It’s a five minute drive outside of the Eastern side of town and features clear water and sandy beaches--although, the sand here is notorious for squeaking when you step on it. It’s a hot spot for all fun summer activities, but it’s been back in the news recently for mysterious reports of some strange, aquatic monster. Some accounts say they’ve spotted a twenty foot long, snake like creature capable of rearing a long neck high above the water. It’s hard to tell if the videos are doctored, but there are too many rumors to dismiss easily. Something strange might be lurking deep in the water. Are you the type to investigate this or is it enough to dampen your waterfront plans? While you may not ever actually interact with the supposed cryptid, you can spot a strange creature in the distance. And, who knows what youma are crawling in the area, anyway?
Arnica had heard a rumor about something lurking at the Reservoir, and he had spent so long trying to understand--to debunk--all of these urban legends that he found himself falling into old habits and sneaking out. He'd brought his camera and tape recorder; the camera hung from a thick strap around his neck and the tape recorder was on, safely nestled in a pocket on his chest.
The only thing different from old times was that he was powered.
Now, he had the means to defend himself if the rumor was true. Which, it wasn't, he was almost certain of. They never were. And even if someone saw something, he was certain it was a youma.
And yet, he'd been lurking in the woods for so long; he was usually calm and patient and rational.
...But something about these woods was creepy. He'd seen shadows he couldn't explain, heard noises that sounded absolutely otherworldly. He was wondering if he'd made a mistake, perhaps, when he heard something behind him.
Already on high alert, he acted irrationally; he hadn't felt the energy signature, didn't know what was behind him--but he attacked the figure that he could make out in the night with the first thing that came to mind--his senshi magic.Quote: Arnica's Magic: Arnica waves his hand and a three foot ring of Mandragora flowers sprout around a single target within his line of vision. Anyone caught within this ring will immediately feel themselves falling subject to Mandragora poisoning, which can include blurred vision, dry mouth, dizziness, headache, nausea, feeling flushed, vomiting, increased heart rate, hyperactivity or hallucinations. Players do not need to feel all of these symptoms but should be subject to at least two for the duration of his magic, but it is up to their discretion which symptoms they inherit as well as how severely they are affected by them. The target can leave the ring of flowers but will still feel the symptoms until the duration ends. He can use this magic three times and it lasts for 25 seconds.

Etamin was walking the woods, also trying to debunk the rumor, when he sensed something dark in front of him. But before he was able to attack, he was attacked by flowers, that wrapped around him and.. poisoned him. "Argh!" He immediately used his attack in return as a matter of instinct: Super Sailor Scout Attack: Pharaoh's Plague -Directions: Write Curse in Hieroglyphics in air. In English reads, "Blind and deaf as Pharaoh, In death, you will be, Until count of thirty, Cause you would not listen to me." -Effects: Blinds and deafens enemy for 25 seconds -Uses: 2 Etamin collasped groaning on the ground.

The response was unprecedented, and if Arnica had any intention of apologizing, the words died swiftly on his lips as he was struck with darkness and silence. "Ah," he grunted, but when he couldn't even hear himself say it a panic spread through him. He had never considered himself claustrophobic, and yet now he felt like everything was caving in, crushing him. He couldn't see or hear so he kept hitting his ears, rubbing his eyes, trying to awaken something he could work with.
It failed, overall; he backed up so quickly that he nearly tripped and he hit a tree behind him with a loud grunt. Just when the desperation was kicking in at it's worst, it all came rushing back. His hearing returned before his vision and it felt like loud popping in his ears; his vision remained faded for a few seconds but even as it returned he blurted, "What was that? --Don't do that!"

Etamin was on his knees, recovering from the poison. When he had the strength to, he forced out the words, "Yeah.. same to you... buddy!" His joints and muscles were still locking in place, when some sort of Monster from the Crypt (or the Resevoir) came up behind the other guy, like some sort of giant jellyfish/crab. There was very little Etamin could to help as he was still affected by Arnica's Posion. He forced his mouth to move as the creature attempted to place a slimly tentacle on Arnica shoulder. "Look.. out!"

Arnica seemed a bit surprised at the change in mood and turned behind him, alarmed by the strange creature behind him. It wasn't what he was expecting--and he couldn't even be happy that he'd actually found the thing.
"What the--?"
He stumbled backwards, avoiding the strange tentacle. He was close to Etamin by then and took up an almost defensive stance, as if he wanted to protect him from the beast. "--I'm sorry, I didn't mean to attack you. You startled me. Are you good?" he asked, watching as the creature stared them down.
He didn't want a fight with a thing he didn't understand; he had just been hoping to get a glimpse of it, not get its blood on his hands.
And he wanted to make it home tonight--he didn't want to even think he might lose this fight. He held out a hand to Etamin to help him up. "Come on, get up..."

Etamin struggled up. With his dwindling power, he used the last of his attacks on the creature: Super Sailor Scout Attack: Pharaoh's Plague -Directions: Write Curse in Hieroglyphics in air.
