Homeworld Visit Date: 08/16/2020 He hadn't planned for it to happen this way, if anything he had assumed that he'd selected a quiet place for them to train. However within twenty minutes of arriving the little beetle shaped keyring strapped to his sash had made an alarming chirp. Something was here and his Mauvian had spotted it from deep within the peculiar little bunker he had built underneath Athalia's home.
Chaos.
Chaos, and lots of it.
In different circumstances Athalia may have taken the challenge head on, but with his own hand in a sorry state from a less than favourable encounter with a rather strong captain, and Virginaterese in his company... It simply wasn't a risk that he was willing to take. It was one thing to throw yourself in to danger and quite another thing to donate another's life to the cause without their permission, especially if they might not be ready for it yet.
"Time to go," he remarked as he finally caught sight of the 'swarm' of black that had causes his trinket to light up. He couldn't make out what it was, but given the speed it was moving at he didn't have much time to anyway. Instead, he simply lifted his good hand to press it against Vir's shoulder, took a single large breath and focused.
One single command was all it took.
It would heed him. It needed to heed him.
...And it did.
The world they were all too familiar with vanished before them and in its place, a flicker of darkness as they were propelled through oblivion and deposited in somewhere much more foreign. He could thank lady luck for the good fortune on this one, for once he hadn't been deposited from a height and instead they would both find themselves with their feet firmly on the ground, greeted only by the stiffened and otherwise petrified foliage that coated the jungle they were in.
The air was still of course, but heat had returned to the planet and by now, the man was familiar with some of its features. He might have landed in a slightly different part of the jungle, but at least he knew roughly where he was.
A brief check about him was made, if only to confirm that by some dire luck something hadn't managed to join them for a right, but the only thing that greeted him was a familiar silence and the occasional whisper of crumbling leaves...They were safe for now, and he was grateful for that, even if he was a touch worn out. Evidently the senshi wasn't entirely accustomed to bringing others with him on these little jaunts.

Virginiaterese had been more than happy to join Athalia for more training today. He'd picked a spot so much closer to where she lived this time and she was able to scoot right out the door just as soon as he'd sent her the text. She was determined to do better than before. She'd practiced her punches, kept her eyes open each time, and watched at least a hundred different martial art's tutorials on Youtube. There was no way that she could not be more ready and confident in her abilities than she was that day.
... So, Athalia would have to forgive her for looking as upset as she was right now.
In fact, it looked as though she were experiencing several different emotions at once by the way her face contorted and twisted every few seconds. Frustration, confusion, fear, awe, bewilderment, and everything in between, all in the span of a moment. The senshi's features did eventually settle on wide-eyed and disturbed, but only as she processed that her feet were on the ground and they were in some kind of jungle. ... Ever so slowly, did Virginiaterese turn her head to look at Athalia.
"...W-where are we?" She stuttered. God, it felt like her very soul had left her body and came crashing back into her. Was it obvious that she was shaking? "Did you just... Teleport us to a jungle?"Epine de Rose Virginiaterese.exe has stopped working, please reboot.

Athalia hadn't necessarily thought much of what he'd done, he had been operating under the assumption that after a certain period of time all senshi tended to visit their source. With his back turned he hadn't necessarily realised that he'd caused that much distress and it was only as he turned round at her incredulous stutter than he took into account that she may not have responded quite as well as one might expect.
Was she shaking?
"We are," he glanced upwards just to confirm his own bearings and took a breath. "On Athalia," he replied after a moment. He was still a touch tired, it often took some time to recover after he employed that method of travel, but weariness aside he was in perfect health and it seemed apt to take care of the poor senshi he appeared to have overwhelmed. It had all been unintentional of course, but perhaps he would have to re-evaluate his assumptions regarding senshi and their inclinations to explore.
"And we are in a jungle, yes," he continued before motioning gently with his hand for her to follow. There was something unusual about the clouds above them, something he hadn't quite seen before and in the given circumstances it didn't seem appropriate to investigate what they might represent. Instead, it seemed like a smarter decision to take shelter and where they were meant that, if he had his bearings were correct, they were near one of the sanctuaries he had come to recognise.
...Actually, it was the only sanctuary he currently recognised.
"It's dead by the way, there's nothing here except you and I," he added reassuringly. The same way all of our planets are," he explained. He was unaware that over the course of his visits something was coming to life, that hope might brim underneath the surface, and that would be both a discovery and a story for another time.
"Shelter would be advised though, there may not be anything here but I'm not entirely sure I would trust the weather system," he admitted.

