Most of this was frightening, and Narcissus wasn't equipped to handle someone trying to maim him.
His breath came in short, sharp little gasps as he fled down the nearest alley, taking twists and turns behind buildings to avoid immediate capture until he could find a mirror to escape through. No amount of running he could do would avoid assault with certainty. His aura alone would lead his pursuers in the right direction, and at his stage, he didn't have the stamina to evade what felt like people stronger than him.
He was fairly certain one of them was a squire, and the other a basic like himself, and neither were shy about using their magic.
Another talent Narcissus lacked. Thanks to his age, apparently, his own magic served almost no purpose and had never once worked as he'd hoped it might. So coming up against people unabashedly slinging spells at him with intent to harm was not a position he wanted to be in. The senshi had some sort of heat-spitting ability that had almost immediately caught the long, translucent tendrils from his collar ablaze, scorching out to his arm and up to his neck.
Who knew that chiffon was stupidly flammable.
Narcissus didn't waste any opportunity to sling himself through the mirror down the alley Arnica had shown him on their first meeting. He expected that the White Moon trailing him would likely see the mirror and destroy it, rendering it useless for next time...
He hoped no one else was looking for an escape down there...
But the mirror spat him out in a heap behind an abandoned restaurant. The dark of night hid anything that may be out of the ordinary, and even the streetlights on the nearby road where obscured from view. Narcissus really would've liked to go home, but he was terrified of the idea of his aura pinging someone nearby to the location of his house, where he lived. Alone. And mostly defenseless.
So this would have to do for now, until he'd caught his breath and his body felt like cooperating. He leaned his back against the wall behind him, trembling from exertion and nursing the burns along his arm.
