This fountain has been here for years, but there’s something different about it beyond just the little stars and lights that have been set up around it. The fountain is filled with coins from wishes, though there seem to be a few strange, foreign coins. Underneath one of the lower parts of the fountain, hidden in an ornately carved swirl, is a small golden bell with long golden chain dangling from it. If rung, a beautiful, tinkling sound echoes around the fountain as if many little bells are ringing. There is a faint hint of laughter hidden in the chiming bells. Amidst the tinkling bells and laughter, a little voice that sounds far away seems to ask for a wish. Whether or not one is requested, after a moment the song of the bells begins to fade. If the bell is rung again, nothing strange happens and it functions simply as a normal bell however, for the rest of the night, you hear the sound of giggling and tinkling bells following behind you. Ryan meandered back into the park where he'd buried his own wish from the tree earlier. As he'd passed in, he'd picked up his second star charm from the festival, and hummed lightly. Different colors, neat. The park had looked quite beautiful all decorated for the fest and he wanted to have a better look around. He ooh'd in awe when he saw the fountain, decorated beautifully, and hurried over to it, drinking in all the details. Circling the whole thing ensured that he spotted the bell in the lower half or so, and he squatted down to get a better look. He hummed for a moment before reaching out and gently ringing it. It had to be his imagination, he thought, but that thought didn't make the sounds sound any less real. First off, the bell was beautiful, but it sounded more like many bells were ringing. And... some kind of faint laughter. Just barely, he caught some words he was sure he had to have imagined, considering the festival's theme, but... "Another wish, huh?" Ryan said pensively, laying back on the tiles of the fountain's edge, "I guess at a star festival there's a lot of wish theming to be expected. Even if some of it isn't centered on stars. That's what they're there for, I guess. Stars, I mean." He inhaled sharply, exhaled slowly, a hand trailing through the water and ignoring the annoying voice in the back of his head telling him it was a bad idea to put his hand in that water. He'd live, probably. Assuming there was no flesh-eating bacteria in the water or something, which there probably wasn't, if Ryan was being honest with himself, but he liked to think about crazy things like that. What would he do if there was such a problem. Go to the freaking hospital, duh, now focus, you idiot, Ryan thought to himself, rolling his eyes. "Well, I'm already solving one of my wishes on my own," he mused, "I suppose I can ask for one that's a little far-fetched. I could really use a friend. It's so hard to make them, y'know?" He didn't know who he was talking to. The voice that whispered something about wishes, he guessed, even though he was fairly certain he'd imagined that. Unless faeries and genies were real. He'd love to meet the genie from Aladdin, but he doubted he would, even if they were real. Sputtering his lips, he forced his thoughts back onto some semblance of a straight track. If it was a faerie or genie listening, he'd probably have to be careful with his wording. "I mean, I don't wanna go all... Dr Frankenstein and literally make a friend, or anything," he clarified idly, "But it would be nice to meet someone nice who I could befriend. Someone who makes it pretty easy. Once I get started, over that hurdle,I should be totally fine. I guess I wish for that push I need. I dunno, I'm probably over-complicating it." He sighed heavily and sat up, wiping his hand off on the side of his skirt. Ick.

Anniliese had seen a couple of fountains in her life time. The mall had two one in the middle in front of the food court and a small one near the font out by the bus stop. She saw a neighbor had one in the font of their house and her grandma had one in her backyard behind the Koi pond. But none of them were as beautiful this one that was in front of her. She took out her phone and took a few pictures of it. She also noticed that she was not alone. There was a boy there inspecting it too. She didn't want to get in his way so waited by patiently while he seemed to ooh and ahh over it. When he ringed a bell on the fountain she stepped a little further to listen to it. It made the sound of not one bell but many bells. And... laughter? quite odd. Was it coming from the boy? He was now saying something and had his finger in the water. But it was hard for Anniliese to hear not only him but the strange voice that was whispering to her. Something about a wish. ((199))

Ryan blinked from the dizziness of sitting up and looked around, eyes focusing on the girl who stood there, watching him. "Oh, uh, hello," he said with an awkward wave, reaching up to scratch at his nose slightly. How much had she heard?

