Do all kinds of RP. I have some Stars who are great for random or helping flesh personalities. Will Not DoPoly groups unless stated that the character is open to it.
Lifemates without RP after the agreement is made. The story should never stop, even if it's me asking questions about the mate's opinion about something for a plot I want to do. The mate is a part of my Star's life and thus shouldn't be silent while I continue the story.
Reminders. I keep track of everything, though, so all you need do is look at the front page of my journal. Writing is an important hobby for me. I need to write semi-regularly or I just get really sad and unmotivated. I lose the reason to get up in the morning and just plain struggle a lot more. Writing gives me an outlet and keeps my mental self more stable. This is not to say I expect people to answer me really fast. Just understand that it's an important thing to help me function better. Please don't toss things like lifemates at me if you don't wish to put the effort into it or may forget you even did. I don't want to feel like any of my characters are stuck in a story that's not moving. I love writing solos and creating stories among my own group. My Discord is Hoshi#1462.

Personality Aside the flower Miroslava wears in her mane, this Nova is all tomboy. Personality Hall is a special case. For some unknown reason he believes he was special picked by some higher power because of his pure white coat to spread that purity around as much as he can. And nothing is going to make him think otherwise. But only to other pale mares. If you have a coat that is even the littlest bit too dark for his tastes-which is to say anything not a pastel color-he has no time of day for you. The paler the coat, the better your treatment. Such is the case with Kyouka Kuze. Her white coat suggests to him she's someone special he was sent out to protect. Of course, he is more interested in her than in how he can go about helping her. Though indeed suave and charming, it is undecided exactly how much of a lady's man he really is.

Personality Holden comes off as a grumpy hermit. It was his choice to sever himself from others for research purposes. His mother was always interrupting him in his youth. He moved away to his current home to continue his research and experiments in peace.
When someone threatens to get close to Holden, he puts up his barriers, keeping them at arm's length of his heart. He is not cruel, but he gives them the cold shoulder, making them know as clearly as he can that they are not wanted here and it would be best to move on. Never does he get violent. When he is threatened physically, he tends to throw potions at the offender until they leave. Since becoming a hermit, he no longer seems to enjoy the presence of others. Preffering instead his various objects of study.

Personality Soft is usually the first word that comes to mind. Ami not only has a soft voice, but she is gentle towards all living things around her. When she walks, it is as if she does so in a way that doesn't hinder the plants beneath her feet. Flowers, especially, get her sweet touch. Where there are flowers, she will delicately walk around each one, not denting even a leaf of their stems. If she does, she is at once aware of the pain that she has caused it and tries to make it right by bringing it fresh water. Dead animals are given burials, though she doesn't stop the course of nature. Predators must feed on the hooves to keep the balance of nature whole. She knows this, respects, it, and even slightly worships it. Life and death is both to her something to celebrate, an important milestone in everyone's life. One should not be feared over the other. So it is safe to assume, as well, that Ami is spiritual. She has her particular beliefs, but is not unwelcome to adapting the beliefs of others into her system. So long as they don't disrupt the natural laws of nature.
Though sweet tempered, Ami has a strong side to her. She knows what she believes in and she sticks by it. She knows right from wrong. Despite not being a strong-or even tall-mare, if Ami sees something done that she believes is wrong, she will step forward. If she gets threatened, she will often stick her ground unless she perceives the situation to be too dangerous. More often than not, she stands her ground despite danger. Not being able to let an injustice go without someone, anyone, having opposed it.
Background Long ago, Ami had taken a vow of solitude. It was for spiritual reasons, to calm and find herself. She had grown up in a religious herd that she opposed for most of her life, not wanting to be tied down to any higher being and follow their beliefs as if they were her own. Without a choice. She wanted that choice. When it came to festivals and rituals, she would for the most part stay away, finding some quiet corner to hide herself until it was over. All so she didn't have to participate.
When she reached of age for adulthood, she became eligible for a special quest that most her age choose to take. It required the individual to go outside the boundaries of the herd they weren't allowed to leave until now and see the world. To live a life of solitude for a time until they feel it's time to return. It's to strengthen the body and the mind. To pin them against uncertainties and teach them to enjoy their own company.
For Ami, however, it was a way to escape her herd she had come to resent so much. Telling them she wished to better understand their ways, she left on it, vowing to never return.
As luck would have it, the journey made her realize how unfair she had been. It gave her time to reflect upon her life. How she, never once, gave her herd a chance. Embarrassed, she refused to go back. Instead, she remembered what she could of their beliefs and took them for herself.
But she also couldn't go back because she had come to enjoy her time alone. Her herd was one of constant companionship. It was nice to be by herself for a change.

