The Green-House

The Green House is a glassed in extension of the manor. Though in the last few years it had grown dark and frightening from being left unattended. Now not many even dare enter the foreboding place simply because of it's rather stereotypical horror film like atmosphere.

Fallen had wandered, all but forgetting her encouter with Archer, around the mansion for to many hours when she finally ended up in the Greenhouse. She had been one of the few people to visit this section of the mansion because she was of the few that could stand its architectural attitude. At the moment it seemed to fit her disposition all the more.
As she entered the building via a creaky door she smiled at the dusty scent of the unused building.
"Astal should take better care of this place.'' Her words were pointless because she preferred this building to the green house in the Enigma's Mansion. Out of the crew and staff at her home she had always been the one with the green-thumb, hence her spending most of her time in the Greenhouse.
Her fingers traced the green windows, slowly making her way around the small chamber avoiding the staircase as she went. When she finished her cycle she sullenly walked to the center of the room and knealt by the dry ground that had long since halted its nourishment of the dying tree that now stood there. A strand of hair fell across her face as she grabbed a handfull of the parched soil and tossed it over her left shoulder, just like Ru'ni had taught her to do. He had always said:
"Salts to bitter to ward off demons.. you need something, neutral, basic, and good for all things to block those that wish to do you harm." He had always joked that the day he forgot to do the ritual would be the day he died and so it had proven true.
With a small sigh she turned so that her body ran along side the soil and fell back, letting her shoulders make a thump on the tiled floor.
In a few moment she had fallen into a slight doze.

Crow quickly crossed the distance between the lounge and the dark foreboding chamber known as the green house. Though the glass enclosed room itself was rather gothic in style and horrific in nature, with it's unkempt plant life and corner clinging shadows.
Crow hoped that only a matter of seconds would have to be spent in checking in on that foreboding chamber, but in the green light of the room she spotted Fallen's sleeping form.
"A murderer is loose in the manor! And you decide to take a nap in the green house...of all places!." Snapped Crow. She for one could not afford another of the Enigma's members to be killed because of her own idleness in not keeping a sharp eye on them.

"Oh come now Crow! Leave the poor girl alone. I think she looks rather peacful. It's almost as if shes........dead." Came Lestat's voice from above, as he walked across the ceiling. He stopped and then just fell, twisting his body in mid-air so that his feet were now facing the floor. He floated down, as softly as a feather and landed gracefully next to Crow, and this other he did not know. "But worry not, she's quite alive. I've been here since she arrived. I'm suprised really, not many dare enter here yet she did." Lestat said then bowed before Crow.

"We have a murderer waltzing around the manor and doing as he or she pleases...and in thinking in stereotypical terms this room seems quite the place to commit a murder. It seems that the killer is after the members of the Order of Enigma, I won't allow Fallen to become a victim like Ru'ni. Besides everyone needs to remain in groups of three or more, just to ensure some form of safety for everyone." Crow stated flattly to Lestat.

"But why were you here? I suppose this chamber holds it's own allure but most everyone is staying within sight of each other...simply to stay safe."

"Me? I'm here simply because, it's the most peaceful place on the grounds." Lestat said as he checked the plants for bugs and dead leaves. "Though if you wished I could be less elusive. But really? A murder? Here at the mansion? Tsk tsk poor fellow. Maybe I shall investigate this then. Sayonara Crow." Lestat said shaking his head, then vanishing into a cloud of bats and flew out the Green-house.

Crow only arched an eyebrow, "Bloody lurker, can never sit still." she muttered before turning her attention back to Fallen.
"Wake up." she said sharply, knowing all to well that they could easily be attacked in such a foreboding section of the manor. Of course Crow was lightly armed in her own fashion, as she always was. Stiletto knives and blades of any sort were her light weaponry of choice, for it was rather easy to hide such weapons on one's body without anyone noticing.
"Fallen, " she repeated, "Come on and wake up, this is not the best of places to be right now."

Fallen woke to the urgent resounding of her name. Normally she would have woken at the slightest of sounds but something about the atmosphere of the greenhouse had lulled her into a deeper sleep then usual.
"Crow...?" Her words were slurred as she slowly looked around for the leader.
"I'm sorry.." she said getting up from her position on the floor," I don't know what got into me. What have I missed?"
The appearance of another person in such a suprising manner bothered the caretaker. She had the ability to snap a persons neck with her bare hands but being as vulnerable as she had been asleep annoyed her.

Crow looked at Fallen with a stoic expression, "Nothing much has transpired since what happened earlier." she said gravely, "Though you just missed the appearance of the guild lurker." she added with a laugh.

"Well thats interesting," she said readjusting her clothing and then continued," shall we?" Fallen finished her statement by slowly walking to the door, not waiting for the Captain to answer or follow.

As Crow departed she carefully closed the iron wrought door behind her, "So tell me...who do you think was the one that killed him. I'm sure you have an opinion on this." Crow then stopped in her words in realizing how objective her tone must seem.
"I know that this is a grim subject to be talking about...especially now, but I would like to know your opinion on the matter." she said as she finished locking the door to the green house from within the hall with a rusted iron key.
The room itself could be accessed from within the manor, but it would be locked to any within it or outside of it unless they had the key of course.

As she walked down the adjoining corridor she carefully thought Crow's question. When her answer finally came it was soft and slow.
"I really have no idea.. I had my thoughts.. but now I can't put two and two together. Its been so long since I've been in a state like this, no wonder I fell asleep in there." She finished with a reverent look towards the Green-house.

((Coming from the Library))
Bristi hadn't expected anybody in the hallway, and therefore nearly ran into Fallen.
"I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention." Not to mention it wasn't exactly "brightly lit" in the hallway. "Oh, Fallen! How..how are you doing?" Bristi's voice changed from happiness at seeing another from the OoE, to pain at the remembrance.
The girl didn't look as though she were much better off than Bristi, but Fallen had been even closer to Ru'ni than Bristi. She, Bunny, and Ru'ni practically seemed to share a brain sometimes. Which reminded her, where was Bunny anyway? The last Bristi'd seen of her was down in the Main Hall when Sovi "resurrected".
Busy with her thoughts of Fallen, Bristi didn't even realize that Crow was right behind the girl.

Lestat stayed behind Bristi, as she "ran" into Fallen and Crow. Leaning against the wall and humming a tune to himself. Wondering how Bristi did not see the other girl. But then remembered, her mortal eyes were probably not as finely tuned to the darkness as his were.

Crow crossed her arms leisurely as Bristi nearly ran into Fallen, "Watch you step Bristi." Crow stated flatly as she leaned her should against the opposing wall, arching her eyebrow critically at Lestat's second appearance. One could never tell when he would show himself next.

But still cutting to the chase she spoke again, "Why the rush Bristi?"
