Elibrie - she/her
The little shoulder-squeeze from Juhvek was very welcome, and while she wasn't as daring as Oranie, who put her hand over the other Candidate's, she did look up to meet his eyes and nod in response to his assurance that the Rose green would be fine. Elibrie didn't often make much eye contact with boys - or more accurately in Juhvek's case, men - so doing so voluntarily was rather something for her. Especially given that, well. She liked him a bit more than she really ought to have. But as ever, she pushed that very far down, and tried to focus on deep breaths and not worrying.
She looked back to the hatchlings out and about on the Sands, including the competing blues. "They are handsome," she agreed finally, "And I think they know it."
So much confidence! What must it feel like, to go through life that way?

Fahn
Who was feeling all of this newly hatched energy? Fahn! Who absolutely wanted to get right on top of the Gold's suggestion to start partying it up - and likely would have if there wasn't so much to see. Hopping from foot to foot, she clapped her hands together in beat with all of the going-ons. It was a party, or at least a prelude to a party if they had time (she'd already forgotten the hullabalo going on in the stands behind them, after all).
If it bothered the pair standing with her, she didn't seem to make note of it.
"Got a few of 'em impressed. Think the rest will follow or we'll see more of the show?" she asked, not particularly waiting for an answer before looking at the strutting Purple Glitter blue and actually going on to flex, like she was showing off guns she didn't have. "Look at the wings on hiiiimmmmm," yeah baaaayyybeeeeeee.
----
Papys
Papys did not disregard the other blue, instead looking between them. Was he appraising them? Or did he just want to give them both their own fair share?
----
Juhvek
"Looks like she's at least calling for someone now," but as neither girl seemed to have suddenly jerked to head off that way, Juhvek had to guess it was another on the sands. It certainly wasn't him. It also seemed like the next angriest dragon had focused her ire mostly on one of her siblings, rather than the candidates, so that left....
"Looks like we have at least one green on the run," he noted, watching how quickly she covered ground for being so young. But greens were always fast to him. Maybe not exactly true over all, but it was how he thought of them.

Rian - she/her - HR
"Hmm, I think it'll be a little of both," Rian said, stifling and excited giggle of her own. Now that the rose green had Impressed and was going to get tended to, she could relax a little and enjoy watching the other hatchlings. "A couple of them look like they already know exactly who they want and they're just enjoying the chance to show off a little more, first --- or maybe they don't and they just want as much attention as possible before finding Theirs?" She was speaking mostly of Purple Glitter blue, but there was certainly no shortage of confident little ones out there.
Then again, there were also ones like the little green that looked like she was just trying to run as fast and as far as she could and as a result hadn't quite worked out how to stop. "Then again, I... think some of them may have to get some energy out before they Impress." Gosh, weren't they all just--- so cute?!? She loved hatchings, she was so glad she was participating in the swap!

Rasthell - Impression
The red-head had been listening to Orry answer his question, trying to keep track of where all the dragonets were on the sand. He knew very well how quick things could change, and a few dragons had already hatched with a less-than-happy disposition. Hadn't that been part of the reason why the little green's wing had been so badly fouled up?
To say he could relate to having a bad day was an understatement. While life hadn't been exceptionally unkind to Rasthell, nothing had quite turned out how he had once hoped. He'd already disappointed his family from Keroon; his friends had all Impressed, and at other Weyrs for that matter; he'd been an absolute fool when it came his love-life and he'd yet to fully recover; and now he was edging dangerously close to aging out. While he wanted badly to find His, he was coming to terms with the fact he might simply be a Beastcrafter.
Nothing more, nothing less.
But he was so much more.
The thought--unspoken, more a feeling--surprised Rasthell, though he almost nearly brushed it off. But it was persistent, and a sudden feeling enveloped him, quite unlike he'd ever experienced before. There was a pain that he felt--a physical ache in some phantom limb--that was echoed by a precious being somewhere on the Sands. Orry, and Aerden, were both suddenly forgotten as he locked eyes with the most perfect dragonet on the Sands.
How had he not seen it before?
The answer, the feeling, was immediate: because he hadn't allowed himself to see it. There was no judgment, no shame. Only the deepest love to wrap around his heart, his mind, his every fiber of being. My Rasthell, please come and get your Triesteth. I'm so very tired, and my wing hurts. Please? If it's not too much trouble, that is. I... I'm sorry, I meant to find you, but you're so far away, and my sister is angry.
Her voice was perfect. He knew her just as she knew him, and it was love. "She needs me," he half-choked to Aerden and Orry, eyes only on the precious baby with the drooping wing. It was the first time he'd felt needed in a very long time. He'd been lonely without many close friends--D'zol had eaten up so much of his time during Candidacy he'd rather failed to make any deeper friendships, and he'd been so crushed with heartache after they split, he'd continued to struggle. But Triesteth--perfect, beautiful, most wonderful Triesteth--was not just his friend, but his lifemate. The weight of knowing he would never have to walk the world alone, of knowing that he had found the missing piece was life changing.
"I'm here, Triesteth, I'm here. You have nothing to apologize for!" He hastily reassured, dropping down to where the little green sat waiting for him. To see her up close was to know love and true acceptance. Careful of her wing, he wrapped arms around the neck of his green, and hugged her tight. The little green melted against him, burrowing her head beneath his chin, wrapping her good wing just as lovingly and carefully around him. For a long moment, the two simply shared that moment of Impression, knowing one anothers hearts and mind, and relishing it.
But the pain in her wing, and the worry about her upset sister, eventually won the day. "Let's get you to a dragonhealer, and then we can eat." He hoisted himself up, the little green cradled lovingly within his arms. She was heavy--but he wasn't going to make her walk and drag her wing all the way over to the healers. Especially not with the fear of some of her clutchmates covering her like a shroud. Nothing was going to harm her, not if he had his way. He might not be the wisest of men, but he certainly knew how to hold his own.
Only if it's no trouble, Mine. I... I can wait, as long as is needed. She gave a small creel to echo her sincerity.
R'thell was having none of it. "Nonseness, love. We'll get it tended to immediately." he was his everything, and he a new man, indeed. Every heartache, every passing Turn he had pined; every tear shed, every moment without her was worth this. He'd do it all again in heartbeat, just to find Her. And with that, he moved off the Sands, precious cargo bundled up within his arms. Surely, the dragonhealers would be ready to assist... Even as her eyes did turn covetously towards the nearby food.

