The weather was beginning to turn.
As always in a place like Destiny City, it had been a long, hot summer, and he'd had little use for the graceful cloak the merchant had given him. Now, though, the nights had turned, and it was chill enough that he was grateful to have it settled around his shoulders. It was as warm and comforting as it had looked--warmer, even, and he expected he would be glad for it when temperatures plunged even further.
For now, though, it served as a fancy accessory and a little extra protection, as he leaned over the edge of a rooftop wall and watched his mirrorwraith dart through the shoppers below. A vague twinge of an Order aura prickled at his senses, but he didn't turn to it--it was someone weaker than him, so Elsa imagined he'd handle it just fine when the time came.sleet tempest snape we keep talking about it so i am doing it

When it came time...that assumed he gave enough shits to try and stop the dark mirror senshi and their wraith - which he didn't. He did however sense them as he was out and patrolling, drawing close enough to feel the aura he did give pause, this may or may not be a good thing for him. He was somewhere between both sides. He wore one uniform but he'd already assaulted someone else wearing the same uniform as himself, he'd betray his side, so he knew he had enemies on his side. But he still wore the uniform! That meant anyone who didn't know what he'd done, and who served chaos, would also see him as an enemy.
He really shouldn't be out, he knew it, and he knew Wolframite would not be pleased. But he was out and about. He'd just dropped a large box off on a roof top in fact, and he'd needed to power up in order to get it up there. It was packed full of everything he'd need once he changed sides, it was for Wolframite to take care of till then. He'd taken weeks to figure it all out, to gather everything, he feel comfortable enough to leave it there.
After a few moments of hesitating he did head towards the signature, or rather he headed closer to it. This was not the best of ideas, and he knew it, but he'd had worse ideas as well.

Elsa could feel the aura coming closer, and he made a soft "hm," leaning over and checking on his wraith. It looked fat and content, so he produced the shard from his bracer and whistled--not that the wraiths needed to be whistled to, of course, but it made him feel better to do it. It darted up and dove into the mirror shard, and Elsa tucked it away safely, then leaned away from the roof's edge.
He'd turned around, and was still lounging fairly casually, by the time the other Senshi arrived on the same rooftop as him. He gave a lazy little wave, and a casual grin.
"If you're here to stop me, I'm gonna advise against it; you're too late, I'm done draining, and you're not gonna get your hands on what I got. and if you wanna make an issue of it, I'll tell you up front: I'm Sailor Elsa of the Wendigo, and my magic will absolutely give you nightmares. Don't make an issue of it. Please."

"You assume I care enough to stop you." Came the senshi's response to the other, a shrug of his shoulders accompanying his words. His hands crossed over his chest, since he lacked the pockets to stuff his hands into, as he approached the other.
"If you think I care about your sphere - you're wrong. Though that is interesting...mines an icicle demon." Again he really didn't care and it was rather obvious, enough that a blind person would know how little he cared. It wasn't that he was out looking to get hurt, or didn't care if he did, it was just a general lack of ******** to give - to almost everything.
"And anyway...I don't plan on remaining in this uniform long." Plucking at it a bit to show what he meant as he spoke. "White isn't exactly my color. So if you think I care a bit about energy draining..I don't." Nope, not a single ******** to give really. He didn't want the person dead but beyond that he didn't much care, he didn't know them after all.

Elsa blinked, and he actually had to take a moment to reorient himself in the face of so much concentrated absolute apathy. It wasn't what he normally expected from Order Senshi--but if this one was planning to corrupt, well, that'd explain it. He supposed it was unlikely someone would join the Chaos side if they were morally opposed to energy draining.
"....Fair enough," he said, and he shrugged, looking the Sensih up and down. "Where are you planning to go, if you feel like sharing? Mirror or Negaverse? No particular judgement either way, both have their pluses and minuses."

Pulling down his collar he showed the scar there - bite marks. "The Negaverse - a captain has claimed me. He will be the one to brig me over...or the one to kill me. No one else has permission." Or he was sure Wolframite would kill whoever killed or corrupted him, he was sure the other was a possessive person. Letting go of his collar, so it could cover up the scar, he didn't much care if people saw it but he wasn't going to go about showing it off either. That was like some people he had as customers - showing off piercings and tattoos like some idiot children with a new toy to brag about and show to everyone.
"II just dislike that I was brought into this mess without a care and plunked onto a side without a choice in the matter. No clue about the side I was plunked down - if they're the least evil in the long run or what." And it seemed the Negaverse was the better option in the long run. He already had an obvious dislike for order and it was likely to grow over time. "It seems the Negaverse at least has some leadership, a clue what they're doing and will do if they win this disaster of a war, and that I'll take over a clueless bunch of idiots with no leadership to run things. That'll just be a mess if they win this war." No one to decide what to do if they wo and people scattering about to do who knows what - no thank you. Order lacked every bit of order possible as far as he could tell.

