The Fold fell away from her head as the moonlight seemed to fade into the distance behind her. The night was over and the day was starting and so too was the Trial. Allowing her gaze to wander, the scant area that she could see without moving, her tail planted on the ground. This was going to be a long day, Star Skunk could already feel it in her gut, she hadn't really eaten anything since before meeting up with Hidden Fox. She was sure her belly would be growling louder then a bear when this was over...
As the day progressed, Star Skunk watched those that came into her line of vision, though she could feel those passing behind her. Paws brushing against her fur as they went or the laughter of a pup whom ran playfully before its mother. Skunk could feel the muscles under her fur bunch as she wanted to rush out and play with them, but she couldn't. As much as she wanted to, silently whining to herself, more mentally then anything she watched them pass from sight. Others came and went, a couple females offered her water or something to eat, Skunk had to admit to herself that she could have used both, but she refused by merely closing her eyes as if to ignore them.
Rest of the time was quiet, Star Skunk was quiet. Her thoughts turned to Hidden Fox, the den that they would create for themselves. The pups that might come in the future for them and the progression of the pack. There was also the thought of maybe, just maybe someday of having a ball of feathers of her own, it would be nice, right? Someone who might even torment Fox's companion, this brought a giggle to her thoughts. So many things to think about, the future held no limits to what could/would happen.
"Time is up, Big Bad awaits' said one of the guards that had sat around all day with her. The other had remained silent though the whole interaction.
Glancing towards the skies, the sky had grown dark while she was lost in her own thoughts and had started to grow light again. It seemed that she had passed? Though she didn't really remember the day passing so quickly, she had been awake, just lost in thought. Frowning slightly she glanced around before really moving from her spot. She wondered if Hidden Fox was about, but it seemed that she had to greet the pack leader first. Swallowing down the fear that had started to well, she could do this, it was for Fox. She didn't know if she could live anywhere else without her Heart. Following the guard towards where the much larger Pack leader was. She stopped and took him in, he was imposing, fearsome too.
"I am Star Skunk, I had come to request acceptance into your Pack, to be with my Heart, Hidden Fox. Also to take up rank as one of your scouts. To be another set of ears and eyes for the pack and all withing." Star Skunk said with as much confidence as she could muster. It was all or nothing now, all in the paws of the Leader of the Crows.
