The Destiny City Reservoir opened about a year ago and is an easy escape from the big city. It’s a five minute drive outside of the Eastern side of town and features clear water and sandy beaches--although, the sand here is notorious for squeaking when you step on it. It’s a hot spot for all fun summer activities, but it’s been back in the news recently for mysterious reports of some strange, aquatic monster. Some accounts say they’ve spotted a twenty foot long, snake like creature capable of rearing a long neck high above the water. It’s hard to tell if the videos are doctored, but there are too many rumors to dismiss easily. Something strange might be lurking deep in the water. Are you the type to investigate this or is it enough to dampen your waterfront plans? While you may not ever actually interact with the supposed cryptid, you can spot a strange creature in the distance. And, who knows what youma are crawling in the area, anyway?
She. Hated. Patrolling. Alone. It was terrifying and unpleasant, uncomfortable and terrifying, and thje young woman loathed going out to deal by herself, but, after talking to the handsome, precious, kind Mauvian, she was forcing herself out alone. Reynard seemed to disappear entirely anyhow, and the remaining twin was beginning to feel like the descriptions twinless twins gave. It was horrible, it was vcruel... And she couldn't forgive Rey for just abandoning her in the middle of a powered war. She felt hurt, abanmdoned. She moved into her own place, taking her belongings and spitefully stealing a couple of his, and it was still unpleasant. So p[erhasps she was going out to the Resevoir to escape her problems. And she was terriofied, but she was living in perpetual terror anymore.
Sailor Limosa parked, and slid out, skirt crinkling and unfiolding lazily as she slowly looked to the noon sky. It was ideal for a picnis or a swim -- was her fuku waterproof? -- and slowly, she began to walk for the beach, mind lost in thought. Her eyes closed and she sighed, looking down silently as she stretched and began walking. Brown eyes were hidden by long blonde lashes,. pale as her hair, and she sat by the water, ignoring the sand as it squeaked and squealed at her step. eveb thoough she was a slender thing. Sailor Limosa looked out at the water, watching the air wash over the air, rippling and dancing in the light as the cool, crisp water invited the aquatic-themed senshi to slip in for a swim. Limosa however, looked out over the horizon, aND SIGHED. tRAIN. she closed her eyes, asnd, at last, the girl allowed herself to cry.
She didn't know anybody powerted,, her brother ran off to, likely, chase tail, abd she was left feeling miserably aloine and hurting, the woman sobbing into her hands before the change in water sounds drew her ear, remiinded her why she was there. Limosa was oin her feet as she saw some small lines rise from the water, whorling and spinning like an octopus or squid spoinning in the sea, but somehow part in the air, and the senshi blinked once, twice, and then took a breath, looking down. She sighed, bending and shoved her delicately ribboned pumps -- they'd do no good herte -- and, with a running start announced with a sq ueak squeak squeak SQUEAK! she leapt into the water without hewr usual panic and thought, asnd swam. Swiimming wasn't Limosa's usual hobby, in fact, the senshi wasn't ofyten near water like childhood, but the grace remained, the girl occasionally surfgacing to breathe before dipping again, and she swam for the beast with an odd sort of grace, riding and dipping occasionally to breathe. Midway through, the beast seemed to disappear, and Limosa swam for the monster's spoace before looking around. There was nopthing but a dark blob deep below, and it seemed to be smaller, probably up to her waist without the tentacles, and the senshi od Octop[odes blinked, and snarled, a fist rising from water and splashing down, but there was nothing as she looked towards short, blinking.
So far. She'd done it, by herself, unquestioningly, and looked to her now sandy pumps before turning, swimming fior shore at a lazier pace before beginning to wring her hair out. Her fuku was sdoaked, her bow floppy and withered, but the collar and skirt glistyened harmlessly in the sunlightr,. and the senshi decided taking her shoes off had been wise. The woman sighed, shaking her head, long hair protesting the soaking, as she considered if she mighty start styling it, or if she might get a new style. Limosa looked out to see the odd crteature rise again, and sighed, ffrowning. Nobody else seemed present, senshiwise, and the beast she came out to see the rumoured beast... But she'd done as much as her courage, frail and weak, allowed, and the senshi powered down in hiding before running to her car nervously in shorts, a tank, and sandals, anxiety werlling as she made to go home.
There was something up here,.. but for her? She couldn't solve it, and Cherish drove for home immediately, face ashen and scared. Today tested her nerverrs.