Background Torrhen was born a Stark, given at his birth the duty of watching over a future son of an ally to the family. It was a job to solidify the family alliance, similar to how a marriage usually did. The boy was to be born shortly after Torrhen was nearly ready to leave his foal days. Beside his future charge he was raised, the importance of being loyal impeded deeply into his brain. For a Stark such as he, this duty was a blood oath. He would serve this younger colt until the day one of them died. Then his hooves would be free but never to find another to share such a strong bond with. It was too special a bond. Oh, yes. Those who had such a charge die on them, first, lived on to guard over many others, but it was never quite the same as the first.
Torrhen, like many before him, took to this job with all of his being. He grew a special bond with his charge like many before and after him would. They were like brothers. Where the younger went, Torrhen was sure to follow.
But during a battle, Torrhen lost sight of the other stallion. When next spotted, he was laying dead with a fatal wound on his neck and belly. The sight of the one whose protection he was charged over so early in life took a toll on the stallion. Torrhen fled, allowing his relatives to believe him dead. He stopped going by his birth name and started using the nickname Shaggydog. Even his personality changed, as the guilt rode on his back all those years alone.

Personality Rarely showing emotion-not that you could see, either way-Scheherazade is the perfect A'D mare. It is not a common sight to see her away from Shah Ryar or without her guards when she is. Very loyal, she doesn't do anything without the consent of her King, obeying his every whim. This is enough to drive many the feminist mare crazy, as Scheherazade is not a submissive and weak individual. Baring great intelligence, she seeks more to focus this on aiding her King when he needs her council. Or going about plans in a way that makes it appear like she had nothing to do with it.
Often quiet and out of the way, Scheherazade is not the way she appears. Difficult to phase, she holds a level head during the most extreme of situations. Proof of this is within her background. Putting her life on the line for a plan to sooth the hurting heart of her Sultan.
Scheherazade, to the surprise of most, is deceitful. Not in a bad way. She doesn't deceive others for her own selfish needs or amusement. What she does is more playing a part in a play. Knowing it is better for her, she behaves like Shah Ryar makes all the decisions in the marriage. Which he does, most of the time. If she needs or wants something, she asks him, first.
Background Scheherazade is the daughter of the Vizier to the Sultan. At least, she used to be. Jafar, her father, was the adviser to Shah Ryar before her famous tale began. She was young at the time. Knowing what his daughter was like and fearing for her life, Jafar sent her away on a large pilgrimage to keep her away from the city until the whole affair was done with. Unfortunately, word of what was going on reached her and she urged her caravan to return to the city. There, against her father's pleas, she volunteered to be the next wife of Shah Ryar, knowing full well what would await her the next morning. In a clever scheme involving her sister prompting Scheherazade, the young mare began her 1001 nights with the Sultan, telling him a new story each night after finishing the cliffhanger she ended off with the last story. This kept her alive until she was finished, succeeding not only in stopping his tyranny of mares. But also capturing his heart.
The people, however, grew tired long ago of living in fear of their daughters. Seeing the time was right, they revolted some time after the stories ended. They couldn't forgive and forget. So many of their daughters were dead because of the paranoia of their King. Managing to escape, the two found themselves in the oasis they now call home. Scheherazade, not knowing at the time of their departure that she was pregnant, gave birth to their sons shortly after making a home of the new land. They gathered about them other Stars who wished to join together and thrived in the oasis.

