It had been a while since Oort had found himself down by the big tree near to the playground at the park, although that was most likely down to the fact that it had been a while since he had last had the chance to power up.
The park had been quiet as he sat on one of the lower tree branches and absently ate his way through the chocolate and vanilla ice cream that he had picked up from the small building that sold snacks prior to powering up.
Reddish eyes looked out over the playground as he waited.
For once Oort wasn't waiting for Euporie or Oberon and he wasn't waiting for Tomlin either - instead he was waiting for Perdita - although he knew that he was a little early–
And whilst he didn't really know Perdita quite as well as he knew Euporie or Oberon, the two of them had crossed paths a few times and he remembered that her magic was pretty neat.Sunshine Alouette apologies for the delay Sunny, work has been pretty crazy lately. Hope this works as a start, but if not then let me know and I'll tweak :3

Perdita had never been the most active Senshi. In her defense, she had a lot more going on in her life than Senshi business. Although, when she thought about it for a while, maybe the Senshi stuff was more important than school and skating. It did tend to be a life or death sort of thing. But she only had so much power at her disposal, and as a Chibi Senshi still, she didn’t think that power was all that impressive; therefore, her presence never seemed all that necessary. There were far stronger and far more experienced Senshi than her, Senshi who could probably accomplish more in a much shorter period of time, and with much less effort.
Still, she did what she could when she could, and she tried to keep in contact with some of the Senshi she’d encountered before, especially the ones who were closer to her age. She couldn’t claim to know any of them well other than Oberon, but they all seemed competent at the whole Senshi thing even if they might not be the most powerful or the most skilled, and they were decent people to boot.
Out of habit, Perdita showed up a little early, too, though not as early as Oort, considering he was already there when she arrived. She tried to put a friendly smile on her face, but didn’t manage it as well as Oberon would have been able to — not because she wasn’t glad to see Oort, but because she’d never been the most expressive person in the first place.
“Hi,” she greeted him, lifting a hand in a little wave. Not being the most social person, she had no idea how to start a conversation, but figured sticking to the basics was good enough. “It’s been a while. How have you been?”litian It's okay! Sorry for such a delayed reply!!

Oort had mostly finished eating his ice cream when he picked up on the chibi aura.
Perdita?
It had been a guess rather than a certainty, given that he was early, but as the source of the aura came into direct sight it seemed that his guess had been correct.
Oort ate the last of his cone before raising his hand in a small wave.
"Hey Perdita" he said as he jumped down from the branch that he'd been sitting on, his lips quirking up for a moment in one of his small smiles.
It had been a while since he'd seen Perdita, although Oberon had mentioned her from time to time–
And it wasn't as if he'd seen much of anything outside of the library recently for the most part.
"School's been pretty crazy" he admitted, "So it's the first time that I've powered up in a while."

“Same here,” Perdita said. Then, a little quietly, she admitted, “Sometimes I feel guilty for it.”
Even if there were more powerful and more experienced Senshi out there, she’d been given these powers, too. Shouldn’t she make an effort where she could? Wouldn’t she gain power and experience by doing so? Then she’d be like the others, rather than being stuck in such a powerless state. She hadn’t even been to her homeworld yet, and she’d known she had the ability to do that for years now.
“Oberon keeps encouraging me to get out more, but… I don’t know,” she continued with a shrug. “Sometimes I avoid it. Sometimes it all seems like too much. It’s all interesting, and I know it’s important, but I guess I’m still clinging to the part of me that’s normal.”
If she’d ever even been “normal” to start with. She’d never really been like other people her age, always focused on something bigger, whether that was her skating career or any of this Senshi stuff.
“Either way, it’s good to see you. I’m glad you’re okay. Oberon said you were, but… he’s pretty easygoing, so sometimes I think his definition of ‘okay’ is a little more lax than others.”litian Sorry for the late tag! crying I was trying to focus on the Halloween event while I could!