Elsa felt his eyebrows climb up, seeing the bite mark scar on Miyamoto's throat. That was some pretty intense devotion--and some pretty hardcore claiming. Kinda hot, in its way, though Elsa wasn't going to say that out loud, lest he risk offending the other Senshi. So instead, he grinned.
"Well, it's good to know who's gonna help you," he said, and he nodded. "I was lucky. When I was Awakened, I had my sister and our Princess, and the Court's pretty tight-knit. We've got our differences of opinion--how we feel about the Negaverse is a pretty big one--but we all work together, mostly. From everything I've heard, though? It's like you said. Order's a hot mess. A lot of good people over there, I'm sure, I even know a few," he thought of Metis, particularly, "but just a mess on the whole. I've always gotten on good with the Negaverse, though. I really respect what they've got going there, even if I'm real bad at listening to anybody in authority, so I'd be terrible for 'em."

"I won't claim to be the best with listening to authority either." Not with his lack of ******** to give, why would someone like him care what anyone told him to do? Unless it had a reason he agreed with he tended to not care really. "It's something I'm willing to learn in order to change sides and have my say in things finally." A choice which was snatched away from him...and something he was taking back, even if it was going to cost him. For that...order would pay.
"Order can freeze to death for all I care." Though he'd like to be a part of the cause for that, really he was starting to like the idea more and more. They were about to take his family and his life from him. All because he had to set things right for himself....to be on the right side, where he was comfortable. To feel comfortable he was going to give up so much...but at least he'd feel good where he was and he'd be on the right side.
"At least you don't have an issue with the Negaverse...perhaps that means we can work together in the future." Another potential friend once he changed sides? Was that what this was going to turn into...? It seemed like it and the normally introverted male wasn't too displeased with the idea, though he didn't know the other too well yet. At least his personality hadn't thrown them off or turned them away as it tended to do; no surprise there.
"I had just a cat there when I awakened. I'll have more when I change sides."

Elsa snorted, but he gave a brief nod. "Yeah, it takes practice, I'm sure. And a commitment to not telling people to ******** off, but that's always a work in progress." At least, it was for him, especially when it came to people he didn't particularly respect. Maybe that wasn't a problem, though--Miyamoto had a whole bite mark on his neck, like something out of a gloriously trashy werewolf romance, and so maybe all the respect necessary was already there.
Still, he let out a soft snort, and shook his head. The commitment to Order's destruction would serve Miyamoto well in the Negaverse, Elsa supposed. He'd gotten the impression they liked that kind of zealotry. It wasn't for him, really, but lots of things about the Negaverse weren't really for him. That was why he was thoroughly content to stay in the Dark Mirror.
"Hey, I'd be glad to work with you. It sounds like you've already got a pretty good network going, which is a step up from what Order gave you."

Mmm, the other was right. It was a work in progress but he wasn't progressing much, and it was slow, but it also didn't bother him in the slightest. He wasn't much for bowing to people simply because it was expected of him, it wasn't in his nature, he would respect people who earned it. Wolframite had earned it so far.
"I hope I do." He thought he did. He didn't need a lot of people, he never had, but he was going to need some people in his life especially now. He was still human. "I'll need it once I lose everything to right a wrong." It was why he would make order pay...they were taking everything from him and while he would gain his ability to choose it was with a cost.
"Since you get along with the Negaverse...tell me what you know of them and your side. I want to know as much as I can." Though he knew enough on the Negaverse he wanted someone elses opinion and he needed to know about the dark mirror court. It would, without a doubt, help him at some point.

Elsa nodded, frowning faintly.
"I don't know if I could do it. Change sides. You give up so much--and from what I know, we Dark Mirrors don't lose memories, so I'd just....remember my sister, and my friends, and everything, and I wouldn't be able to see them ever again." He shuddered. "Sounds awful." To say the least. Elsa hated the idea of abandoning who he was and what he had worked so hard to build.
"As for what I know....I'm only familiar with the Negaverse from the outside, like I said. I think they're ruthless and efficient, and I think that whatever it is they believe--which I'm only so privy to," he wiggled a hand, "most of them are pretty relentlessly devoted to it. They want a world they control, and they absolutely think they're in the right." He exhaled, and considered admitting that sometimes, he found that a bit frightening--but no, this wasn't the right audience for his doubts. "The Court and the NBegaverse...from what I know, we used to be a hundred percent allies, back when our founder, Queen Ares, was still around? But Ares is gone now, Princess Leto and Prince Remarque are running the show, and the Negaverse kicked our alliance to the curb. A lot of my fellows aren't nearly as positively inclined towards the Negaverse as I am--they see them as zealots and fanatics, willing to step on other people to get where they want to go. I...don't know that that's wrong, but. My personal one on ones with officers have always gone pretty well. I get the impression I'm an outlier in that, though."

