Sweet, air-headed, strong, and full of pure dumb luck. Those are the things that come to mind when people talk about Yoshiro. With both of his parents being teachers, most would expect him to excel in academics; however, he has proven to be a complete educational flop. Its not to anyone's fault in particular; he was just born with a learning disability that was further worsened by Japan's stigma against seeking psychological help. But a boy can get by in school without good grades for the most part. What he lacks in the mind he makes up for physically. When he was in middle school, Yoshiro was the star player for his school's baseball team.

Yoshiro is one of the few kids in school who knows their life will be one of a small time middle class job and has accepted his fate.
■ POSSIBLE DRAMA
Having bad grades is pretty normal for Yoshiro, and because of that he often finds himself at odds with authority like teachers and principals. While he often has immensely good luck at avoiding the inevitable, of course the inevitable has to come eventually. Be it an exasperated teacher looking to teach the poor boy how to do math or the vice principal looking to cut off the lowest performing student in the class, there's a lot of hot water that can come his way.
On top of this, he's still a wanted player on everyone's sports team. Why he would join a club as seemingly mundane as what seems to be reminiscent of Breakfast Club is anybody's guess. Either way, they want him out of that club and in their team. Some jocks, like the kendo kids, are much more outward and violent in their recruiting tactics than others.