On Athalia. All of our planets. Virginiaterese gawked incredulously. Had something gone wrong with his head? Did he lose half of his brain somewhere along the way to... Wherever it was they were right now? If she had been tall enough to reach she would have checked his forehead for a fever, but instead she found herself utterly dumbfounded. She clapped her hands into a prayer position and tilted them toward him.
"Listen," She said, taking a deep breath in as she spoke. "I don't know what that was and if it gave you some kind of brain injury, because I'm not a doctor and I, legally, can't tell... But you, right here-" She moved to try and pat him on around the shoulder area. "Are Athalia. I am Virginiaterese. We live in Destiny City. We are senshi. We fight against the forces of chaos."
Or at least they would be if he hadn't teleported them away from the battle. She could grumble about that more later. She took another, slow, deep, breath in through her nose, and let it out.
"Shelter? Okay. But I think you should sit down and relax a bit." She continued, glancing up to the sky. What? Did he think it was going to rain? She shook her head. "I may not know where we are, but if there's one way to signal that you need help, it's to build a fire and make a flare. Being in scouts taught me that. I'm sure if we stay put and keep our wits about ourselves, we'll survive until help arrives, okay?"

he regarded her carefully for a few moments, if only to let her have the opportunity to express herself and perhaps process that he did, in fact, have all his faculties. When that wasn't forthcoming he lifted his fist and promptly smacked it against the branch beside him; a branch that immediate disintegrated in to fine dust. His brow lifted, but it was with a brief flicker of pain that he'd realised he'd used the wrong hand to demonstrate his point.
Ow.
"Light a fire with what fuel?" he asked calmly.
"I am aware my name is Athalia, where do you think that name came from?" he asked, turning to walk away from the young woman. She may not have been concerned by what was above them, but he was. This was new to him, the weather had been nothing more than a mild breathe, a singular gasp of 'life' on an otherwise still planet until now and a tumultuous set of clouds was something he did not want to be under when he didn't know what they did.
At least the delicately petrified foliage didn't pose much resistance as he pressed through them, shards tumbling into nothing more than dust on contact as he cut himself a path.
He at least moved with purpose, eventually parting the leaves enough to break through the denser part of the jungle. It was at that point that he managed to expose the thing he'd been looking for. Before him in the depths of what looked like a caldera, rested a pyramid of monumental scale. Four monoliths stood at either corner, and more intriguing, was the second pyramid that seemed to have fallen on its side nearby.
He seemed largely unimpressed by it at this point in his life, having discovered it on a previous expedition he had gotten used to the fact it was 'there', even if he remained curious as to what purpose it served and what it's prone brother might also have been part of. All he knew was that it had a large entryway and the last time he'd been there, it hadn't had any doors to bar passage.
He turned back to her a smiled.
"I promise I'll sit down once we're inside," he offered and waved a hand. "Then I imagine it should be safe for you to look for something to burn," he added gently.
Eventually she'd work her way through this process, it would at some point dawn on her that she and Toto weren't in Kansa anymore... But he'd at least give her a little more time before he snapped his fingers in front of her eyes and at least tried to guide her towards the realisation that this was a thing.Bouquet of Diamonds Lmao. xD Vir ILU right now, I can just picture his face so well at the moment and it's something akin to the office stare.

