Bio: Born in a middle range village, Alex never personally saw the ongoing war between the Naarvūl and its many surrounding Inhuman neighbors, but he saw so many of the consequences, people displaced from their homes, deprived of basic sustenance to fuel the ever-growing war effort. A war effort that eventually led to Alex being drafted into the King's army. Since he was drafted Alex has earned many, many scars. More importantly, however, Alex has earned a reputation. He always gets his teammates home, alive, and in fighting condition. What's more, Alex has been documented as continually leaping into the fray of battle to defend civilians, on both sides. This has caused some friction between himself, and some of his superior, his unwavering dedication to defending those who cannot defend themselves is unquestioned. And it is that reputation, that has earned him a summons by the King... Extra: Alex has gotten into trouble with his superiors several dozen times for interfering in the executions of inhuman noncombatants. When dealing with animals and those that are part animal Syn only slightly stutters and behaves as if he is shy. When dealing with humans, you will see a completely different version of Syn. You will see him become shy, start stuttering more or just not speaking, or even becoming slightly withdrawn. The one and only exception to that is when he is confronted with someone he finds extremely attractive. If someone who he finds extremely attractive is in front of him, it is almost as if there is someone controlling his body and mannerisms. He will become confident and sure of himself, he will be able to speak precisely and clearly and will even be able to flirt with that person. The only other exception is for the man that he views as a father. When speaking to Michael Fellsin, Syn is able to talk to him with minimal stuttering. Bio: When Syn was just a baby he had been found abandoned in a house by the man he now knows as father. The male had been out on a mission, you see he had been a paladin at the time, when he had come across Syn as a baby, crying and alone. After being found by Michael Fellsin, Syn was raised as his own child. Not long after finding Syn, Michael Fellsin left his position as a paladin and became a priest in one of the small towns within the human kingdom. Years went by and as Syn got older he became bullied by the older boys of the town. He was attacked while fetching something for his father, he was hit with stones while going about his daily chores. But what really caused some of them older boys to start bullying him was when Syn had showed his interest in one of them. It was around that time when his father started to notice that he was becoming more and more lustful. Not wanting to risk losing his son, because the men in the town would have killed him, he ended up making Syn take a vow of chastity. Being raised as a son to a priest, Syn has a strong sense of faith and honor. And because of that, when he made his vow of chastity, he knew he would never break his vow until marriage. At least he wouldn't break it intentionally. After making that vow, life for him became better but worse. He was forced to control his urges and natural feelings, while now being made fun of and bullied for not bedding a woman or two. At this point in his life, Syn is now 25 and is still living with and working the land him and his father live on, tending to the grounds at the small church his father was a priest at. Extra: Syn has two mixed breed dogs. Both of them are Siberian Husky mixed with Wolf. Syn uses his dogs as support dogs. One is specifically for emotional support, stemming from the emotional abuse those in the small town put him through. The other is used for the anxiety and trauma he suffers from, some from the physical abuse he was put through by those in his town, and some from a time before he could remember anything. Name: Melody Rinselm Aliases: Ruby Wraith Age: 27 Gender: Female Sexuality: bicurious Height: 5'2 Race: human Role: chosen Powers: equipment summoning, durability, nigh-immortality, shadow magic (mostly weaving, allows her to pull enemies towards her or control the battlefield, and enhance her strength to immense levels, but has no direct damaging attacks) Weaknesses: The stronger her emotions, the larger her weapon becomes. If she loses control, she loses the ability to use her equipment. Her immortality is linked toward a strict regeneration: Every day at midnight, she revitalizes. Beyond this, the only real strength she has is in durability. She can take a blow, and cannot be killed in a way that matters... but most of her actual combat comes from controlling the battlefield and pure strength of arms empowered by shadow magic- she doesn't have any damaging magic. Personality: Cautious is a word that describes Melody fairly well. She is constantly wary of losing control of her emotions and wreaking havoc. Therefore, she is often quick to pull out some tea and cool down before acting, thinking critically. This is useful, considering she doesn't have much beyond summoning equipment and persistence. Bio: Melody was born to a small farming village, and was raised by her parents to be a dependable young woman, but ended up being rather rash. It wasn't uncommon for her to speak before acting, and it tended to worry her parents. One day, a noble took a rather large liking, and demanded her hand, offering large sums of money if her parents accepted... and potential threats if they did not. They said it would be up to Melody.
