, but you can chat here if you would like. Please, all thoes who might not like the idea, hear us out. We still are messing around with everything, so things might change. Instead of turning away, we invite thoes who dont like the idea to put in suggestions of their own. We will chat about it and make things happen, and hopefully this plot will come out even better than planned. Keep an open mind, and it will work out in the end <3

((Well, I know that I have planned for Khepri to travle to figure some things out. ^__^ So when she comes back maybe she can come back bearing the outlays of lion prides and wild dog packs and things like that. It would be easier for them if they knew where all of those were after all. And in her wanderings Khepri can make a mental note of each place to bring back. wink )) ninja

BTW, there is currently a plot being worked on that will involve the Firekin. Once I know the full details I'll post it here (Or there might be an interest thread up or going up? Note sure yet) but I don't htink it will interfere with what you have planned so far.