Virginiaterese's first thought was to brandish a look of utter disbelief and shout, with definitive passion, that he'd obviously gotten the name from his parents the day he was born. However, as her mind brought attention to the fact that her parents had named her Siobhan and not Virginiaterese, the poor girl couldn't help but exist in silent frustration for a moment. He absolutely had a point there. Why did they have these names? What did they mean? Why hadn't she ever stopped to consider that herself?
Her face made several journeys while she, more or less, followed Athalia as he made his way through the foliage. The crumbling plants unsettled her, but she wasn't sure if the way Athalia seemed so casual about it outweighed that or not. Also, why was he so darn comfortable navigating this place? It was almost like he'd been here befo-
She froze, the pyramid catching her completely off guard. Again, Athalia was unphased, completely casual, like this wasn't something out of an indie horror film. See, this was where the stupid group of unwelcome tourists got their heads impaled or rounded up for the annual sacrifice to the dark lord of blood and massacre, and it gave her all kinds of danger signals. Earth to Athalia? Hello? Maybe going inside was NOT what they should be doing?
"Every single nerve in my body is saying no to that idea right now." She said, pointing to the pyramid and shaking her head. "I've watched way too many horror movies where someone gets their head served up on a platter in a place like that, and I think I'd rather sit out here and get drenched than ever trust it."
The jungle wasn't much better, though. God, everything about this place felt wrong, and yet one of the most trustworthy people she'd ever met was standing around like it was a downtown supermarket. She had to reach him somehow.
"Okay, I don't know why I'm called Virginiaterese, so I can't answer that." She said, clasping her hands in front of herself again and staring Athalia straight in the eyes. "But what I do know is that we're nowhere near home, and the fact that you're acting like this is normal is terrifying me. Is this somewhere you've been before? Are you just naming it after yourself because you think you discovered it?"Epine de Rose The both of them are hilarious right now. |D Vir's had only one slight memory, but she thinks it was a weird daydream. Realizing that she has a past life is going to elicit a much worse reaction than this, if Athalia can believe that, LOL.

"What is it going to take to reassure you there is nothing here except for you and I?" he asked gently, he continued to make his way down the slope towards the awaiting structure and glanced over his shoulder. Vir was definitely struggling at this point and he did have to wonder if perhaps, no one had exposed her to the concept of...who she was.
"How much did they tell you when they woke you up?" he asked after a moment. He could afford to stop for a short while, the clouds may have been rolling in but he'd risk it. She was entitled to a measure of reassurance and an explanation. If this was truly a completely foreign concept to her then it was no wonder that it had come at such a surprise.
...It was no wonder she was handling it so poorly.
"This is Athalia," he motioned around him. "Everything that I am, every power that I wield, it all comes from here," he explained. "This is where I was from, I can't really tell you when I came from here, all I can tell you is that I was from here," he continued. "Just like your power comes from Virginiaterese, it was born there even if it's now inside you," he tabbed at his own chest, as if to point at where he surmised is 'starseed' was.
Given the Negaverse kept targeting that part of him he assumed that was one of the 'important' areas of his person anyway.
"This place isn't new to me anymore, it hasn't been for months," he added and placed his hands on his hips, slipping his thumbs into his sash as he regarded the senshi. His features had softened by now, he might have preferred to be sheltered, but he wouldn't hurry her if her instincts cried out for her to avoid it... At least not yet, he might have to make an executive decision in a few minutes.
"My powers don't work Virginiaterese, the only reason I am even remotely as useful as I am is because I pack a punch," he pointed out. "The theory is that I lost this world and if I want to be 'whole', then I need to find a way to restore that," he explained.
"Not as easy as it looks I might add, but I can reassure you with some degree of confidence that the only thing that's normally here that happens to be alive, is me..."
He paused.
"Athalia is all but dead, I don't know how or why, or even when it happened... But perhaps if I can work that out, I may be able to fix it and restore what I've lost." He finished. "So welcome to Athalia, population me; and honoured guest, you."
He didn't know if restoration of a world was even possible, so far Athalia had given no indications that it was 'waking up' in that respect, but at the very least he had to try.Bouquet of Diamonds Yes but her reaction is so real, it's not realistic to expect them all to be 'ok' with the fact they can do this rofl. Although in her defence, he hasn't had a past life vision yet either. His are due to come much later so he can watch her freak out over that one too!
He got his approval for his ritual to fix his powers though so he'll be hitting his first set of those visions soon! *Wiggles*

