It wouldn’t be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be pink, blue, and even purple in color. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it.
Lori had been excited about the meteor shower since she heard about in on the news. She knew the Star Festival was coming up and would last a few days, ending with a beautiful Gala. The rich girl in her was very excited for the Gala. She grew up going to posh events. Even with this one open to the public, she was still stoked. Any chance to get all dolled up and be around other dolled up people was nice. And this time she really hoped to have a very special lady on her arm.
First things first though, there was going to be a meteor shower tonight. She had bought the plushest, softest blanket she could find and had told Daphne to meet her by the fountain in the park. From there they could find a nice place to watch the shoot stars streak across the sky. One might think that shooting stars lost some of their mystery when you were a Senshi, but they were still something beautiful to see with your lover. And well, she was definitely all in on the relationship this. This was something couples did and by gods she was going to do it.
