The air in the Homewood's was cold for summer and though Aiyana could not tell the exact time through the think trees, she was sure it was well into morning by now. The sounds around her were both familiar and not so familiar. She had spent so much time way for this place now that she would have to relearn her the things that are now just distant memories. Walking back into the Homewood was bring up many emotions Aiyana was not sure she was ready for. But she really did not know where else to go. There was nothing left for her where she had come form now that her parents had returned to the Great Tree.
They had live a quite and secluded life in the forest beyond the Homewood. But that had left Aiyana with no noul or familiar else to become friends with. She was a shy and timid doe but she like to at the very least watch others; total isolation was not something she enjoyed. With sigh looked around her surroundings, she had some how found herself at the edge of a forest was and sand. "Umm what this place called again?" she question herself out loud trying to remember. Her mother and father had once told her she was sure but a lot had happened in the place few weeks. Add that to the fact that she had not sleep much and one could understand the fuzziness of the brain. "The Barrens!" she yelled, which was really no more the whisper to others, with victory.
She could tell by the looks of thing this was a well worn path that many a noul had crossed which honestly made her want to run in the opposite direction. "What is Hazar comes this way too?" With that simple thought and lake of sleep she took off. She was so not ready for that buck. She did not make it far however. With a hard and loud thud she ran straight into a sold mass of some kind. "Ouch!" Her mind squeaky but she only said "Uff" in no more then a whisper out loud.
