Although Morie had known how to visit her Wonder, she hadn’t yet found the time to take that big first step out into the unknown. There was still a lot she was learning about being Hakodate, and she had wanted to take her time, to be able to properly absorb the knowledge she was gathering. Of course, it hadn’t stopped her impulsive little sister, who was also a knight, from running off into space the first chance she had got. Morie knew this, of course, because one of the first things Tochi had done upon her return was gush to her older sister all about how space idols were real, and that she had proof. Well, ‘proof’ was a dubious word at best- Tochi hadn’t brought anything physically back with her, but insisted that she had seen with her own two eyes that space idols definitely existed. In other words, it was her sister’s word against, well, common sense? Then again, after recent events, Morie had begun to question as to what could and couldn’t be possible; the book she had acquired from the merchant had raised even more questions. In the end, nothing would be gained from inaction, Morie knew, and if she wanted answers, she would have to find them herself. The weather had cooled down slightly from the hot humid weather of the daytime earlier- the rain earlier had helped- but the uniform of Hakodate was still a little inappropriate attire to be wearing in the middle of the summer. Still, Hakodate reasoned, if Polaris knight uniforms were like this, then it would be reasonable to assume that the weather of Polaris itself would be cold enough to necessitate such attire. Before she could start preparing to speak the words that would transport her to her wonder, though, the page had the feeling that she wasn’t quite as alone as she thought she was. “Is someone there?” she called out, cautious, yet keeping her cool. Wavesoul_Fantasia hope this works! kept location vague bc i wasn't sure where to set this

Sitting just nearby with an cocky smirk was a rather large cat. Lifting a paw to rub one tufted ear, Orias looked quite at ease in the warm air. He'd been trotting about looking for nothing in particular, but when he followed his instincts interesting things tended to happen. And lo! What should he be spying upon but a knight! No, not a knight perhaps. Weren't they fancier? This one looked like a bit of a pipsqueak. Quite aware that he'd just been staring in silence to the girl's question, he decided he'd finally speak up. "Just me, the greatest Mauvian you'll ever meet," he responded with a knowing nod. "And I recognize the colors of most of the planetary standards, so you must be from one of the stars? Hope it's cold there, or I have some terrible news for your fashion sense sweetheart." Rising from his haunches with a flick of his long bushy tail, the feline cocked his head. "Well, go ahead. Introduce yourself. Off to do something important?"

It was a pleasant surprise to find that her companion for this night was another of the star-marked cats, Hakodate mused. With her only real exposure to them being the idol-loving kitten that her sister was friends with, it was also nice to find that the large fluffy cat sitting nearby didn’t seem like the type to burst out into song and dance at any given moment like Rune was. “You would be correct,” Hakodate responses, with a slight smile, “I am Page Hakodate of Polaris, and I was just thinking of visiting my wonder for the first time.” Thinking, or, rather, in the planning stages of it, anyway, just nearly ready to commence with said plans. “And what about you, ‘greatest Mauvian I’ll ever met’? I’ll admit, I don’t know much about the greatest, compared to the only other cat I know, you’re certainly an improvement already...” ... Or maybe she was setting the bar a little too low.

Orias grinned. Oh to be young and naive, discounting the fact that he was technically fairly young himself. It was okay, this Hakodate would receive a pass. After all, hadn't they just met? "Give it time, I'm sure you'll agree once you get to know me. I'm absolutely unforgettable." He gave a cheeky little wink. "My name's Orias, and you're the first mini-knight I've met. And Polaris... can't say I'm too familiar with it. Must be one of those star royalty knights or something, always cropping up when I'm not paying attention." Pausing for a big kitty yawn, the Mauvian mulled over what his new acquaintance had just said. "So this wonder of yours, you've never been. You should probably take someone along with you. My kind is great for figuring out secrets and auras and junk. It's your incredibly lucky day, in fact." Popping open his sub-space pocket for just a moment, Orias suddenly held a pawful of jerky and several travel-sized beer bottles. "Obviously you can't have my beer, I don't share that. But," he waggled the jerky, "I'm willing to share the best road trip food known to Earth with you. Whattaya say? Jerky for calling shotgun to your rock? Pond? Castle? Maybe it's a forest. I never really know with knights."

There was something about Orias that was endearing to Hakodate, but maybe it was just the fact that she couldn't help but continue to mentally compare him to Runelucia. The jerky was an interesting offer, but the beer in particular was a bit... something? Well, she knew that Mauvians could consume foods that a normal cat couldn't, but the mental image of one of them drinking beer was, um. Innnnnnterestingggg? "I don't see why not," Hakodate told him, after some thought, "Though, I can't guarantee there'll be anything of interest." Her little sister had said that Aogashima the wonder had been a grand stage where surely idols of the past had performed at. What would Hakodate the wonder be like? The book from the merchant had raised quite a few questions. "... I don't suppose I should be carrying you or anything, should I?" it was a little embarassing to ask, but Hakodate wasn't quite certain how she was going to go about taking a guest with her.

"Well I'll never know until you take me, will I?" Orias stuffed a bit of jerky in his mouth, his speech now a bit muffled and garbled. "Aftuh ahl, Ah've gut technulogeh!" He swallowed, smacking his lips appreciatively and waddling forward on his hind legs with forelegs full of the food and drink. "If I end up liking you, I may even share my new Gold Digger app with you. It's crazy useful, but you'll see. No one really believes in my inventions until they stuff a big meaty wad of 'I told you so' right in their faces. It's always so satisfying." Grinning a pleased little grin, the large cat made that awkward and laborious climb up Hakodate's form. Beer clamped in mouth, jerky tucked under a leg. Couldn't make the trip without them! Finally he settled like the world's fluffiest parrot on her shoulder. "Onward, Page!" the Mauvian cried with his expression set in a somewhat serious line. "Adventure calls!" He gave her shoulder a spurring thump with his foot. You know, to help get the teleportation magic into gear. Merurulince Sorry about that! I somehow missed this one.

How... charming. Hakodate supposed that each and every Mauvian was unique in their own way, with their own individual quirks that set them apart from each other. Orias was certainly proving that theory true so far, and while she still wasn't sure what to think of a cat with a fondness for beer, she could at least appreciate... his passion for inventing? Though she wasn't sure what exactly this 'Gold Digger' app was about. "Right, then," Hakodate said, and prepared to focus, to say the words she knew would take them to her wonder. I pledge my life and loyalty to Polaris, and to Hakodate. I humbly request your aid, so that in return I may give you mine. One moment, there were in Destiny City. The next...? A building Hakodate could only presume to be some sort of library in the past, with all the books and scrolls scattered about. Either that, or someone's workshop. It was hard to tell, from just one glance. "I wonder if any of this is legible..." Hakodate murmured, as she glanced around. They would have to be cautious, if so; she knew enough to know that the passage of time had mostly likely not been kind to these books, if she and Orias were the first visitors this building had seen in some time. Wavesoul Fantasia sorry for taking so long to get back to this!
