~I'll post an RP prompt in quote and a green "GO" under it. Post in the Main thread (linked as part of Go)
~You must read and answer the prompt as efficiently as possible.
~The end date of the contest is July 22nd at 11:59 PM CST
~The contest will be judged by a panel of mods that will decide the winner.
~If you are the winner, your Meta will be certed and it will be posted in the thread.
~If you are the winner, you will need to make and completely fill out a journal for your meta within one month or you forfeit the meta and it will be used for another event.

Item: Nine of Diamonds

Prompt

"You've just recieved your paperwork to have the child. The child approaches you, looking very sad, but eager for something. Tugging on your clothes a little, they seem to want something. But what could it be? What item of yours do you give them? You choose an item and hand it to the child. It hugs the item and smiles as a light envelopes the child. When the light subsides, the child seems fine, but the item is gone."

+In 250 words or more, respond to the above prompt. Take us through each step, that includes getting the call, going to the sanctuary, and giving the item.
+The prompt does not have to be set at Sanctuary, the important part of the prompt is meeting and adopting the child.
+You will respond to the prompt from the point of view of your parent character.
+You may use any person, or any tense, but keep in mind that roleplaying in the guild is done in 3rd person. 1st person is used for diary entries.
+If you would like, you may use one of the Elders in your prompt response, please keep in mind which Elder corresponds with the child you are applying for. In this case, it is Zen for Ghost Metas.