Background Diya was born to a controlling father and a timid mother, the only boy in a nest of four. Personality Very unlike his father, Tahmid perhaps takes more after his mother's side. Tahmid thinks Diya is wasting his own heritage, not following in the footsteps of a fighter. Anubis' Hieratic Nefertari, The One With Toxic Eyes

Personality Death shaped Nefertari into a more cynical and cold Star who can no longer feel love for anyone. What she does feel is nothing but determined revenge. Determination to take her brother down and determination to gain back the empire she was denied. The rage has long since been exhausted out of her system, leaving the usual cunning and calculating personality. Nefertari knows what must be done and remaining angry is not going to do it.
Background She was the daughter of a Pharaoh and Queen. Not in line for the throne in the beginning, but as time based by, her father deemed her more worthy of the role of leading his people over her brother. So he transferred the responsibility onto his daughter's shoulders. At the sight of his reign being taken from him, her brother devised a plan that quickly ended her reign and gave it back to him: He poisoned her. To make matters worse, when she was sealed away inside her tomb to await her journey to the afterlife, he broke in and dishonored her mummy by destroying it, ripping her bandages and scattering the treasures hidden within. As a final horrible act, he sealed her mouth shut so she could not eat, drink, or speak in the afterlife.
None of this went unnoticed by the dead Queen. Before she could even reach the desired land of the dead, she was whisked back down to a state of limbo for many years, to stay and slowly sow her seeds of hate, anger, and bitterness. She was released from this prison when some unfortunate humans read from a book inside her tomb.

Personality (Think of Benny from The Mummy!) There is little impressive about Mosenth. Though he is an odd one, he doesn't try to make his oddities stand out. Being of a height to hide easily even among the mares, he has perfected the ability to stay unseen. To be ordinary enough in other's eyes to be overlooked. But when he's caught doing something he shouldn't be, he offers his allegiance to anyone who catches him. Not being very powerful, he knows in most cases it's better to get a favor out of the way than risk being killed. Cowardly beyond a doubt, Mosenth will also use the influence of anyone powerful to his advantage. A good example would be Nefertari, the undead Pharaoh of his herd whom he serves. How loyal he is to her depends on how long she remains as powerful as she is.

Personality Ai is the opposite of the mother she got her name from. Where Nefertari is cunning and doesn't like making the same mistake twice, Ai prefers to jump into the action and ask the questions later. There's little she seems to enjoy more than a good fight, sparring with as many opponents a day as her body can handle. Despite all the action, her temper never seems to cool. The smallest things can set her off. Than offender beware. When Ai is wronged, she gets even, making it a goal in life to get the one who disturbed her back in double.

Personality Little bothers Taranis. Or seems to on the surface. Careful and comical, the young stallion, though having no desires to leave the Shadow herd permanently, does not share in the same delights as the rest do. Instead of making someone miserable, he prefers to make them laugh. Instead of making enemies, he makes friends. Instead of ignoring one's mistakes and pretending they didn't exist, he tries to make amends. In a world of schemers and secret army building, Taranis would seem out of place. It is unclear exactly why he stays. Perhaps he feels some duty to his father for raising him where his mother couldn't or wouldn't. Whatever Bellenus requires of him, Taranis will do and feel no guilt over it. He is able to put a screen over his heart and do what his father needs without much complaint. He sees nothing wrong in this.

Personality It is hard to say whether Yasmin has a kind heart. With the way she carries on, it is unlikely. Arrogant, she believes she is of some noble birth and brings good fortune to those she allows to own her. Considering her lifemate is the opposite of her, it can only be assumed he saw something in her she herself doesn't seem to realize. Nor those around her. Personality Deneb is best described as a good priest. Though I'm not sure yet where his religious believes lie. Likely where his mother's do, as he looks up to her.
The Nova is kind and intelligent, but easily distracted when in the face of new strangers. His life centers around learning from his mother and he is water bound, thus he doesn't meet many other than his mother and sisters. It is not uncommon for Deneb to forget such important parts of new conversation like giving his name in the excitement of someone new. He is more interested in learning all he can in the short time provided with his potentially new friend. This makes him seem naive and easily fooled. I am actually unsure if he truly is. He is intelligent, but he also does have little contact with other Stars.
What makes Deneb like a good priest is the way he behaves. He even speaks the way one would expect a priest to. He's always willing to help someone in need if it is in his grasp to do so. And if it won't endanger the one who wishes the help. He has a very strong sense of what is right and wrong. That alone keeps him from being pulled into being used by another. If he knows it to be wrong, he won't do it.

