The Wishing Tree (2) : Your wish is only said to come true if you grant the wish of someone else; when you write your wish, you must also take one off of the tree and do your best to grant it. What wish do you pull off, and how do you intend to ‘grant’ it? Do you work with someone else to grant this wish, or do you work alone? You may get approval from another player to use the wish their character hung up, but no names are attached so your character may not ever know who wrote it!

Sachio looked at the paper in his hand. "Wish for someone to do a charitable act..." He mumbled to himself as he glanced at it once more before putting it to the side.

Even if was summer, as a pre-med student he needed to take classes now too and considering the amount of work that he had, he barely had enough time to go outside let alone try and grant someone's wish. Sure, the wish would be easy enough and he could do it in a number of ways, but in a sense, he felt like he needed to do something more than the usual.

Of course, he could go out and throw some trash away that he had found on the sidewalk, there was always plenty of that. He could help someone across the street, etc. but those were all easy. Well, maybe not the helping someone across the street as that would require finding someone in the first place. But he wondered if he would be able to do something a bit bigger than all of that. Certainly, one could count his work as a Senshi a "charitable" act, though he felt as though it were an unpaid part-time job that he was risking his life for and no acknowledgement, and well, he just wanted to do something different. Something that he didn't usually do.

He sighed as he pushed his chair away from the desk and went to get a refill on the black tea that he had been drinking. It was yet another night to stay up late and to do so he needed a boost to keep up. Unfortunately, caffeine was about the only available source at this point and he certainly didn't want to try becoming addicted to energy drinks. If there was one thing he had seen with his fellow students, one couldn't go to one extreme just to get through all of this. It meant bad things later and while a caffeine addiction wasn't good, at least he wasn't drinking himself to death at a young age.

After filling another cup and sitting back down again he tried to concentrate on his studies but eventually found he was unable to do so.

He grunted, pushing the chair back once again and grabbed his apartment keys and a different pair of shoes to go outside. He just... needed a break.

It wasn't too late in the evening and as he walked around quite a few people were still out and about, which made him wonder if any Agents were around... not that he would be able to tell unless he directly saw evidence, but it always made going out a bit more nerve wracking.

While this was going on though, he passed by a pet store and he couldn't help but notice a large sign on the front of it.

It made him stop and wonder... he could do it. He was a student on a scholarship and didn't have to worry about money at this time (his sister was quite helpful too) and if he had a dog, he would be able to take more breaks between his studies. They might even de-stress him a bit which, compared to pills, would be a lot easier on his system...

He wandered inside of the shop and asked for an application, hoping that they would accept him. Sure, it was fulfilling the wish in a certain way, but it helped him too. He couldn't think of a better win-win situation.
