-- Clone Technique [E Rank]
This is a basic technique that every shinobi can use. In fact, Konohagakure's Ninja Academy prevents students from graduating unless they master this technique, for which reason Naruto Uzumaki failed three years in a row. For this technique, users create one or more afterimages of themselves to move alongside them. Unlike most other clone techniques, these afterimages have no substance and thus are incapable of damaging opponents. Because of this, it is only useful for confusing enemies while other attacks are prepared. Opponents can identify clones from their original through careful observation, as clones won't cast shadows, crush grass, kick up dust, etc. (This does not count towards your jutsu number limit).

This technique is most often used to disguise the user as another person, but they can also turn into an animal, plant, or inanimate object. The instant before they are to be struck by an attack, the user replaces themselves with a block of wood or something similar. Rank: B Description: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. The technique is basically the user performing a jump kick into their opponent's face. The user throws a weapon, such as a kunai, at the enemy to distract them while s/he takes advantage of their blind spot in order to land the blow.

The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.

This technique is a series of kicking attacks, starting from a low kick and linking into a middle kick and high kick then finishing off with a heel drop. As the rotation speed picks up the user gains buoyancy, which they use to shift into gradually higher attacks.

This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.

A technique where a shinobi follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus.

The user kicks their opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Once behind their opponent, the user restrains them and pile-drives them into the ground head first while rotating at a ferocious speed.

This technique is an advanced and more destructive version of the Front Lotus. Once enough gates are opened, the user kicks the target into the air and continues to strike them at inhuman speeds before hitting them with a final, powerful open-handed strike and kick at the same time, sending the target crashing into the ground which is usually fatal due to the speed and power behind the attack. This technique can only be used once.

-- Shōgekishō [Upwards Attacking Palm] [Rank D]
The user strikes the opponent with an upward arm thrust that knocks them back 25 feet and leaves them winded for a bit of time. Thus potentially leaving them open for another strike.
-- Tetsu no tenohira [Iron Palm] [Rank D]
This is a basic defense technique and one of the first techniques users learn of this style. The user balances their chakra and focus onto a single palm. Which they use to either block or stop basic weapons (i.e. shuriken, senbon, & Kunai) or basic/ low ranking taijutsu. However, using this technique does not allow for an instant attack from the user since s/he must refocus all of the body.

This is a quick 3 strike attack where the user first attacks the opponent with an opened palm towards the stomach. This starts to knock back the opponent a few feet, but the user moves forward and strikes at the opponents chest followed by a quick opened palm strike to the chin that sends the opponent flying backwards.

Similar to the Hyuga's Gentle Fist, the user will charge before sliding into them with an opened palm pressed against the limbs while using the force of the slide to injury the opponent and set up for the next attack or defense. Once the palm has connected it feels as if the user has forced a wave of chakra through them. Thus causing mild to severe pain based on the attack location. Ex. If an arm is hit it will unusable for one turn.
-- Fūsa suto [Blockade strike] [Rank B]
This technique brings in a balance of both attack and defense that allows the user to attack and block two opponents or take on one opponent (Must be going hand to hand). When ready, the user will assume a defensive stance as the opponent(s) draw in. The user will then extend their elbows out towards either of them. From there, the user will rotate their arms until they are able to drive their palms against the opponent(s) thus knocking them back 20 feet away; leaving you open to start planning your next move.