Personality Kyouka is a sweet, but very troubled mare. She is filled with such utter loneliness that it makes it difficult for her to sometimes even know her surroundings. But she tries to make the best of things. She's lived so long with only her known family for company she's grown used to it.
Background Kyouka comes from a land faraway, where she lived with many other Starborns in an Asian style mansion and temple. Her ancestors had fallen from the sky, but she and the rest of her family had been born on earth, inside the mansion. Her ancestors fixed it up and made it inhabitable by equines, a feat not difficult with Asian style sliding doors. They created their own religion and beliefs. One in particular consisted of tattooing a volunteer maiden with the pains of others to help them. Kyouka's people practiced this, only allowing females into the mansion and shrine. Kyouka's main duty was to provide more female heirs for her family. Nothing else. When the snow touched the earth, males were allowed to enter as visitors, with their sole purpose being to produce children with the daughters of the head. Being the only daughter to the Family Head, Yashuu, this was Kyouka's burden alone.
During one year, a stallion came to the mansion in hopes of learning what went on behind the doors. It was here he and Kyouka met and fell in love. She conceived and he promised, when it was time for him to leave, he would take her with him. But when the time came, he wasn't there. He had disappeared. Unknown to her, Yashuu had the male killed to sever dangerous ties with the outside world for her daughter. Because she never learned of this, Kyouka believed Akito would eventually return for her.
She bore a son. Males were not allowed to stay beyond four years old, so she had the colt smuggled outside to the nearest village for his safety. Yashuu allowed this to happen under her nose, for reasons unknown. With Kaname went a pair of earrings Akito had given his mother, telling her that she could hear him so long as she kept an earring for herself.
Years passed, Akito and Kaname didn't return. Kyouka had a daughter, Amane, who went on to become a Handmaiden. From a nearby village, a young woman, having survived a catastrophe that took out her entire village, volunteered to become the next Tattoo Priestess. Amane was charged with taking care of her. The pains of others were tattooed on Reika's skin for years. Once completed, she was pinned down in the Chamber of Thorns alongside all the other mares who had volunteered for the job. They were not dead. They were asleep.
Amane, having been told stories about Reika's friend from her village and what her mother told her about her brother, knew this friend to be her brother. As he held one of the earrings Kyouka had. Feeling pity, she sneaked him into the temple and down to the chamber to see Reika. He woke her, not realizing Yashuu was behind him. Yashuu, enraged by the illegal smuggling of a male inside the sacred temple, killed him before Reika's eyes. Reika, overcome by guilt, allowed the tattoos to enter her eyes, causing the Rift to open and spill out.
Kyouka, in the meantime, was shut away inside her room with one of the Handmaidens for company. She had grown so lonely over the years, she was on the verge of losing her mind. Pinning her hair on the wall around her mirror. Still believing Akito and Kaname would return. When the Rift spread and devoured everyone, she was the last left. Her Handmaiden having been ordered to stake Amane to the floor of the Abyss. Not wishing to stay and die, Kyouka braved the Abyss, ignoring the four bodies of the Handmaidens staked to the floor, and head straight for the Chamber of Thorns. There she found Reika and the body of the man who had started it all. Not knowing it was her long lost son, Kyouka spirited Reika away from the temple just moments before it was sealed away completely from the real world. But not without a price. The inhabitants of the mansion and temple had been sealed inside a dream world, their ghosts forever wandering the halls and rooms, pulling in others to join them who had also suffered loss. For Kyouka and Reika, they were alive, but cursed. During the day, they are normal Star Borns. During the night, they become ghosts. Kyouka isn't as fatal as Reika during this time, but still just as scary.
Kyouka and Reika did not go far despite everything that had happened and would continue to happen. Kept close by familiar surroundings, the two remained in the now abandoned area of the Kuze shrine, only venturing outside when the loneliness they bore became too much. It is unclear why they didn't simply leave. Perhaps they didn't want to endanger those around them with their curse. More likely it was the fact the wide world frightened Kyouka, who barely seen past the walls of her home and Reika not wanting to lose the only companion she had left. Whatever the reason they were never alone for long.
Without the Head to keep order, stallions seemed drawn to the place, like they were aware the boundaries that had existed on it for so long were now lifted. Kyouka met with three, one within the dream version of the abandoned Manor, where the dead roamed.