"I don't know what I'll forget or remember. It isn't my choice." And he didn't know which would be worse..powered or civilian, though he figured civilian would be worse to forget....but how bad to remember at the same time. "I can't avoid what the cat did to me...so I have to change it. The cost is high, I know, I just boxed up my life - the important things. I left them for someone to return top me once I change sides." So he could pick up the pieces of himself and try to rebuild and remember, if he needed to. It was something which he'd been emotional over since he'd decided on his choice of path, since he'd started deciding what he would need to take with him. It felt so final...perhaps like someone felt when they were about to die and had to leave things for others. Wasn't he doing similar? Leaving things for someone else - for a new him?
"Perhaps you are a outlier...maybe not. I think the Negaverse has a plan and leadership...the ability to keep each other safe and best train it's members. I don't trust order if they win. Senshi will scatter and do whatever they please to those who lost...and what about civilians? What about governments? They don't have an answer. As far as Wolframite told me..things will continue as normal for civilians and governments. It will best keep people safe...and I doubt officers will do as they please, without order, if they win." There would be less chaos if they won, once it was all said and done with. It sounded safer for everyone in the long run.
"I dislike that order is making me give up so much so that I can join the side I would have chosen had I been given a choice to start with. For that....they'll pay. But the dark mirror court...I think I can be friends with. A small group...it sounds like, from what you say, a close group that are tight knit. I like that." He could support that and work withy Elsa.
"We should walk together and talk. Staying in one place for me isn't good. I already attacked a senshi in front of many other senshi and knights...I doubt anyone who knows would pass u pa chance to kill me."

Elsa listened, thoughtfully, and considered. But first things first--he pushed himself off the wall, and considered. "I don't think we'd blend in too well in the crowd down there, but we can keep to the rooftops. And if anyone attacks...like I said, nasty nightmare magic. I'll make them regret it very, very much." Elsa grinned, in a way that was a little bit eager. He didn't get into fights as a civilian anymore. He'd worked hard to control his anger.
But as a Senshi? If someone attacked him and Miyamoto, that made them fair prey.
So, he started for the edge of the rooftop.
"I think you're right. I think that the Negaverse--and the Mirror, honestly--has some of the best organization. And, y'know, I think it's because someone has to help you Awaken. A cat can't just throw a pen at you and ******** off, you have to have someone there to corrupt you. My Princess. A General. A General-Sovereign. and we've got rules, and bonds. Order is..." Elsa shook his head. "A bunch of loosely affiliated assholes in white who think they're the heroes. And y'know, maybe cosmically they are." He thought of Altea, driven to madness by the Chaos Seed of Mirrorspace, and shivered briefly. "But that doesn't matter when they can't even take care of their people."
He considered the angle, then leapt, and when he landed on the next building, he beckoned for Miyamoto to follow.

"No, we would stand out. But we can walk across the roof tops." Though he didn't have a lot of experience it was worth learning, it was something he'd need no matter which side he was on. "I don't know exactly what my magic does. Something emotional or mental though." But exactly what he didn't know. He wasn't going to use it on someone and then ask...it didn't work that way really ,since he used it on people for a reason - and it wasn't to ask questions about it.
"I don't know about them being assholes." Watching the other jump he followed suit, landing far less gracefully than the other. But he did land. "But I will say they do seem rather loosely joined. It's not a good idea in a war." Shrugging as he motioned the other to lead the way. He'd follow.

Elsa nodded, as Miyamoto explained. "I know what mine does because I had it turned on me, back when I was just figuring things out." A dry laugh passed his lips. "It ******** me up so bad,l I couldn't use it for a while. Kept trying to cast and just...panicking, because I really didn't want to inflict it on anybody. But I worked it out for myself."
He stretched, and glanced down at the crowd below. Still milling, good.
"And I suppose you're right. Assholes is a little mean. Like I said, I've met good people on both sides. But Order is a hot mess." He started walking, trusting that Miyamoto would follow. "Anyway, wherever you end up? It should be your choice. And I'm glad you're getting to make it."
With that, he moved to the edge of the next rooftop. "Come on. I'll show you some neat tricks." With that, he vaulted over, and led Miyamoto deeper into the night.