After Blair had made her wish she had wandered around the festival a bit more, checking to see the shops that they had and to see if there would be anything interesting to buy as a souvenir. Sure, she had lived here for quite a while, but she hadn't really bothered with the festival before since it didn't seem to fit her, but this year she had decided to go and while it turned out to be interesting, she wasn't sure if she would come back. At least not yet. She did enjoy herself, but just not as much as she wanted to. She had been looking at a stained glass piece of sorts, wondering if she should buy it to hang in her window when some lighting caught her eye. Turning around she could see that the fountain had been decorated. From here it looked quite beautiful and she couldn't help but find herself moving towards it, wondering what it looked like up close with all of the decorations. When she got closer she could see the coins in the water. Now that was something that she was used to, and quickly tossed one in, wishing that there would be peace for once in her lifetime. Ah well, she could only hope that it would happen, but unfortunately it depended on too many people who thought otherwise. She couldn't help but sigh and look at the other two people who had been hanging around the fountain. "You guys make a wish here too?"

Anniliese smiled slightly at the boy. "Why hello there. How are you?" She noticed that they were not alone. She turned to look at the newcomer. "Oh no I haven't made a wish yet. Still thinking of what I want to wish for." ((43))

Ariel was wandering around, mainly to get her third star charm.
The city was really well decorated, and it was pleasant to see all this stars. The Fairy Wonderland theme had made quite a lovely scenery. She didn't go toward the fountain an lot though so she decided she will do that as she had already put her wish on the tree, and was still thinking about what wish to grant.
There were already people there. She could spot coins in the water. Oh so we can make wish here too? She thought.
She waited to see if the others were doing it too. Would be embarrassing if she misunderstood.
In the wait she rang the golden bell she could spot in the lower part of the fountain. She heard it when coming closer earlier, and it was a nice sound with many bells and strangely a laughter, she was wondering if it was one of the present. But the voice was small and was asking for a wish so probably not. But she would like to check again so she rang it but nothing, just a bell sound.
Strange....

Ryan nodded, moving away from the bell so the other newcomer could ring it. "Yeah, I made my wish," he said with a small smile. He wondered if this was the fountain's way of granting his wish for friends. People just coming up and initiating conversation right after he had certainly seemed like it. "Can't tell ya though, then it won't be true," he joked, "Isn't that one of the usual rules?"

Ariel was kind of still hearing the gigglings and tinkling bells sound like it was in her head but she didn't understood where it was coming from. Well she had seen or heard so many strande things in her life she decided to not think too much about it.
"Oh so we can make a wish here too" She said she heard the boy's reply.
"Sorry' she said then, it was not polite to enter other people discussion after all.

There was now a third person. Anniliese shyly nodded her head at the new person. She looked back at the fountain. She wasn't still wasn't sure what she wanted to wish for. She took out a coin from her pocket and turned it over in her hand. She had a quick thought. She knew what she was going to wish for. She was going to wish that the newcomers good wishes and peace and love and happiness ((77))

One of the person who was here, a girl nodded at her, she politely nodded back. Then she saw she took a coin out of her pocket and was turning it in her hand. Guess Ariel got her answer and she could make a wish too. She think a lot about it, she already made one at the wishing tree, and helped realizing one too. So maybe she could wish again for vegetarian food but that may be a little selfish. So she waited for the girl to make her wish. Taking a coin in her hand too.
She will wish for her loved one to be always safe and healthy. And she will wish for the city to be peacefull as the merchant she met the other night had made quite an omnimous comment about the futur of Earth.
And as she wait her turn she think that maybe she could be a little selfish and wish for friends. She really would like some.

Blair smirked at the others, and gave a small wave at the girl who had joined them. Well, now it didn't seem so weird to be making a wish at the fountain. She took her own coin out and looked at Ryan, "Of course. Though you hope it reaches someone you know? If you make a wish and no one hears it, then I, at least, sometimes wonder how it's supposed to be fulfilled." And with that she turned to the fountain, closed her eyes, made her wish and flipped the coin into it. She turned to the new girl and waved her hand. "Totally all right! I know it can be hard to enter a conversation sometimes, so you're totally fine!' She said, giving the other woman a grin. "Besides, the more the merrier right?"She took another moment to look at the fountain. "The decorations are amazing this year. Can't help but be impressed by them."

Ryan nodded slowly at Blair. "Yeah, that makes sense. Someone overhearing isn't the same as telling, though. Keep it hush hush." He grinned, waving slightly at the other girl. "It is amazing," he agreed, looking around. "I love it."

As the girl waved to her and told her it's totally fine to enter the conversation, Ariel felt like her wish may already start to be granted. Not that starting a conversation would make them friends but it's alreaedy a good start and a step forward for her.
Waving back at both of them she enter the conversation.