She wanted to bark back that neither idea, being surrounded by danger or being completely isolated together, was particularly comforting... But his next question had her heart slamming against her chest. They? Uh... Well... She glanced away and shivered while she tried to remember the day she'd been awakened. It had been such a long time ago and she couldn't even recall the name of the guardian cat she'd encountered. All she could remember was the monster, the voices shouting around her, and how it all felt like chaos. She'd inherited a power she knew nothing about and, basically, abandoned it until this year. It was all too much for her back then, but now she wanted to try and fight. She looked to Athalia with an air of sadness now.
"I... They..." She started, lowering her gaze to the ground. "After my awakening, I basically clammed up. I tried on and off again to learn how to fight, but I could never bring myself to join in when it counted. I never asked why because I was too afraid to figure it out. ... I don't even remember who woke me up. I've been ignoring it all for years."
Obviously, the more Athalia spoke, the more panicked Virginiaterese became. Her hands reached for her hair and pressed into the sides of her head. No, they couldn't be on an entirely different planet! He was a guy she'd met while trying to fight some disgusting rats and asked to teach her how to fight. There was no way he could be from a place like this! She breathed and threw her arms out in denial.
"I'm sorry, I can't believe this!" She exclaimed, a hand clamping down over her chin in a worried fashion. "I mean, do you hear yourself? You didn't come from here! Our powers, I don't know about that, but you and I..."
She looked around herself and bit down on her lip. ... But what if... What if he wasn't lying? He'd never given her a reason to think he would lie to her and he sounded so confident and rational... It filled her with so much doubt and a part of her earnestly wanted to believe him. The part of her that still held on to strange ideas, believed in other worlds, and imagined lives far more magical than of her own.
Really now, could she deny that part of herself validation while she stood here in a princess skirt, tiara, and called herself a different name? Was it really that far-fetched? Could he be telling the truth, and if he was, what did that mean for her? Was she from a place like this, too? She knelt to the ground cautiously and touched it with her hand.
"... What did they tell you?" She asked, her eyes finding Athalia again. "I really don't understand. How can you be from two different worlds? How did you even get us here? ... I feel like I'm going to be sick." Epine de Rose Vir's awakening rp was dropped/redacted, so I'm making it canon for her that she was awakened by an NPC and then bailed when she felt like she couldn't figure out how to be an effective help in battle. She has a very limited understanding of the "war" and understands that senshi are the good guys, but nothing else. It's better explained that she's been ignoring her powers for years out of fear and only now is she like "Okay, I have to try. What if one of my siblings gets kidnapped by the bad guys or something? I need to learn how to protect them" and is seeking out information little by little. She's just a giant ball of panic.

"It was never for you to figure out," He said quietly.
He wouldn't say exactly what he was thinking, he'd heard similar tales before. Unfortunate souls woken up and thrust into a war they didn't comprehend, some too young to even be out passed a particular curfew. They should have had a guide, someone to take their hands and show them who they were, but more often than not the story always remained the same - no one ever really told them the truth.
Evidently he had been blessed with not one, but three Mauvians who had, in their own ways, been schooling him fairly regularly since he came in to existence as one of the newest soldiers. He hadn't been caught out, he hadn't really been left to piece together most of the puzzle himself. If he'd needed answers they had given what they could and when they didn't know they answer... Well, it was safe to say they tried their best.
He cast his gaze up towards the now encroaching and particularly angry storm front, instinct told him they did need to get inside and with that in mind he held out his hand.
"Throw up if you need to, for all I know it might actually help this place and it will definitely help you," he added. He hadn't minded to sound quite so whimsical but that was how it had come out. "But for now we do need to get inside," he added gently.
"I'll start from the beginning once we're there, and in the end, if you decide this is better left as a dream... Then that's all it needs to be," he finished. Granted he couldn't make the promise that he could 'make' it a dream by knocking her out safely and she might well have to try and suspend her own disbelief - they'd just have to wait and see.
For now, she still deserved the opportunity to calm down. Bouquet of Diamonds OMG MY FEELS. ;___; Literally Athalia's fury brewing there as he hates that this is how almost everyone he meets tends to wake up in some form. With barely any support and no guidance. He's over here all *ANGRY FACE*.