Personality Nyomi is not the most gentle of mares. It's a good thing she has no siblings around her or she'd use them as scapegoats for everything. And not just to take the blame for something. They would be her guinea pigs to check a dangerous place, first. They would be her meat shield when she gets into trouble. Gentle is far from a word one would use to describe her. If she's anything, it's cruel. Being raised by a mare who turned into a ghost at night and her companion of the same curse has twisted Nyomi's mind. All she sees around her is pain and suffering. There is no happiness. Not even the companionship of the two mares. Each is trapped in their own sorrow. This gives Nyomi the view that this is normal. This is what the world needs. This is what everyone should experience. And in her deranged mind, she strives to pass this onto as many as she can.
It's not that Nyomi is insane exactly. She just thinks the world is a place of hatred. Killing something that is hurt is doing it a kindness so it doesn't have to suffer, even if it's something that would heal in a few weeks. A belief, but not one she herself follows. Every creature she finds injured, she leaves to die slowly. Sometimes she is the one who starts the process. She has suffered every day of her life since she was born. It's not fair she gets to watch others enjoy their life. The joys of pain must be spread to everyone.
It can also be debated whether Nyomi is loyal and protective towards her mother. She believes, with her mother's state, that every stallion who touches her is or has taken advantage of her. This angers her to the point of following him around and making him her target for cruelty. Up until the point that something more important takes her attention. Usually in the form of someone messing with her. She does care for her mother, but she is more selfish about her own problems in the waking world. Not a strong one on her own, she uses the aid of her mother and the Manor to get back at others. Allowing the ghosts of the Manor to spill out to further torment the offender.
Background Nyomi was second born to Kyouka and Plamen, as well as the only girl. Her parents were just a one time thing, a passing fling. When he left, he took her two brothers with him, who had already been abandoned by Kyouka. It is unclear to Nyomi where they are or what they're doing. She has never known her father or brothers. Just the Kuze clan.
As a young foal, Nyomi was filled with fear. It was difficult to grow up a normal Star when both your mother and her companion changed into hostile ghosts at night and attacked you. She had no siblings to play with. No herd members. The closest to children she ever encountered were the ghosts of the handmaidens in the Manor of Sleep. There were four. Three were hostile, while the fourth was a helper. A victim like Nyomi. As well as her older half-sister. Amane didn't seem aware of this fact, however. Her memories were trapped in the last day she was alive, where the only sibling she had was a brother she had smuggled down into the Chamber of Thorns. She would show up in random places of the Manor, usually aiding Nyomi in finding some imbalance. All for the good of keeping the miasma from spreading. With the miasma the ties of control over the ghosts and the place would be severed, allowing the evil concealed within it to spread into the waking world. Where it would quickly engulf everything in its path.
As she grew, Nyomi slowly began to adjust to this lifestyle of hers. So she was thrust into the Manor every other night? She was the Kuze heir. It was her duty to go into the Manor, no matter how frightening it was. So once shr reached adulthood, she had come completely to terms with her occupation. The Manor was her responsibility. There was no one else. It was what she was born to do.
But life was not to be that easy for her.
Sometime after she had been fully grown, Nyomi came across a stallion. If she had known at the time what he was, she might have been more careful with her temper. Instead, she angered him and he bit her, passing on the curse of the werewolf to her. Where once her life had order, now it was in chaos while she battled with the wolf side of her she had not had the privilege of growing up with.

