Rham was also still feeling very much the rose tint that love offered the world. Especially when his lovely lady had such a smile on her face while practically yanking him out of his wagon, where he'd been sorting through various drawers. He yelped and laughed, stepping out and down the few steps.

"We are!" He took Sathe's hand in his, lacing their fingers together as he breathed in a full breath of that fresh hair. Ah, it was a change. It made his blood sing. He hadn't been here in some time! "Did you figure out what we should do first?" Honestly he didn't care what she picked. It would stretch his legs and be a change of pace. He was half wondering if they'd spot some new Sauti fashion that may catch Sathe's eye. Of course Rham would want to see her in different styles.

"Eat? Shop? Just walk?"

"That sounds lovely to me," he said with a hum. The sun felt great against his skin, and there was a nice breeze, so it wouldn't be too hot for either of them, really. Rham squeezed Sathe's hand in his, his thumb caressing her knuckles.

"Say," he started, "what do you think about the traveling life so far? Is it... everything you hoped?"

Maybe Rham wanted a little reassurance that he hadn't dragged her into something she'd regret.

His heart fell as she stopped walking. Rham watched her, still holding her hand, keeping it tightly in his. Hopefully it wasn't too tight, for he was nervous about what she may end up saying.

She seemed to be choosing her words carefully, and Rham was feeling his gut sink. It wasn't everything she'd hoped for. How had he failed her already? They were barely two month--

And then she asked the question and Rham blinked and then took a second to process what she was talking about. His brows creased and his eyes narrowed as he thought about her words. "Do you mean... my sales or us?" He asked carefully. "Do you mean a baby?" He had spoken of children months ago, and he did want them. He really did! Rham thought he would make a fantastic dad, and Sathe would blossom as a mother.

"It's not too soon?"

He felt comfort with her toying with his hand like this, finding the circles soothing. Swallowing a little, he opened his mouth and then let out a hum.

"I...want children. I've really started thinking about them.. with you. I just didn't want it to seem too fast? But, if you're ready, I'm more than ready." The pitch in Rham's voice was getting more and more excited. "If you think that.. that this is the life you think we can raise kids in, then yeah! I'm wanting that with you."

The grin and blush on his face was ever growing.

"I think, traveling with you pregnant won't be an issue. We stay at inns anyway. We can check in with various healers to see how you're doing... When it comes down to the last of it, we can... go to Tale. Back to your home?" Rham was thinking to think about this as seriously and logically as possible.

"I think even having the baby on the wagon won't be too much of an issue! There's room for a crib so they would be nice and secure, or on your lap, or mine! They'd be very experienced in the ways of the world, traveling with us. Think of how rich their world is going to be! If... if you think that's a good plan. I think ...it sounds solid. We can go traveling again when you feel up to it. No rushing or anything."

"I think that's a wonderful idea!" He hadn't thought about a 'vacation home' so to speak. It was so obvious when said out loud it made the man laugh and brought one of his hands to rub his goatee, scratching at his chin a for a brief moment.

"They could even make lasting friends. Though we may only be there for a few months time. But real friends last, don't they?" He was sure if he ever saw his old friends again it would be as if they had never parted. Rham was always easy to get along with when it came to not being the needy one in his friendships. "So... Two or three?"

He took the hand still holding hers and gave her a very gentle guiding tug, walking back down the way they'd been going. The casual stroll was a lot more interesting now. "If so, we'll need either a bigger wagon or a whole other wagon."

"M-more...." He stumbled on his word and his footing, not enough to fall, but he definitely jerked to keep himself up right. Blinking, he turned to look at his lover and just shook his head. "I ...am open to the idea of a larger family." He hadn't been expecting the answer of more than three. Didn't most want only a few? Then again, not everyone was the same. Clearly.

"Three or more. I'd have a team of little helpers." He could see them playing with the spools of fabric or begging him for a few yards of something when they got old enough to want to fashion their own clothing.

It made Rham's chest swell.

"So the next step... I'll be with you the entire time. I'd never leave your side for even a moment!"
