School. Iro didn't like it much, didn't appreciate being forced to leave home and skip a day out on the seas fishing with her uncles. She'd never been a scholar, either, so on some days when she felt particularly difficult, she elected to simply not attend.
Today was one of those days.
Her mother would never stand for her bumming around at home, but what mother didn't know wouldn't hurt her. Instead of packing up her school books, Iro had stuffed a roomy hammock into her pack, gone down to the water's edge, and strung it up so she could spend her day laying about, watching the boats sail in and out of the harbor.
Certainly not a bad way to spend her time.
