Nin 1
Nin raised her head fromthe bucket she had been throwing up in. This was not a normal thing for her. She hated throwing up, as a rule. She felt so sorry for pregnant women who had it everyday...wait.
Could she be? How long had it been, she counted back slowly in her head. Oh, oh my! This meant children.
She and Kiyelt had been going steady for quite a few months, they had found a place on the coast that suited both of them and moved in.
Oh, how would she tell him?

Kiyelt 1
Kiyelt was content, passed out in the double hammock. Blissful, came to mind. His life now felt so full and so wonderful. Not a worry plagued him. He had two homes, a wonderful girl who completed him. What more in life could he want really?
A rustling caught his half asleep attention. Ah, Nin had come. He smiled and settled back, perhaps she would be interested in a little fun.
He heard her settle into the hammock, except that she did not settle, she continued to shuffle back and forth until he frowned at the frequency of it.
Strange.

She sighed then stuck a foot out to poke him. Rude b*****d for ignoring her. She stiffled a giggle. She was so twitter pated.
This man truly rocked her world, guardian, confident, loyal remover of all things scorpion. She drew the line at venomous, pokey, stabby things.
"Kiyelt?" she prodded him some more, making them both sway a little.
"I know ou are not sleeping."

Kiyelt moaned theatrically and reached out at a hand to captire her hammock.
"Do you know, I was sleeping but on top of that, I was dreaming, dreaming of you, me.... hammocks." He purred at her.
He hoped to at least make her laugh but the look she gave him was intense enough to make him pause.
"Nin?"

She bit her lip, unsure what to say.
"Well I just wanted to say I love you." It always made him smile when she said that.
She wished this wasn't so hard to say.
"Kiyelt, I well, I have been noticing things lately and I well.." her voice broke.
She, who loved to talk, couldn't even finish one sentence. She paused.

Kiyelt stared at her hard, trying to peice through her words to what he hoped, so hoped, she would say. He needed this. Unless she really meant something else, but otherwise why start out with I love you?
He was pretty sure she was not going to dump him.
"You can tell me Nin."
Pause
Your pregnant right?"

She blinked at him.
"Way to just come right out and say it Kiyelt."
She smiled and shook her head.
"I should have known you would figure it out, I've seen how you look at children."
He had this face, Beatific, angelic even, when he was looking at younglings, very obviously in awe of the miracle of life.
"You are so cute."

"Oh come on you know how much I love children, besides you have a certain glow about you, that you didn't have about a moon ago. Congrats Mama." He said before giving a whoop.
"Yes! I'm going to be a Dad!" He flailed a little in his hammock. This really was the best day ever.
He got up and joined her in her hammock.
"You are my saviour, you know that right?"
What was life without someone to share it with.

She sighed in contentment, all of her worries gone as he put his head on her chest. She stroked his hair and was amused at how his feet stuck out of the hammock.
He was so very manly that it made her feel feminine and ladylike by default.
She really enjoyed that feeling.
"I'm proud to be the Mother of your children." She felt like she had married a superstar.

He felt like he had just recieved cupid's arrow to the heart. How did she just know what to say. She was such a sweet, complicated creature.
"Nin my hear is only whole because of you, without your company alone, I would be a fool cast in a grey light. You make me more, you are my better half and I don't know what I would do without you."

Now she felt the sting of the arrow too.
He was too perfect, how had he chosen her after all?
Between all the people of Matori, Oba, Zena ad everywhere wlse., Kiyelt had chosen her to date, to attempt to fall in love with that most sacred bond, and they had fallen in love. It had been a gentle sweet courtship, very few fights and an adjustment to each other's communication skills to get them to the midway point at which individual personalities, resurfaced again.
Then she remembered why she had fell in love with him.

"What do you think we will get? A boy and a girl, a boy alone, twin girls, the possibilities are endless arn't they?"
As long as their child was healthy he would be over the moon happy, he couldn't wait to tell his family.
"Your Dad is goig to be happy for us right? I don't want him to skin me alive."

Nin chuckled, her adoptive Dad was a scary looking, handsome b*****d, she was so proud of that, even though to her it looked like Kiyelt could eat him alive.
"Daddy is not that scary, and he knows how much we love each other right?"
She snorted on the look on his face.
"We will be just fine, all three of us, or four as the case may be. Though triplets would be interesting."
Terrifyingly interesting but she felt like they could take it.

Kiyelt had a very zoned out look on his face as if imagining a family unit of their own mystical creation.
"You realize how hot our kids are going to be right?"
He was going ot need to bring out the whip he only used for war if he happened to have a daughter.
He would lay waste to all the small minded boys who would do her wrong.

"Yes I wager they will win whatever beauty contest is tossed at them," she smiled gleefully. They would have a large and illustrious family. She was determined. Hopefully by then Rista would have kids too.
The more the merrier. She was happy that what happened to her would not happen to her kids, there were plenty back up adults.