It was never for you to figure out. The way he'd said that. It offered a strange comfort, even if it also sounded vaguely ominous. Was she wrong to think that he almost sounded disappointed, like he'd heard this all before and her story was another one to add to a pile of sad tales?
If so, then that meant she wasn't alone. Other senshi, senshi she hadn't met yet, had been as confused as she was. Maybe, one day, she'd stumble across one of them and finally feel validated. That idea alone was enough to give her hope, and if she combined it with Athalia, who was already doing his best to help her right now, she could find it within her to try to embrace this. She pushed herself to her feet and moved to stand by Athalia's side.
"No, I think I'll be alright." She sighed, taking a deep breath in and raising an alarmed brow up toward him. "Uh, no? I know I'm terrified right now, but that doesn't mean you could try to make me believe this didn't happen. I'd rather be rudely awakened by the truth than continue to be confused like this. I want an explanation as soon as we're safe from whatever storm you think is coming, and I expect nothing less, understood?"Epine de Rose THERE NEEDS TO BE A SUPPORT GROUP FOR THIS NOW. Like, "Hi, were you awakened by a guardian cat and now you don't know what the ******** is going on? Come share your experiences with us at 6:30 PM. Drinks, snacks, and information will be provided at no additional cost."

He'd count it as a win, a small one, but she had been persuaded to move and given he genuinely didn't trust what resided above them he was going to take what he could get. He would reserve his lack of knowledge over this planetary feature for a later confession though, and instead, provide her with the information she was now rather determined to receive!
"Let's go," he said simply as he continued his way down the slope and towards the Pyramid-like structure. Surprisingly, it wasn't that difficult to reach. Given that the entire structure seemed to consume the caldera, the distance between the two senshi and the entrance was small at best and once ensconced inside, Vir would find that the man had turned round to regard her with a rather grim expression.
Or perhaps 'grave' was a better description?
"All right," he took a deep breath. "What would you like me to start with?" he asked. He would give his best shot at answering her questions and if all else failed then he knew a pair of rather jovial felines that would stand a better chance of assisting her.
"The point that you discovered you were magical, the whole 'welcome to the war' spiel or do you have another preference?"Bouquet of Diamonds xD I'd have one or two peeps who would go to that! Athalia got a good one in Brioche. Although can he come for the snacks and what not? He'll hand out pamphlets for Vir.

Virginiaterese followed as prompted, but moved almost as though she still weren't entirely there. While she'd managed to gather enough resolve to trust him, at least in this moment where it seemed to count, it was easy to see that she was still struggling to keep her cool. She frequently touched her mouth as they moved as though that would keep her from losing her lunch and heaved a heavy breath once they were safely inside. She allowed herself to lean against a wall, though her "better" judgement told her to be mindful of putting her weight down too hard just in case of "booby traps", and looked at Athalia with raised brows.
"I get we're magical and that, for some reason, we're fighting in a war." She said, adjusting her position. "And I'm not terribly concerned with that. What I'm not understanding is... This."
She made a broad sweep with her arm and let it flop against her side. ... That probably wasn't the best way to convey what she meant, actually. The senshi sighed at herself.
"This other world, how does that fit into who you are? How does that fit into who we are as senshi?" She clarified, her expression growing more stressed as she looked around the room. "What you said to me was that you were originally from here and you seem concerned, maybe even upset, that I don't seem to agree with that. Like it was supposed to be common knowledge. Do you mean to say all senshi come from other planets? Like we're aliens?"
Epine de Rose Honestly, this rp is hyping me up for when Vir takes her first trip to her homeworld. However, I'm not sure when that should happen. I know I'd like her first trip to be a solo mission where she makes herself press the button and face the fear, but I'm not sure if that should be in this stage or when she upgrades. > 3>

