Quote: The City has been lit up for the Star Festival with banners and twinkling decorations strewn off the windowsills of shop fronts and windows. The gardeners at one particular park have put their heart and soul into creating a fairy's paradise: Fairy lights have been carefully dangled from trees to make strings of stars, little beaded jewels have been hidden among the hedges, and even the old cobwebs have been sprayed with just a touch of glitter. The park is open to everyone and the citizens of Destiny City have been invited to respectfully explore the hidden wonders that have been placed throughout. The park is magical enough on its own but there have also been reports of a strange, ethereal and shimmering stranger in the park. The glimmer of a beautiful costumed figure fluttering through the park has been passed around as rumor, and no matter what anyone claims to see, no one can take a picture of it. As if simply seeing some magical figure isn’t mysterious enough, there are also reports of mischief and small pranks being played at the same time this figure seems to appear. Rumors of a shimmering stranger in the park sent Fomalhaut to investigate. Could it be a new powered friend? A weird youma? Some kind of group hallucination? There was only one way to find out. So, there she was, prowling around the park, checking under the benches and in bushes. "Hello? Are you there?" she said softly, trying to coax the mystery figure out. It was at that moment that she felt a familiar ominous prickling on the edge of her senses. There was a Lieutenant in the area. She froze in place, afraid to even breathe too loud. Granted, she hadn't had too many close calls, but she didn't want to learn what a close call was the hard way. Lithiasaur Forgot the prompt, sorry for double quote!

Ekanite doubted his General would mind too much if he went out on his own to investigate the reports of a strange figure in the park. He was not going to use his powers for anything bad... or... good? Or whatever one would get him in trouble: he just wanted to see if these new abilities helped in one of his favorite past times. And what better chance than a possible real life fairy or some other kind of mythical being floating around the park? He had always been interested in the paranormal and the strange, and this just fell right on into those parameters. The fact that he, now, also fell into them was just a beautiful bonus and proved this kind of stuff had some merit after all. Chances were it was just a senshi or two on patrol, and people were letting the festivities get to them... but what if it WASN't? He heard a soft voice and felt the pulse of an order aura nearby, and turned to see someone else looking around the park. Had they lost someone? Or were they looking for this figure? Not even thinking about how it might seem, having a negaverse soldier charging toward them, Ekanite leaped over in her direction eagerly.

Fomalhaut felt Ekanite's approach, and she heard him coming towards her. Squealing in mild alarm, she stuck her leg out, hoping to trip this guy up when he got too close. Something seemed familiar about this approaching agent, though, and soon, it clicked. "Band Kid?!" she blurted out, even though it had been established that this fellow was terrible at band kid stuff. He didn't even know how to play the drums. Well, gee, what was he doing here? Was he going to be a recurring thorn in her side?

Ekanite just turned the corner around a large tree before he found himself tumbling face first and greeting the ground in a much more personal way than he ever would have considered before. He grunted, getting his hands under him and pushing himself up to crane his head around and spot the source of his unplanned trip. His eyes widened, then he let out a long groan. "Aw man! I thought it was going to be a fairy or something, not YOU," he sighed, rolling unhappily to sit on his butt. He took a moment to dust himself off before getting to his feet and finally shaking his pants off. Still, it was hard to be mad when he was just so excited, still hopeful that there was something strange and magical afoot. "Are you here because of the rumors too? You can't be interested in that kind of stuff," he grunted, imagining she would probably tease him to find out he was, rather than be interested in finding a magical creature with him. They were technically magical creatures themselves, after all, and that tended to dampen the fun for most. Not Ekanite, though. It just convinced him there were even stranger and more exciting things out there.

"I could say the same thing," Fomalhaut huffed in response. However, when he asked her a question instead of moving to use those silly drumsticks on her again, she felt a bit less miffed. "Actually, yes, I am, and yes, I am interested in finding whatever the shiny person in the park is. I hope I can find it before you. God only knows what your people would do with such a person." Could mysterious shiny people even be corrupted? Fomalhaut had a feeling the answer was yes, as long as the shiny person wasn't actually a transcendent senshi of some sort.

"Really? Well, I mean. I wasn't going to do anything with it. Whatever it is, if it's a person or maybe a fairy or something ELSE, it should be free. But we could look at it, and maybe take a picture?" But hopefully a blurry one that would leave people guessing for years to come. That was the nature of these things, as he knew them, and what sparked people like him to come out to strange places at strange hours to look for things that possibly did not exist. The better and weirder the story, the more alluring it was. "You wanna team up and look for it? Or are you still mad at me?" He assumed that to be the case, considering the greeting and gruff attitude. She was not wrong in that, either, as they were not exactly friends and definitely not on the same side of the war thing. Surely a shiny person in the park was outside the realm of their quotas and patrols? He had no idea what transcendent even meant, so that idea never occurred to him.
