Little time had passed since the battle. It was the first of many bright stars in her performances to come, of that she felt sure. Of course that meant that she had something else to tackle. Becoming the next Champion. Aldusa was driven by the recent events to find someone to try her paw at dueling. That someone was Einarr.
Approaching an agreed upon location she felt her insides tingle with excitement, fur on her spine bristle and her tail twitch in a warm wag. Her eyes were forward and alert as she awaited her opponent. Then the fun could begin.

 Einarr might be a Monster Hunter, but there was one more title that he was determined to win, especially since he botched his chance to slay the devil of a beast that had injured his mother so terribly. The Brand of the Champion. He was determined to get it and luckily he had found himself an opponent willing to duel him. He approached Aldusa, knowing better than to think that he had the upper hand in this battle. As his mate, Silke, had proved during her fight with against his mother's attacker... females were to be feared just as much as their male counter parts.
"Thank you for accepting my challenge, Aldusa." He told her with a smile as he approached. "I'm sure this shall be a worthwhile fight for both of us, though it will be I to win five duels and become the first Champion of the Fallguard." He boasted. "Shall we start this?" He asked, with a glint in his eye.((You can roll first. heart I'm excited to see how this plays out! Sorry for the delay in my posting. sweatdrop ))

"You seem so confident." She smiled wickedly in his direction. "Do you forget yourself?" Aldusa wasn't normally one to wield her successes in such ways, but as she recalled the battle herself.. she had indeed made more of an impact. She fell silent, choosing not to speak further for a moment - remembering that it was his mother who had been attacked. She knew the family only through her parents, and so aside from that little bit of knowledge she was unarmed.
"Let's begin." Her tone became flat, but a fire lit in her eyes as she spoke. She'd go into this with the same principals as anything. Do it to the fullest of her ability, not a thread below. This meant lunging forward in a partially calculated effort to catch Einarr off guard.

Einarr's smile fell away and he let out a low growl.
"I forget nothing." He assured her. He would prove himself through this battle and any following it. He would continue to prove himself while he could and he would do anything to make up for the battle he had lost when it truly mattered.
When she announced that they were beginning, he was successfully caught off guard, reeling back before he lunged forward himself. He had to do better than this! He had to get at least one hit in, after the disaster against the berserker.
