It wouldn’t be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be pink, blue, and even purple in color. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it.

Hyperborea sat alone on top of the roof of a large building on the outskirts of Destiny City, she had traveled to this remote building to view the meteor shower that was supposed to take place. The young knight of the Cosmos was able to see shooting stars often enough from her the acropolis of her wonder but there was something special about seeing it on her birth planet. She had been looking forward to this night since she read about it in the news days ago. She wanted to get somewhere high up and far enough away from the lights of the city that she would have a good view of the event.

The white haired girl settled down against the locked door to the roof she was on. She had climbed the building with the aid of her companion Cerynitis, she wished she could keep the magical doe around for the meteors but unfortunately she didn't have enough magic outside of her wonder to maintain whatever connection summoned the white deer to her aid. She thought of the deer like an old friend so it was sad to send her away but it was an unfortunate reality that on Earth she couldn't keep the magical deer around for more than about a minute.

Hyperborea leaned her staff against her as she watch the sky. Soon enough the cosmic show began as points of light shot across the sky. Although most of the meteors seemed to be the normal white or yellow trails that one would expect however Hyperborea noticed that a few of them were more exotic colors. Pink and blue and even purple like the stars of her wonder. The glowing knight marveled at the beautiful sight above her.

It was like someone had flicked the heaven's vault with little specks of color. Hyperborea grinned at the wonderful display. She was sure that scientists and most of the general public would explain away this miraculous display as something to do with the elements of the meteor or how they entered the atmosphere or perhaps even put it down to mass hallucinations. However she knew, deep down inside of her she knew she had just witnessed a magical event.

Perphase it was a gift from her princess Sailor Cosmos, a gift to the Earth to remind her defenders and guardians that there is still beauty in the Galaxy. Beauty that was worth fighting to defend against the seemily ceaseless tide of chaos.

With a smile on her face and a renewed motivation the young knight of the Cosmos got to her feet grabbing her star topped staff. She felt renewed by the meteor shower, watching the colorful fragments of space rocks entering the earth's atmosphere made her feel fresh and ready to patrol.

She grabbed her magical warhorn that she kept at her hip and willed a bit of her magic into it. She summoned Cerynitis to her side, the doe tapping bronze hoofs against the rooftop in greeting. Hyperborea climbed onto the back of the doe and made her way gracefully down the building's face to the ground below. She dispelled her companion and set out ready to stop any chaos creatures she found tonight.