Melody loved her family, but had no interest in basically being sold to be the pet of some noble. She adamantly refused... And the noble attempted to brand her and her family as collusionists with the sins- and tried to have her family executed. In a fit of rage, melody summoned a massive greatsword, cleaving through the noble... but was shot by an archer, and killed... Or they thought.
Come midnight, she rose again, and was horrified at this revelation- it made her question if she was truly even human anymore. This horror grew when she found her parents hanged as traitors. By chance, an embassador for the king had been in town at the moment, and when he realized the amazing power she wielded- observing her wounds healing over the course of the day, despite being dead... and then seeing her again at midnight, requested that she come with him to the capital- the king would want to see her.
With no other purpose or knowledge of what to do from here, she followed suit... and the king named her one of his chosen to fight against the seven sins. She holds no personal ill against them, however she doesn't really know what else to do. It helps that the kingdom is sponsoring her in so many ways, and even promised to help her learn more about what her powers truly entail, if she were to help put her powers to the test against the seven. Now, she waits, not knowing when or how the battle will begin... but readying herself for when her time comes. Extra: While she does enjoy tea, she has a major sweet tooth. She is still somewhat young, and as such some don't think she's important or strong. He is a soldier, and follows orders to a T. He is completely loyal to the human cause, and until convinced to not do so, will definitely take out the Sins. Bio: Lyn was an experiment for Jordan, to see how far he could take a soldier before they broke completely. He found that Lyn was strong, and breaking him had been difficult, but he managed it. And now he had a supremely loyal soldier, willing to do anything that Jordan wanted. Lyn is willing to sacrifice everything to make sure that the Sins perish, wanting nothing more than to please his King. He doesn't hold his own desires beyond that, and wouldn't know what to do with them if he had desires. His most prized possesion is actually his pet, and he takes excellent care of it. Name: Duana Hammerpike Aliases: Dua to very close friends Age: About 24 Gender: Female Sexuality: Males Height: 5"9' Race: Human Role: The King's Chosen Powers: Fire mage, can turn to flame if necessary Weaknesses: She can be doused with water. Personality: Duana can be abrasive, and a little short tempered sometimes. But she's fiercely protective of those that she deems worthy of her friendship. Bio: She comes from a little village that is known for its inhabitants' skill with blacksmithing. She didn't have the necessary skills for it, instead turning to fire magic. She learned her craft quickly and seeks other ways to improve. The King recruited her, hearing that she was an excellent mage, and wanted her to go along with the group. She's not sure about killing the sins, having heard the prophecies from long ago. She's found that many different races don't believe that the humans have it together, that they don't have their hearts in the right place. But she's still bound by her oath. Personality: Strict but sweet, Sue is a diligent worker that upholds good ethics. However she can be a bit shy around new people. She valiantly advocates her oath of compassion: "aid others, protect the weak, and punish those who threaten them. Show mercy to your foes, but temper it with wisdom." Bio: Blessed into the noble house of Vredida, Sulahlil is the youngest and only daughter of the family. Her father, commander of the Rue Paladins, was appalled at first that his daughter was interested in studying knighthood. However, Sue worked hard to change his mind. A well constructed argument about how she wished to uphold her family's honor and strength softened her father's heart and he took her under his wing. She's been serving under him and training hard with her brothers. The young woman has taken an interest to medicine as well. Her abilities to help heal others has made her curious about brewing medicinal remedies she can give to those in need. Being chosen by the king has brought a huge honor to her household. While she wonders why her eldest brother wasn't picked for the job, her heart is set on following her oath through and through. She will protect the weak from the evils. Extra:
Currently, Sue is taking lessons from a doctor to become a better healer. Her father and brothers have all taught her how to use a Great Sword. While she typically dons full plate armor for battle, she loves wearing pretty dresses.

