Deep in the Fairy Wonderland, a beautiful fountain has been decorated to match the theme. This fountain has been here for years, but there’s something different about it beyond just the little stars and lights that have been set up around it. The fountain is filled with coins from wishes, though there seem to be a few strange, foreign coins. Underneath one of the lower parts of the fountain, hidden in an ornately carved swirl, is a small golden bell with long golden chain dangling from it. If rung, a beautiful, tinkling sound echoes around the fountain as if many little bells are ringing. There is a faint hint of laughter hidden in the chiming bells. Amidst the tinkling bells and laughter, a little voice that sounds far away seems to ask for a wish. Whether or not one is requested, after a moment the song of the bells begins to fade. If the bell is rung again, nothing strange happens and it functions simply as a normal bell however, for the rest of the night, you hear the sound of giggling and tinkling bells following behind you.
(ooc: takes place after the eventual conclusion of this, where Hokkaido and Aomori get spooked and get separated from each other)
Hokkaido was in a bit of a bind.
Following the events of earlier, where they had encounters the shimmering... ghost? Stranger? Whatever it was, it had sent both twins running in both directions after Aomori’s plan to ‘beat it away’ hadn’t quite turned out the way they were hoping it would, with Hokkaido using some of her own magic to give herself a ‘second wind’ after she couldn’t run any further. Now she was lost in the fairy wonderland, with no idea as to what to do next.
There were a few options, of course- she could use the phone Rune gave her, to call for help like she thought of doing earlier, but then again the only people she had in her contacts were... Rune, and her own twin. With no idea where she was, Hokkaido didn’t know how to give directions, or what the range on the phones even was (were they like walkie-talkies?). She could power down, but then what would that accomplish? Hokkaido hadn’t seen any other people around ever since she and her twin sister had ventured into the fairy land, and she couldn’t really just tell the truth about what happened, either. She had brought her Switch with her, though, so maybe she could send Satori a message via Dodo Mail?
Honestly, Hokkaido wasn’t sure how she was going to get herself out of this mess, and as someone who tended to immediately accept her doomed fate when things went wrong, it was rather had to resist the temptation to just simply accept her fate, that this was where she was going to live out the rest of her days. Distantly, she thought about those stories where overly adventurous children went exploring in places they shouldn’t, and were punished for their actions. She wondered, would she eventually fade from everyone’s memory? Would anyone even remember her? Perhaps the faeries would turn her into a shrub- then she’d truly be the cursed twin.
Ah, this was her life from now on.
