Night was quickly falling on the Coven, yet it didn’t bother the two toned female. Her body seemed to glow with the waning sun, the white pelt glittering in the retreating sunlight. She sighed as her bluish green gaze flickering around the darkening land.
“Where is he.” Bind muttered to herself, stating her comment instead of asking a question for it. “He should’ve been here by now.” Was he late? Or, maybe it was she that was.
The striped shewolf would not truthfully answer. She sat, her tail curled around her hind paws as she pawed the ground slightly. The jingle of her bangles clinking, cutting through the silence. “If he doesn’t get here soon, I will go look for him.” She growled, ears pinning back.
"Relax." a deep voice spoke out as the dark male stepped into view. He was covered in small scars, tiny memories from the past. One of his ears was almost completely missing now, and he was adorned with golden jewelry. Flashy perhaps, and easy to recognize. Unravel was hard to miss when he wanted to make himself known.
"What are you doing here?" He questioned as the wolf slowly circled the female before him. "I figured you'd be long gone by now?"
He had a very sordid past with this female, one that could never be true the erased. What they shared... perhaps it transcended time itself, he seemed always find his way back to her, even going through the mouth of hell like he had.
Still, it had been some time, the two had been a bit estranged lately. "You come and go so often..." he trailed off, allowing his sentence to die naturally.
Was it disappointment that plagued his face? Or was it an annoyance? It was hard to say.
Relax. The word echoed in her mind, causing her to tense, and fur to bristle on end. Relax? Who was he saying to tell her to relax? She bit back a snarl as her eyes narrowed, her ears pinning back to show the displeasure of the word uttered to her.
“Do you want me gone, Unravel. Because like you, I can be good at disappearing and not letting someone know my whereabouts. You would like that, wouldn’t you?” Bind huffed, unable to keep the bite out of her tone. She was still flustered by the relax comment. How dare he.
“If you don’t want me to leave so much, then use your words and tell me to stay. Man up for once. Or, will you always let your brain of yours get in the way of everything?” She stared straight towards Unravel, frowning. The two had a strange relationship for sure, but the female cared for the scarred and wounded male, probably more than he had cared for her. But she wouldn’t take the lead in releasing the information to him. No, he needed to do that himself.
“Why so pissy? You don’t need to flex-” he gave her a slight eye roll before brushing past her with a hard shove. His shoulder would bounce off her own before he found himself on the other side of her, glazing at her backside.
“You stayed for me. Don’t threaten to go.” the male paused. “-besides, you wouldn’t leave me. Not now.” he knew he could play the wounded bird role and keep her here, it took very little effort on his part - playing a role. Pretending to be something he wasn’t. He knew she cared, no matter how hard-headed she was.
“I was only teasing.” the black wolf explained before he rolled his way back over to her, standing in front of the smaller female, this time with a rather intense stare. “You know that.” his eyes narrowed. “You’d never leave me.”
