It’d been a few weeks since Tochi took her first step into outer space, and discovered her wonder for the very first time. In that time, the annual Star Festival had come and gone, which was a very fun event that Tochi had enjoyed immensely. Not only had she had acquired a small assortment of the colorful star keychains they had been giving out, but she had met a mysterious merchant, with whom she had traded a sparkling stone in exchange for two pieces of a costume from some far off theater she wasn’t sure about, a pretty dress and a pair of boots.

(Sure, Tochi hadn’t managed to obtain a full collection of all the keychain colors, and she had also maybe overheard her sister mutter something under her breath about ‘parallel universes’ and ‘little green men’, but other than those things, she’d had the time of her life!)

Now that those things were over, though, Tochi really wanted to go back to Aogashima again. She wanted to be sure that it wasn’t a dream, that she hadn’t been imagining things, and at the same time, show it to someone else, as well, so they could confirm it with their own two eyes. Rune, her fellow vtuber buddy and feline idol extraordinaire, was the first name that came to mind, and certainly, Tochi wanted to take her Mauvian buddy into space to see the grand stage, or what had been once been a grand stage, anyway.

However, another name came to mind, that of her new space idol friend, Dinara. They had exchanged numbers during their first meeting, as Tochi had planned on teaching her all about idols, and what better opportunity was there than this? Digging her cellphone out of her bag, Tochi scrolled through her address book until she found Lottie’s number, and dialed, eagerly awaiting for the other girl to answer.
