Pack member or rogue Desert Storm was going to prove his mettle against whomever he was up against, even his own brother who he was somewhat surprised that joined in the tournament. Maybe the fact that he had done so well during the hunt had caused some boldness in him. Either way he was proud of the other. So when they all broke off for their respected duels Storm felt the little sparks of pre-fight energy come off in ripples around him.

His opponent was a berzerker. Oh how interesting. He lunged as soon as he was able. Emboldened now by the fact that he had just come out on top for the hunt despite his brother finding the herd. Storm still wanted to prove that he was a great warrior and well, this was his chance. So when he lunged, he tried to go for anything that he could get his fangs around.

Conflagration curled one side of his lip, exposing the barest sliver of teeth. Oh, this should be fun. He knew he might have to ask one of his other personalities for help if he needed to be crafty, but this was the kind of fun Ration lived for. He'd just have to be careful not to overdo it and cripple or kill anyone...

His first opponent looked to be a somewhat experienced fighter, from the scars he bore, so he knew his size would not necessarily win out and he would need to evaluate the stranger's abilities carefully as they fought. When the opponent lunged forward, Ration turned his body slightly to deflect the bite away from the most vital spots.

He snarled as the opposing wolf's teeth landed deeper than he'd expected. That *hurt*. No matter, the pain would fuel his own attack. Ration twisted and snapped at the tan wolf's legs, hoping to decrease his mobility. [158]

The other had turned his attention to his legs and Storm stumbled as he felt teeth scrap against him. Alright, so at least this one had some tactics. As much as he tried to get away from the other's fangs he just didn't have time to move his legs. Teeth sank into them and he gave a cry out, teeth bared. Then he lunged again, this time trying to push the larger wolf over. If he could throw his whole weight into the other maybe he could force the other over.

Ration let out a puff of air as the other wolf collided with him, but he had sturdy footing and did not stumble or fall. With the enemy so close, he turned his back and swiped at him with a back paw. [42]