Not concerned with the war?
...Well he supposed if you didn't throw yourself head first in to it then it was fair not to be concerned with it. Generally speaking things only became important when they were much more relevant to you.
"Ok well..." he clapped his hands together, conveniently in time with a rather splendid rumble of thunder. Not intentional, but something he did lift a brow at nonetheless and glance momentarily back towards the door. "You'll have to forgive me on the finer details as I only just came to be enlightened to the fact that science is wrong in regards to certain things... namely magic and space travel," he added.
"However, at some stage about a thousand years ago this solar system and most of the universe was much, much more diverse," he began and took a breath. "There was life on every planet, every asteroid...everywhere you went you would stumble upon it," he continued. He had nothing to support this of course as he hadn't discovered time travel, but he had at least heard some moderately vague tales.
"All shapes, all sizes, elves were probably very much real," he added and waved his hand almost dismissively at the thought. Suffice to say that he could only hope that his species was not elven, he wasn't quite sure if he would live that one down in his own mind.
"Then something happened to each of them, I'm not really sure what happened here but they all just disappeared, right around the time that Chaos showed up," he pursed his lips. Eventually he would have had to reference their lovely villain and while he didn't know the full story surrounding the silver millennium's destruction he could only assume that it was all connected some how. Why else would they all be called forward, to stand united, against the darkness?
...What else would drive that measure of co-operation?
"Regardless of what happened to each place, all that life was reborn elsewhere... And it seems that for some reason, earth was picked as the place to be." He shrugged, glanced about him and then took a seat on the dust laden floor. It was only when he was reasonably comfortable that he rested his back against the wall.
"Now how we come in to play," he motioned to her and chuckled.
"It seems that back then each place had a champion, one defined hero of insurmountable power, and even though they may have 'died', it seems some inquisitive entity deemed it fitting to allow us to live again," he mused. He examined his hand and pursed his lips, at first he hadn't been convinced of it himself, but the more he'd come here, the more he'd begun to wonder at the possibilities.
...Even if this place wouldn't speak to him.
"We're not exactly how we were then, we're definitely... ourselves," he added. "So, I don't know who I was back then or what I looked like, the only thing I know is that at some point in time whatever power source I have in me happened to have adventures of their own."
He took the time to pause and glanced outside. The thunder had brought rain, but it wasn't something he was at all inclined to walk out in to, he wasn't sure if it was his imagination but those looked like metal shards.
"I'm not sure if it is common knowledge beyond the 'you get your power from this place' part of the introduction I received, I only found out interplanetary travel was possible after one of the Mauvians speculated it might resolve some of my issues." He admitted.
"And I only found out that I was previously someone else after another senshi warned me that I might see things, they implied it was normal and that I shouldn't worry," he cleared his throat. He had yet to experience the visions personally, but he could at least provide the sources for his information.
"Rest assured you're definitely human now, you were definitely born to human parents and you always will be... But it would appear the soul you carry inside you might be a little older than you thought, or you carry an echo of something ancient at the very least. They came from these worlds and and by extension, so do we."Bouquet of Diamonds Not gonna lie, Atty's have been mostly random exploration and he and his planet failing to be able to 'talk' to each other. Not the most exciting things. xD But I wanted to start slow while I got a feel for it so that's always an option for Vir too!