Eliaza
And just like that, the gold was gone again, but what an experience. What a moment to hang on to! Eliaza might very well never wash her hands again. She certainly studied them for a moment as if hoping some of the shine from the dragonet had rubbed off on her. Then she looked up at Alisaide and simply laughed.
"What does that mean? We're not supposed to have a party on the Sands, and yet if a gold dragon, however small, says we should be relaxing and doing just that, what does it mean? Which rule do we follow? I'm so confused!"
She wasn't, really. She was, however, giddy.
----
Ollandin
Ollandin nodded several times, eagerly, in agreement. "I'm with you. Blue. Blue should be next. It can't be too much longer before at least one of them gets tired of showing off. It's ...like a race between them, right?" Like a little friendly rivalry between a pair of twins, f'rinstance.

Aerden
The wounded little green finally seemed too tired to go on, sitting down after her brave trek across the sands. Rasthell's words sunk in after a moment, and Aerden felt only the briefest flicker of surprise. "Go, go!" He urged, not wanting the man to linger even a moment longer on their behalf. Rasthell had waited so long, he knew, and he'd struggled with his own internal demons despite the gentle affability he offered to each and every person he met.
Aerden could only watch solemnly as he carried his lifemate off the sands, proud of him--but also hoping that the baby's injury wasn't as grievous as it seemed. "I'm happy for him." He spoke softly, glancing over to Orry with a slight smile. "I think he really needed that. Couldn't have happened to a better guy.
--
Bukichi
After shoving aside another boy, the bronze gazed at... Zhaydegan. A flicker of surprise went through him--but that was all Bukichi permitted himself to feel. Good. They'd found one another.... and so had the wounded green, from the looks of the man rushing across the sands to her.
He focused silently on the other dragonets--and it was hard not to notice the blues, posturing and posing as they were.
--
Oranie
"She's so quick!" Oranie unconsciously voiced Juhvek's thoughts, watching as the baby careened into some Candidates before joyfully bounding off once more. So much energy.... Elibrie's comment was enough to make her laugh a little, admiring both blue brothers. "Oh, they absolutely do. Look at them." They were certainly going to charm everyone here.
She glanced as someone rushed to scoop up the injured green, not hesitating to make a soft, relieved noise. "Oh, I'm so glad she found Hers." Now she could be tended to...
--
Serrekhar
The big man didn't say anything else, but he did let out a small sigh. It was probably for the best. The dragons knew, right?
--
Ollanmar
"Or before they switch to a new kind of race." Ollanmar absolutely agreed. Maybe they'd compete to see who could find Theirs first! And there was totally a pair of awesome, excellent guys right here, ready to admire them.
He wasn't hopeful or anything, naaaah, never.

Aelyx - Western - She/Her
Tyanan was met with a welcoming and grateful smile, using his support to rest on one leg, instead of both. She only spoke for a second, "Thanks, Tyanan. I just need a hand staying on foot." She knew the fear many other candidates were going through, and was currently trying to deal with her own. Let one be for her, perhaps, as it had been for Ratshell. She was....26 now. Time was passing, but at the same time, as long as they babies found theirs? Aelyx was happy for them. Even if it meant risk.
