Strange things appear in Destiny City all the time, so nothing seems out of the ordinary about what might look like discarded trash, broken glass, or pieces of broken jewelry. If anyone were to lean in for a closer inspection, they might find a beautiful, gemstone like object that is shaped a bit like a star. They come in an array of colors and almost seem to have some sort of light sparkling in them.

Tochi was enjoying the festivities thus far, when she had the time to enjoy them, that was, in between her vtuber stuff and… the other assorted idol activities that would have happened if it weren’t for certain overbearing older sisters. Honestly, that week with Rune was one of the best of her life, aside from that fateful day she found out she was a magical space idol, anyway. Having her fellow idol fan rooming with her, trying on clothes, and recording song covers together? More of that, please.

Among the varying festivities she had managed to participate in, Tochi had been lucky to acquire one of the star charms that were being given out at the different businesses and vendor stalls. An emerald star charm hung from her bag, where she had attached it for now, though certainly, if she could get her hands on more, Tochi planned on trying to incorporate them into a piece of jewelry, or maybe a costume? She wasn’t quite sure yet.

As she continued her stroll through town, a small glimmer on the ground caught Tochi’s attention. Leaning down to get a better look, she found a colorful small star-shaped object, almost like a gemstone, that perhaps had come from someone’s necklace or bracelet… maybe. Well, Tochi didn’t always believe in the concept of finders keepers, and with a small object like this, it would be impossible to really identify the true owner, should there be one. It was sparkly, though, and Tochi liked sparkly, glittery things that reminded her of stars- which this thing already had the benefit of being shaped like one.

Getting back to her feet, Tochi pocketed the stone for now. She wasn’t quite certain what to do with it just yet, but she was pretty sure she’d think of something soon enough. Maybe attach it to the charm? Maybe make a piece of jewelry with it as the centerpiece? Tochi would have to look up some more DIY how-to videos on youtube, to get a better idea, but it didn’t seem like it’d be too complicated to figure out!

Humming a little tune, Tochi started to resume her walk around the town, as she pondered shooting a text to Rune about her findings. Truth be told, she wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted to text her about, but, in the event that finding this little gem was fate, perhaps Rune should check to see if it was maybe some sort of magical trinket? It didn’t exactly give off any sort of magical energy, but then again, it could have been a dormant kind of energy, the kind that only let out when circumstances allowed… whatever those may be.

It was also entirely possible she was just overthinking things, mixing up reality with her idol shows and isekai series, like Morie tended to scold her about? The usual lecturing about needing to focus more on her studies, especially with this being her last year of high school., and needing to focus on pursuing more ‘realistic’ goals…

Well, whatever- for now, Tochi had been very fortunate today with her findings, and for her, that was good enough!
