Deep in the Fairy Wonderland, a beautiful fountain has been decorated to match the theme. This fountain has been here for years, but there’s something different about it beyond just the little stars and lights that have been set up around it. The fountain is filled with coins from wishes, though there seem to be a few strange, foreign coins. Underneath one of the lower parts of the fountain, hidden in an ornately carved swirl, is a small golden bell with long golden chain dangling from it. If rung, a beautiful, tinkling sound echoes around the fountain as if many little bells are ringing. There is a faint hint of laughter hidden in the chiming bells. Amidst the tinkling bells and laughter, a little voice that sounds far away seems to ask for a wish. Whether or not one is requested, after a moment the song of the bells begins to fade. If the bell is rung again, nothing strange happens and it functions simply as a normal bell however, for the rest of the night, you hear the sound of giggling and tinkling bells following behind you.
After his talk with Aiden earlier in the day Alexandre had returned to the park. It as dark now and he was alone, as he needed to be, hje had a lot on his mind. He hadn’t seen Aiden in so long and it hurt to see him again, he had felt the constriction in his chest, and it had nothing to do with his panic attack. He missed him, even though he was the one at fault, he just wished he could fix things somehow.
Fingers ran through his hair, tugging at the strands gently, he wished it would be simple but he knew the best things took time and effort - they weren’t easy. Aiden was worth it though.
As he reached one of the parks many fountains he took the time to walk around it, glancing into its water depths, which weren’t so deep, and spied the coins resting at the bottom. Coins of all kinds were down there...each a wish from someone. For a moment he did consider dropping a coin in as well, and making a wish, but he doubted magic would grant the wish of a coin tosser.
It was as he inspected the fountain that he spied a bell tucked away, easy to miss, and reaching down towards the golden chain attached to it he gave it a gentle tug. The bell sounded lovely, well maintained, but it also sounded like other bells were going off in response - dozens of them. Turning this way and that, looking for other potential bells, he saw nothing. But he was sure there were more and he was also sure he heard laughter and a voice, was it the fairy like figure people said they saw in the park?
That...that was likely magic, he was sure of it, since this was Destiny City. So with that in mind he did respond to the voice asking for a wish. “I want the love back that I lost.” He didn’t want to force Aiden to be with him but he did want the others love again - he missed it. So he did clarify, he didn’t trust magic exactly, not when it came to magic. “I don’t want it forced...or against his will. Nothing he wouldn’t want. If he loves me still...I want to know. I want him back...if he still wants me.” He would never want anything against the others will...then it was hollow and fake.
“I don’t want to lose him again and mess this all up.” He didn’t want a repeat of last year. He knew he couldn’t handle it, not again, and he wasn’t a weak person but he meant a lot to Alexandre...more than he knew. He doubted Aiden knew how much he meant to Alexandre...that he was one of the General’s few weaknesses. It was why he kept him clueless about the war...to keep him safe and keep Aiden from being used against him - for both of their sakes. He just hoped he could have Aiden back and continue to keep him in the dark and safe, he worried about telling him all his secrets...he had a lot of them.
As the sound of the bells slowly faded off until there was nothing left the blond took his time to breath, a deep relaxing breath, as if he just let a weight fall off his shoulders. When he turned to go he had a small smile on his face. This needed to work.
