Strange things appear in Destiny City all the time, so nothing seems out of the ordinary about what might look like discarded trash, broken glass, or pieces of broken jewelry. If anyone were to lean in for a closer inspection, they might find a beautiful, gemstone like object that is shaped a bit like a star. They come in an array of colors and almost seem to have some sort of light sparkling in them.

Erich sighed as he juggled the materials in his arms. Unfortunately for him, his lab mates had decided that they would ditch him before everything was put away and properly disposed of because of a rumor that one of the prettier women on campus might be heading their way and apparently they just couldn't stand the thought of not seeing her.

He promised that he would kill them when they came back.

That was for later though, and he grunted as he set some of the books back that they had borrowed and then once again lifted the trash that he had been carrying. Luckily it wasn't anything hazardous or needing special disposal, but someone had to take the trash out after having used the lab if anyone threw anything away and tonight he was the lucky one to do it. He wasn't sure why the rule was there, though he figured that without doing it someone would throw something in the trash that they shouldn't and if the trash were to have liners in them and other things then it would be more easily hidden.

He wouldn't be surprised if it happened at least. He was in graduate school and yet his fellow students appeared to treat it like their freshman year of college. He didn't get it. He had gone through it and had found that he would have rather skipped the first year than do it all over again. Perhaps it was because most of them were married at this point? If that was the reason that they wanted to party so hard, they were probably making up for lost "freedom".

It annoyed him greatly. If one did not want to lose that freedom, then why did they get married in the first place. Probably the same reason he was stuck throwing out the trash right now. "Lazy b*******." He mumbled to himself as he kicked the door open to get to the dumpster outside. He spotted the dumpster and threw the tied trash-bag into it, making sure it didn't get stuck on the side or anything that would require further work. Luckily it didn't and so Erich was now free to leave.

Before he had though, he spotted something on the ground. It sparkled in the lighting that was given off by the streetlamp and Erich couldn't help but take a closer look. When he did he realized that it looked like some sort of star-shaped gem. It was a dark brown color, ugly in his opinion, but it looked like it had fallen out of a jewelry setting of some sort, and so he put it in his pocket to post about later on the school's website. Someone had obviously lost it and probably hadn't even noticed, so now he was going to give them the opportunity to claim it. Not like he wanted to keep it at least. But might as well try to see if it belonged to someone.

If not he could try stuffing it down one of those a******* throats to see if they would choke on it.
