Prompt - Deep in the Fairy Wonderland, a beautiful fountain has been decorated to match the theme. This fountain has been here for years, but there’s something different about it beyond just the little stars and lights that have been set up around it. The fountain is filled with coins from wishes, though there seem to be a few strange, foreign coins. Underneath one of the lower parts of the fountain, hidden in an ornately carved swirl, is a small golden bell with long golden chain dangling from it. If rung, a beautiful, tinkling sound echoes around the fountain as if many little bells are ringing. There is a faint hint of laughter hidden in the chiming bells. Amidst the tinkling bells and laughter, a little voice that sounds far away seems to ask for a wish. Whether or not one is requested, after a moment the song of the bells begins to fade. If the bell is rung again, nothing strange happens and it functions simply as a normal bell however, for the rest of the night, you hear the sound of giggling and tinkling bells following behind you.

Dria was dressed in her best summer attire. Which was not a two-piece. Whether she'd looked great in one was not the issue - she didn't believe in them. Anyways, she was dressed in a white spaghetti strap tank top and blue jeans. Her hair had grown long lately, really long. Almost like her brother's had been before he shaved. The family had been proud of that hair and wasn't too happy that he had done it without talking to them first. Just as Dad was disappointed that he wasn't going to be a businessman like himself, and Mom was that he wasn't going to be an engineer like herself. In fact, Gramma was probably turning over in her that Drew wasn't going to be a doctor. But she and Aunt Claudia were proud of him for chosing his own path. Besides, she was going to be the engineer to follow in Mom's footsteps ... although she didn't know what kind. And, (she kept this close to her heart, for Aunt Dia didn't want anyone to know quite yet), Aunt Dia wanted to be the Doctor.. Now they just needed the Businessman (or woman) - Dani? or one of the Twins that were to be born in November - that had come as a shock - enough of family thoughts (she wrinkled her forehead in discontent after being lost in thought)- this was a celebration!

She pulled of her sunglasses as the day was turning to night. The streetlights were switching on. She wondered over to a beautiful fountain almost glowing in the night. It was definitely a wishing fountain. She pulled out her change purse.

He was back again, not because he wanted to make another wish, but because he was at the very least trying to get to the bottom of what he'd experienced. He'd cast his powered form aside for now, given he was on duty this evening for his actual job, it would be inappropriate to power up unless he absolutely have to... That, and it was a touch too early to reveal himself just yet anyway!

Thus, it had been with a half smile towards his partner that they had both agreed to take separate paths around the park. There had been very little to worry about lately, the festival had brought out the best in everyone and to say their job had been easy was an understatement. It seemed to be the right choice for them to split up so that they could more efficiently check the park, after they'd done that, they could move on to the next one.

Conveniently (and deliberately), he had selected the route that would take him passed the fountain. Having visited it before he was aware of the strange things that happened when the bell was rung but he'd yet to hear anything bad happening after touching it.

...Ok so he might have heard laughter the entire night afterwards but that was hardly painful or risky.

he drew nearer the fountain and sure enough, with the evening only just closing in there were still people mingling around it, coming and going as they often did. Some had no doubt made wishes, others had simply admired the view, but as he moved into between the little hedgerows to see it for himself he was surprised to find that there weren't actually that many people beside it.

Actually, there was only one.

"Make sure you make the right wish," he said with a small smile. "Rumour has it the fairies around here are picky," he advised. Not that he actually knew what the laughter was, but given he hadn't made any wishes, he was beginning to wonder if perhaps they'd taken offence!
