*DO NOT LOOK AT THIS IF YOU WANT TO FIND THE SHRINES YOURSELF!*I understand that there are 15 shrines in all. 14 of which are regulars and 1 that is like some uber shrine that requires you do all 14 other shrines. I have found a few shrines, eight I think, and I'll tell you where they are and what you can get from them. I'll place the name of the shrine first, then the location, the item(s) required to activate the shrine(If I can remember them), the item you get, then how you get it if I can remember.

Azura's Shrine-North North Westish of Cheydinhal-Glow dust-Azura's Star(Its a soul gem if its like the one from Morrowind. I used it on my Deadra Blood quest like an idiot. I suggest not using it for that even though it tells you to go there for it.) Azura asks you to visit a mine South West West of the shrines location. Inside the mine you have to kill four vampires.

Vaermina's Shrine-East of the Imperial City, South West of Cheydinhal-Black Soul Gem-Skull of Corruption(A staff with Corruption magic imbued with it. I haven't used it yet, just put it away in a house after I got it.)-Must be level 5 at least. You have to go to a tower South South West of the shrine and get an Orb from a wizard. You don't have to fight the wizard, but you do have to fight a little on the way there. I had to fight Frost Atronochs and Deadra Spiders and what not, but I'm sure that is because of my level. Alot of things like that are.

Hircine's Shrine-South South East of the Imperial City, North North East of Bravil-Wolf or Bear Pelt-Savior's Hide(It was the item that I was so psyched about finding because of its counterpart, Cuirass of the Savior's Hide, was my favorite armor from Morrowind.)Must be lvl 17. Hircine will tell you to go and kill the unicorn for it's horn. I found it North East, near the shrine.

Mephala-North North West of the Imperial City-Nightshade-Ebony Blade(I didn't even look at it's stats before I put it away, so I don't know what it does.)-Level 15 Minimum. Mephala wants you to go to the settlement of Bleaker's Way and plant evidence that the leaders of each family had killed one another. Pretty easy. Nivan Dalvilu is the leader of one family and Hrol Ulfhar is the leader of the other. Dalvilu, I killed with one hit while he was sleep. He has a dagger near his bed that you need to plant in Hrol's house. Hrol, he gave me a little trouble, but not much and had a ring that was to be planted in Dalvilus house. The items had to be planted on the victims body, so don't just drop it. Then you can feel guilty like I did, or sit back and watch,...like I did, as the two families fight.

Shrine of Sanguine-North West of Skingrad-Cyrodilic Brandy-Sanguine Rose(Some staff that I didn't pay much attention to because I don't care for them)-Level 8. Sanguine has you go to the castle in Leyawiin and cast a spell on the countess and her party guests. Umm, I had some real trouble with this one because I couldn't figure out what to do. It turns out all you have to do is wait. Just follow the games instructions and cast the spell. You will lose all your gear and have the guards called on you. Do not surrender or it will say that you failed, just run around naked until you've been given the ok by the game, then I suggest you go to jail or you'll be in for a long run back to the shrine.

Shreogorath's Shrine-Follow the Leyawiin road that heads to Bravil until you come to a point where it gets really close to the river(About halfway between both cities) then head East.-A lesser soul gem, a head of lettuce and some yarn-Wabbajack(This is completely useless from what I've been able to figure, so if you are to use a deadric artifact for the Deadra blood, I suggest this one.)Level 2. This quest is funny as hell, I'll tell you what you have to do, but not what will happen. Thats something for you to see for yourself. Sheogorath tells you to go to the settlement called Border Watch, its a Khajit settlement that is apparently very superstitous. Go there and talk to the leader, Ri'bassa, about the K'Sharra Prophecy. Then go to the Border Watch Inn and steal the Olroy cheese inside the display case and go outside. Place the cheese in the kettle on the fire and watch as rats swarm in. Ri'bassa freaks out. Go and kill all the sheep outside in the pasture by the settlement, then Sheogorath will tell you to go to the middle of the city and duck. Then the rest is for you to see. Hot dog.

Nocturnal Shrine-Follow the road east of Leyawiin North until you come to a really sharp S in the road, then head slightly to the East, its over a pond. -No item requirments-Skeleton Key(Unbreakable Lockpick.)-Level 10. This is by far the most usefull shrine I have found yet. Go to the shrine and talk to Nocturnal, she'll tell you to go to Leyawiin to find some thieves. Talk to a begger and he'll tell you about some Argonians, Weebam-Na and Bejeen, boasting about a valuable jewel they stole. Go to their house and talk to them. Then go hide in the house and wait until they talk about the jewel. Head to Tidewater Cave and follow the waypoint until you find the Eye of Nocturnal. Return it to the shrine and get the key.

Hermaeus Mora's Shrine-Go to Cloud Ruler Temple and then head due West, you'll eventually find it if you stay heading west.- - -This is the shrine that requires that you go to all the other 14. I have no idea about any of it other then that its a Big Lobster looking thing with octopus legs.

If anyone has found any other shrines and has either beaten them or not, post them here.If you haven't beaten them, tell me where they are and I'll go beat it, being that I probably haven't done so yet. I haven't found them all yet and wouldn't mind help. Also, if you want more precise instructions or directions, say it and I'll do my best.

Okay. I just found Malacath's Shrine. It's north of Anvil, near Lord Drad's Estate. I can't get the worshippers to tell me what I need to talk to the shrine yet, so I can't give much information. They are talking about me being a "Beautiful person" and that I have to prove that I'm ugly inside. Maybe I have to commit a unprovoked murder?

Okay. I just persuaded Shobob gro-Rugdush, the leader, to let me go to the Shrine. The item you need for it is Troll fat.

In my thread "How to get the Skeleton Key",
I have a visual map on how to get to Nocturnal's Shrine.

Also, not only is the Skeleton Key unbreakable,
but it gives you a Security boost of 40.

Hermaeus Mora requires you to complete all other Deadric quests &
for you to be at level 20 or higher.

Hermaeus Mora gives you a skill book in a category of your choice (stealth, combat, magic).

When read, you get a 10 point skill boost in the 7 skills governed by the chosen category.

Malacath's Shrine-North of Anvil-Troll's Fat-Volendrung(Hammer)-Malacath tells you to go to Drad's estate and free his ogres. Near the estate is a mine called Bleaks Mine. There are a bunch of guards inside and there are two sets of ogres for you to free. You can pickpocket a key off of the guards like I did, or just pick the locks that I should have done, but didn't know that I could. All you have to do is open the doors and then leave. The ogres will get pwned by the guards, or they did by my guards because all of my guards were sporting deadric armor and weapons. So, thats it.

I didn't get my Black Soul gem until the mission where you have to find the necromancer alters for the mages guide. So I don't really know any other place than that.

Ok, do you know where it is? Cause I don't particulary have any reason for joining the Mages Guild.

I think you also need to be at the stage in the main quest where you have to get a Daedric Artifact.

It saved my brother. He sold all of his Daedric Artifacts.