Spells help me to awaken and channel my power for any number of tasks, it is not necessary that I use them though. ✹I am able to decipher any text, language or code. This proves especially useful when I want to learn a new spell. ✹I can share my abilities with one person, in doing so they become bound to me for eternity and share my lifespan. I also become linked with them and we may, at times, feel what the other is experiencing. Weaknesses:✹As I said, magic is in my blood. If I over use it, I become very tired. If someone were to use my magic against me? The results wouldn't be pretty. ✹Everything in moderation, right? I tried to learn too many things at once as a youth. Spoke gibberish for a good month while my brain played catch up to process all of the new information. In other words, too much solving turns my brain to mush...or me to mush while my brain works, I guess? ✹Again, one person only. Shared lifespan and all that, plus the feelings. One and done, so it has to be the right one. Personality: I refuse to use the word 'accident' when it comes to my actions. If I do something, whether it is good or bad, it's because I want to. I don't believe in fate and I never will. Where's the fun in life when everything is preordained? I live to entertain, but I won't let you boss me around. There are exactly two people in the world with that privilege and you are, most definitely, not one of them. I am exactly who I want to be, I won't change without a good reason to do so. I love to have fun and hate when things get serious. I'm also a curious person when I encounter new things. I can be stubborn when it comes to things I want to do, but I will listen to other peoples inputs. Oh and, just in case you thought otherwise, I am a kind person. It takes a lot to get under my skin and even then I am pretty good at hiding it. If I do decide to get back at someone I guarantee that it will be in a unique way though. Bio: I'm an escape artist. Those tricks always fascinated me, and so, I decided to try it on my own. I suppose it wasn't the best idea, considering I was only five when I started, but oh well. It's what I wanted to do. My parents had no problem with my passion though. They were an act all their own, you see. Mom was a magician. A true one, mind you. Dad's talents, on the other hand, were on the high ropes. His sense of balance was impeccable. When you combined their abilities...well, let's just say you missed out by not seeing them. They were daring, spectacular, the greatest act in our troupe and, I believed, the universe. I never let the other kids in our cirque live it down either. My parents were the best and I wanted everyone to know it.
That was the world I grew up in; always on the move and surrounded by breath-taking spectacles. It was amazing, really, and one was never mistreated for having an 'overactive imagination.' How could you be accused of such things when you saw death defying stunts performed everyday? Things that shouldn't have been possible to perform? No, imagination was the very foundation upon which our lives were built. It was our job to prove that the impossible could be done, that there was no limit to what one could accomplish once they set their mind to something. We were imagination given life and form.
The first time I saw an escape artist at work, that's an experience I'll never forget. Even as I sat there fearing for his life and the grizzly sight which could potentially unfold, I could not draw my gaze away from him. It was mesmerizing, every second which passed seemed to take exceptionally long and disappear within an instant at the same time. I was ecstatic to have witnessed such a feat and I will never forget the feeling it gave me. I want to make other people experience those emotions, that's why I became what I am.
I wasn't dumb enough to just dive in and try those death defying acts first by the way, I started small. I would ask someone to tie me up with rope, or chain me up with something and then see how fast I could get out of those. Each time I mastered one thing, I would move on to whatever the next hardest thing was. I still practiced all of the ones I mastered though, didn't want my skills to get rusty after all. I started creating my own feats once I knew enough. Mom and dad would help me with that sometimes. By the age of ten, I had my own little part in our show. I loved that, what kid wouldn't? All good things must come to an end though...
I loved our life, wouldn't have given it up for the world, but there were others who did not share my viewpoint. Plus, mom and I were different...too different. I guess you could say mom is a mixed breed, one of her grandparents was some other race. I forget which one now, but because of that...we're immortal. Dad wasn't, not initially anyway. Mom had mixed feelings about making him like us. 'It's a gift,' she said, 'but also a curse.' She didn't want to make him suffer like we would. He finally convinced her a little while before our cirque disbanded, but I understand where she was coming from. I don't know what I'll do when I'm faced with the same situation. Moving on...
Mom, dad, and I continued to perform at our leisure as we travelled. Sure, we had 'seen the world' during our time with the cirque, but it was different being able to explore as we wished. A couple of years after we started traveling, I was called on to become one of the King's Chosen. It's an honor, I think, probably not the most enjoyable thing I'll do, but I do have a rather unique skill set, so why not? Extra: As I mentioned before, I'm immortal. I am allowed to choose when I stop aging. If my partner is younger than me they will keep growing older until they reach my age, if they are older they will revert back to their form at my age. This is at the equivalents, of course.