Virginiaterese listened, her expression fluctuating with each piece of new information. Life on every planet? On every asteroid? Elves? She felt her shoulders sinking further toward the floor the more Athalia explained. It still seemed too much to believe, but the fact that he was so confident, so forthright with the way he spoke... There wasn't much for her to do other than to believe.
She allowed herself to slide, gradually, to the floor and assumed a cross-legged position directly across from him. So... Chaos came around and wiped everything out and then Earth was chosen as the one and only place to be reborn because... Reasons? She supposed she could be thankful about that. If she hadn't been reborn here, who knows where else she would be right now. ... Probably floating in the dark abyss of space somewhere. She made a face at the thought.
However, her full attention snapped back to him as soon as he mentioned the warning he'd received from another senshi. Seeing things? She felt a knot twist in her stomach. Could that weird daydream she had on her brother's birthday actually mean something? ... She'd shove that as far down into the back of her mind as she could for now. That was a task for a day when she had mental stability, and oh boy, that day was not today for sure.
Still, the idea of being an old soul wasn't a concept she was foreign with. It was that fact that her soul had come from somewhere that wasn't Earth. The senshi pushed a hand through her hair and took a deep breath.
"Okay, that... That'll do." She said, her posture slumping backward as she spoke. "I don't know how much more I can handle right now. All of this is so sudden, so much, you know? I really thought we were just magical soldiers chosen to fight against an evil force by some unknown deity. I've been totally good with that as a concept, except for the fighting part of it until now, but..."
She looked out toward the shard like rain falling outside. ... Well, that didn't look safe. She rested her hand in her chin, thoroughly exasperated.
"Not that I'd lived somewhere else before." She continued. "Not that I'm a reincarnation. That this is my second life. Or third. ... God I don't even want to think about the possibility that there might be more."
The placed her face in her hands and sighed, heavily, before peering up to him.
"How did you deal with this?" She asked. "You seem like it doesn't really bother you now. Have you figured anything out about your former self? Have you... Seen anything?"Epine de Rose Slow sounds good, honestly! ... Maybe I'll write a solo or two just for fun before I send her out on her first trip. Like, I thought of one where she asks her mom (who's weird and into the occult) if she believes in past lives and her mom can be like "YES??? I've been so excited to tell you that I think you're my great-grandmother since you were a little girl! Here's her necklace????" and Sio can be like "Ma wtf??" The other would be one where she's trying to convince herself to press the homeworld button on her phone but she chickens out. The only problem with writing solos for her right now is she doesn't need them for reqs and it would just be extra, but I mean is there really a problem with that?? 8V;;

He wasn't sure whether it was even possible to assist further in regards to making the news more acceptable. He simply let the woman process the details she'd been given, and once she had sifted through some of it, she seemed inclined to speak directly to him again. Her question however did cause him to shake his head, his acceptance could have been any number of things but he supposed he'd err on the side of what felt obvious to him.
"Up until recently I didn't even believe space travel was possible," he pointed out. "Then three short months into my own career I did something no astronaut has ever done. I literally moved through time and space, and ended up deposited here," he continued. "When you can defy the very laws of physics itself and magic is very real, well..."
He paused, albeit briefly.
"At that stage I think I may have been willing to accept the possibility that there was more to this than I had previously thought," he admitted. He cleared his thought and clasped his hands together as he gazed outside and sighed.
"Months ago when I first arrived there wasn't even a breeze out there," he mused. "Now I've got a metal storm?" he shook his head. "But I will admit I haven't seen anything, at least nothing that I was warned about." he added in reference to the past life flashbacks.
"Would be helpful if I could though, apparently it can be quite informative and I would like to at least have working magic," he added wryly. Bouquet of Diamonds xD Yeah I'm pretty sure this guy has way more solos than he needs but I use them to flesh out and tell stories that I really want to (I actually I think Atty is over indexed in every RP type at the moment since I wanted to work on things before each upgrade).
Not for everyone, but if you need more reqs for stuff you can always have her bring someone with her etc. I figured you'd want the first trip to be a little bit more personal though! (Some folks don't so it's definitely a case by case basis).
