The Main Hall and Stair-Case  The main entrance hall with it's twin stair case and large lighted glass dome are the most stunning features to be found in the manor. It was designed as a large room that could host all sorts of celebrations and it is to be used in the coming event as the main room for the festivities to take place in.
A more subtle but rather imposing feature is the large grandfather clock that stands to divide the twin stair cases that lead to the second floor. Also along the walls of the main hall are portraits of the key members of the household.
On a side note, off to the side of the entrance hall is a small powder room for the use of visitors.

Soviet casually walked into the great hall and smiled. The room was lined with life-sized portraits of each of the guild's Crew and Captains, his of course standing out as the most brilliantly handsome.
He smiled as he walked over to it and looked it over, mentioning several imperfections that his actual self did not have.
"Who says Narcisis had to prefer the reflection to his actual self?" Soviet laughed and then continued pacing around the large green marble circle in the floor. Each portrait was done with impeccable detail, he had to give that, but when he came to Ru'ni's portrait, he stopped.
"b*****d." He muttered, spitting on the canvas. "You let your own guild fester and now you come for ours?"
He continued pacing until he heard foot steps from behind.

Ru'ni knealt by the now bloodied form of Sovi. In a quick examination he found, without touching his body, that what had killed him was a quick blow to the head.. Not but a few feet away was the busted frame and rippped painting of Ru'ni himself.
"Crow!" He shouted up the staircase hoping that she would hurry to get there.

Crow descended the staircase as quickly as the dress she wore would allow, her expression grim as she joined Ru'ni beside the corpse.
"I won't allow this to go unpunished." she swore.

With a sigh, Ru'ni stood up. A now angry look on his face.
"No.. it wont," his voice belied his emotions as it was calm and placid.. like that of the killer.

Theodore Archer entered the hall, as they were just discovering the body. He closed the huge doors behind him, and shook off the rain and his jacket. He hung his jacket, and turned. His red scarf stayed on as did his carnival mask, for he did not like showing his face, but he still had a shocked expression as he saw the two leaning over the body. He inhaled slightly, and stepped forward. "What is this?" is all he could utter, the blood surprising him more than anything

Myrkari walked out of the powder room and yelped at the sight of Sovi.
"Holy s**t, is he dead?!" He rushed over and looked over the body in shock.

Crow shook her head in dismay, "We should have acted sooner." she said sorrowfully ignoring the entrance of two more of the household. "Perhaps this would not have happened if we had done something."
She was silent then for a time before speaking again.
"And we will act." Crow whispered ,then stood, "I offer a reward to anyone what can give me the killer's name! I want them found and I want them to suffer for this unspeakable crime!."

"Nope," Soviet said, picking himself off of the floor and brushing his shirt off. When he stopped, he looked about and saw the faces of everyone gathered around.
"Oh, did that scare you? APRIL FOOLS!!!"
His smile was almost painfully idiotic.

Ru'ni spun on his heels and placed a kick in the gut of Sovi.
"Thats beyond not being funny you twit." Anger spread across his face as he spoke.

"My God Soviet, that is not funny even to my tastes, and I am easy to amuse." He sighed, and his hands were shaking slightly. He clenched his fists, and sat in a parlor chair only a few steps away.

Soviet coughed several times from being kicked, but continued laughing.
"Hey, if your that upset about your potrait, Ru'ni, I will get you a new one."

With a great show of will power, Ru'ni refrained from shoving his clenched fist down Sovi's throat.
"I don't care about the damned portrait, what were you thinking pulling something like that off?"
