Everyday was great to have a brother, his twin was his everything, they complimented each other and amplified the effect both had to dangerous levels. It was hard to contain as much awesome as they were but well they tried their best.
He idolized his Dad and he worshipped his sweet, wonderful Mother, but an identical twin was something else. Lynx and Iexa were inseperable. They only rarely argued but when they did it was epic. More often than not they would work seamlessly to get stuff done.

Lynx yawned widely and scratched the back of his head as he moved over to his twin. He was still tired but that was fairly normal for him. Lynx wasn't a morning person and didn't get his energy until mid-day. "Iexa I'm hungry. Wanna go pick some fruit?" Of course they could just go ask their parents for something to eat but that was no fun and it didn't guarantee that he got something sweet and juicy.

Iexa smiled cheerfully at his sleepy brother, he woke up naturally in mid morning and he woke up cheerful, until someone spoiled his day, but Lynx was a tad more nocturnal. "The red spikey ones maybe? They have the coolest tree." He did love food, especially that which they harvested, there was more reward for effort then getting fed whatever was put on one's plate. "Where do you think Mom and Dad are?" It did them well to keep tabs on overly interested parents. Maybe they would have more kids soon and he and Lynx would have a good distraction.

He rubbed his eyes as his brother mentioned a specific fruit then nodded his head. That sounded good to him. And cool trees were fun to climb. "That sounds okay."
When Iexa asked him about where their parents were he dropped his hands to his sides and looked around for a second. He didnt see them but judging by the time he figured where they might be. "Da is probably working. Ma might be swimming for pearls."

In other words, plenty of time to get into all kinds of different projects without their parents getting too curious about the odd silence. With time to spare for random events and were not those always the best ones too. His mind was already whirring. Some tree climbing maybe a dash of snorkeling some investigating. "Oh hey, I met this girl the other day, she seems cool. Kind of a hard shell to crack initially but you know me."

Lynx blinked and paused to look at his brother. The fact that he mentioned a girl made him raise a brow curiously. "Oh?" It had to be one of the rare times when the two didn't go out together. What had he been doing? Lynx tried to remember if that was when he was with their mom and she was doing his hair. "What's she like?" A tough shell to crack sounded fun.

Heras Box I double posted so I had to delete a post. "Well when I first met her she was pretty stuck up but once she realized I was a smart one she warmed up well enough. I get the sensation that she can be cold and calculating. Not a dumb one but maybe too sneaky for her own good if she ever got put up to something." He adored reading people. It was a gift.

He listened to his brother as he moved along to find the tree he mentioned for the fruit. Lynx was still hungry so he was more focused on that than anything else. "Sounds kinda interesting." He blinked a few times then turned to smile at Iexa. "Can we steal her? Don't think Da and Ma will mind. They like us plenty." Having someone else around to hang out with would be fun. And maybe having a sister would be cool. He turned his attention back to the trees so he could zero in on the one with the fruit.

"We definitely could, we just need to make it so her Dad doesn't look for her, like maybe shes at camp or something, I have caught a glimpse of him once or twice really really scary looking guy." If they could make this work, life would be more fun, the more the merrier. For real though, they needed something new. Some spice. "How should we tell him?"

He found the tree he wanted to climb and started to do so. His goal was the fruit on the low hanging branch and he stuck his tongue out with effort. When he heard his twin ask him how they should tell the guy that they were going to steal his daughter he paused just long enough to look down at Iexa. "We could always just tell him that she's gonna stay with us for a while so he can go adventuring while our parents look after her. Izaiah's dad left him with his aunt like that so he could go to Tale." Since Izaiah was their neighbor he knew what had happened, it also helped he had over heard what his mother had told their father about the situation.

"I bet that would work." Iexa shimmied up near his brother and reached for his own fruit.
This way would be amenable to all he was sure. Her dad did look faintly worried that she didnt have that many friends.
It was just because she was a bit too smart and cunning to be regular run of the mill kind of friend. She would be quite impressive one day. He hooed he got to see it. He was also curious of how she would react to his twin. It wasnt every kid who had an identical twin after all.

He was busy stretching out his arm to get his target and he grinned. "Yeah. Isn't that what all parents worry about?" Lynx could see their parents wanting to go off adventuring buy wanting someone to watch them. Of course they had lots of aunts and uncles that could do that. Not to mention grandparents. "I'm sure Nana wouldn't mind cooking for one more when she comes to visit." He was referring to their mother's mom since she was the cook.

Iexa patted his belly. "It would take a hoard of more than three younglings to slow Nana down at all nothing is faster than her spoon." He whispered..."Nothing."
Having his brither in on the plan automatically made it more exciting and hopefull. Lynx was a resource worth his weight in spoils. He was the best brother ever.
He stuffed himself with more fruit. "This is so good, why doesnt everyone do this in the morning? Hmm maybe they get to old to climb."
"I wonder if Oba has trees big enough to climb or if they all just get barbiecued in the sun."

He nodded his head and agreed with his twin about their Nana. Her cooking was really good. And she always joked that it was how she snagged their grandpa. With the fruit in hand and some extra that he happened to be in reach of, he made his way back down to the ground before he started to eat. "They probably get fried in the sun. Dried fruit isn't bad but I like them juicy." Lynx looked up at his brother as he took a big bite of his food.