Since Nyomi is such a...Difficult character to deal with, I figure only a wolf would be able to get close enough to her to get her to leave before Miyako approaches with a battle in mind to usurp her sister. Nyomi was not born a wolf. I won that pelt in a game. She's had to deal with this all by herself, and it's made her a little extra abrasive and aggressive.

Personality It is not every day that Adil cracks a smile. Less so when he laughs. He comes off as cold as his eyes, as distant as the moon. If asked if this bothers him he would say no. If a family member he likes happened to ask he might be convinced to give a larger reply. That is because Adil is more a closed book than an open one. He picks his friendships like his battles: Carefully. He prefers a close knit group over a large gathering of friends he's unsure would have his back. Once in that group, however, you would find yourself with a very steady and loyal friend. A strict feeling of always doing what he thinks is right fuels his behavior. Some may call it stubborn. Background Sadi's past is unclear. Mainly because I haven't figured it out, yet. She was adopted by the Greeks after the death of their own daughter. Sadi doesn't appear to remember her real parents, nor wish to find any memories of them. She loves who she considers her real parents too much to seek out any others.
To honor the memory of the sister she never knew, Sadi agreed to be a special Priestess so no one will ever forget the mare who gave her life to protect her family. Sadi holds a ritual every year on her death, posing as the sacrifice while someone else poses as the monster who ate her, a play written by Cephei himself. Outside this ritual, she is considered The Andromeda and wears lightweight chains on her feet at all times. She is the head Priestess in the temple who devotes their lives to worship of the constellation Andromeda. As The Andromeda, she is considered holy, staying a virgin to keep her innocence intact.

Personality On first sight, one would think Prisca to be a delicate flower. She always carries herself with dignity and has a phobia to unclean things. No matter how large the mud puddle is, she'll go around it. Even if it makes her late to meet someone or to see something. If she can help it, she'd never get dirty. It goes without saying that she doesn't travel very much.
But beneath all the delicate sidestepping and whining about dirt on her coat lies a fierce lion. There is little that will truly scare her off where her intelligence will allow her to stand her ground. Against something trying to eat her, of course she'll turn and run if there are too many. If she thinks she could stand a chance to fight back, she will. Prisca takes pride in the fact she is a pretty lady who can stand up for herself when the opportunity requires it even if she's not the strongest Star around.
Not the most friendly of sorts, Prisca puts on a mask when she's made to deal with others. If she doesn't have to, such as someone stumbling too close to her little territory, they get quite a different side. Snide remarks and coldness are her ways of dealing with such situations. She will not try to hurt anyone, whether physically or emotionally. She just tries to make it known as much as possible she would rather be alone. There are very few whose company she enjoys.
Background Prisca was someone important. (Not of a royal family or from one who was a leader of sorts, but her family either had a special duty only they could do or she was to guard something, I haven't decided, yet.) Her brother, Brutus, also had this skill (if it's to be a skill). Early in Prisca's adulthood, he was corrupted by an evil mare trying to destroy the family. She succeeded in using Brutus to destroy all Barones but his sister. To do away with her, he convinced her to hire a bodyguard in these troubling times to protect herself. The guard, however, was one chosen of his doing in the hopes Prisca would irritate him enough he'd do away with her so Brutus wouldn't be charged with any crimes. He did pick the guard, but how others turned out wasn't his fault.
Xero was the one picked, chosen for his temper. But Brutus never did his research as he should have and never took into account Xero being loyal and less likely to cause harm to Prisca than Brutus was of getting his own hooves dirty. He counted on less of the two turning out to be a perfect romantic match despite their obviously contradicting appearances and behavior.

-----Xero is no longer active, so no breedings for her. Instead, I plan on adding a child or two, maybe letting others do the same. Just to continue her story with the idea that Xero's simply lost. They had children before they fell.