-- Chained Prison [Rank D]
The user throws the weighted end of their kusarigama at the opponent allowing it to wrap around their body. A quick pull slams the opponent into the ground.
-- Hagama no Mai: Gōriki no Yaiba [Dance of the Sickle Blade: Strong Blade] [Rank D]
The user takes their kusarigama and preforms at least two slashes at the opponent, the last slash conceals the weighted opposite end of the weapon before being tosses straight forward at the opponents body, knocking the opponent back.
-- Ball and Chain [Rank D]
The user begins to twirl the weighted end of the weapon in their hand, using the blunt end only the user begins to attack the opponent. Slamming the weight along the opponents body, sometimes this could cause bones to break.
-- Sickle Boomerang [Rank C]
The user takes the kusarigama within their hands and quickly sends the sickle forward, it rotates within the air and flys forward cutting what it comes into contact. At the end of the chain the sickle stops and is quickly pulled back, allowing the user to catch it within the same hand. Higher levels of this technique are able to allow the sickle to curve in mid throw and even bring back objects, or pull the opponent to them.
-- Hagama no Mai: Shōyō no Yaiba [Dance of the Sickle Blade: Rising Lift Blade] [Rank C]
The user slashes horizontally at the opponent twice and then quickly the bladed sickle is throw upwards at an angle just above the opponent as if they had missed with a sickle boomerang. But this technique involves pulling the kusarigama downward to attack the opponents back and drag them down to the ground in a more vulnerable position.
-- Boomerang Arcing [Rank B]
The user is now able to use the sickle boomerang as an extension of their body. Throwing the sickle end of the weapon allows for the bladed end to curve slightly, allowing for a small chasing weapon. Again the user is able to catch the weapon in the same hand used to throw it in. Due to the training the user can now catch large objects with the bladed end and pull them to them, such as an opponent. Also larger projectiles are now able to be blocked.
-- Hagama no Mai: Rakukō no Yaiba [Dance of the Sickle Blade: Falling Descent Blade] [Rank B]
The user begins spinning the sickle end of their weapon twirling it to the right and then the left and back and forth as they move towards the opponent. This gives the user a small 'ball' of protection as they advance closer to the opponent. Then the user quickly slams the sickle end downward before pulling back on the sickle twirling it once more and slamming it down a second time. To finish up the dance the user after the second slam pulls back and then sends the blunt end of the weight to the face of the opponent.
-- Death Trip [Rank A]
The user twirls the blunt end of the kusarigama around and around before swinging it over their head and launching it forward. The end shoots doward in an attempt to wrap around the opponents legs or feet. Pulling quickly the opponent is tripped up and falls backwards. Right afterwards the user swings the sickle end over top of their head before slamming it down towards to opponent.
-- Ball and Chain [Rank A]
Using this attack much like the Death Trip attack the difference is that the sickle head of the weapon is used to trip the opponent or catch them with the blade rather than the chain. The user then takes the weighted end of the Kusarigama and can either slam it along the opponents chest or head.
After the user forms a few hand seals they concentrate and convert a small amount of chakra in their eyes into water. The small amount of water causes their eyes to tear and rid themselves of any irritating substances like sand or powder.
a mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist colored by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
After blowing dozens of bubbles, the user manipulates them to surround the enemy in all directions. Only the slightest amount of physical contact with an opponent is required to make these bubbles burst, resulting in a small but powerful explosion when they do. The user can then make the entirety detonate simultaneously with a snap of their fingers.
-- Chakra Ame no Jutsu [Chakra Detecting Rain] [Rank A]
The user creates a downpour of rain over a wide area. The user's chakra is still connected to the rain and can detect all disturbances in it. This can be used to locate objects or persons being struck by the rain.
The user whispers a maximum of ten words and uses Fūton chakra to carry those words to someone. The slight breeze will head the target's way, and when it reaches them, will deliver the message in a voice only audible to the target.
-- Kaze no Yoroi [Armor of Wind] [Rank C]
The user utilizes his chakra and the wind around him to create a whirlwind around himself. The wind forms a circle around the user, five feet in radius, so ten feet in diameter. The wind picks up debris and acts as armor for the user. The wind armor lasts for five posts. Debris on the ground strengthens the armor and projectiles thrown towards the wind also become part of the armor. Taijutsu and Bukijutsu users is useless against the armor. A Genin who gets caught in the wind will become part of the armor, Chuunin will be knocked back five feet, and a Jounin will be knocked back two feet. An elemental jutsu is useless against the armor, but if one is used against the armor it weakens it greatly. Two posts after an elemental jutsu is used against the Kaze no Yoroi the armor is dispelled.
-- Hikui Tenkuu Assaku no Jutsu [Low Air Pressure Technique] [Rank C]
This technique makes the air pressure in a room drop dramatically, causing anyone inside to fall asleep. It can only work in an enclosed area like a building or room.
Expelling a great deal of chakra, the user forces a vast amount of wind out behind them. This blast of wind has two effects, first, anything behind the user will likely be knocked over by the blast, secondly it propels the user extremely quickly in their desired direction, and the user may use the wind to make continual adjustments to their trajectory during this short dash. The dash lasts for barely a second, but in that time the user can cover considerable distance, making this an excellent assassination jutsu as the name implies.

His father and mother both trained in sealing jutsu. With the amount of tailed beasts in the village, it was a job that would always needed to be filled. It was also something that his parents had tried to ensure their children knew how to use. In the face of a rogue beast, it was best they knew how to contain it. Kio had never been interested in the family tradition. Sure it was a useful trait, but as a young child it had been obvious that his skill with jutsu had been lacking compared to his older siblings. His mother focused on the techniques with the young boy for years, but it never took grasp and developed. Frustrated, his mother gave up trying and handed the 'defiant' child off to his father for training. The firm hand, only pushed the boy to be frustrated towards his family. His siblings would toy with him all the while his father would get in his face for not trying hard enough. It wasn't long until he started the academy... where he figured out what his part would be in the Shinobi battles to come.
Entering the Academy gave the young boy the freedom he desired from his family... well mostly. His older brother (12) and sister(10) were still in the Academy too. Thankfully though the ages didn't mingle much ouside of lunch or coming/going. So as he started to participate in class, he discovered his knack for hand to hand combat. It had become a focus for the young boy, spending countless hours trying to build up his strength and stamina. He had a handful of friends in his class, though as they got closer to graduating the academy to become genin, it had been pointed out. Kio had a very feminine physique. Not that he cared... and after a few scraps and being dragged off to the Jounin Tower, neither did anyone else.
Being assigned to a squad after the academy was where Kio started to shine, sure everything always started out slow. Learning, doing low level missions, community work mostly, and just discovering who you are. Kio had started to learn to use kusarigamas and bukijutsu in order to cover his openings when it came down to hand to hand combat against several people at once. When he was done working with is squad, he would go home and be drilled on fuuinjustu.... he wondered when his parents would ever give up. It wasn't going to work, he just didn't understand the complexities of the jutsu and the necessity of scrutinizing over every small detail in the seal. He had a basic understanding of what they were and how they were used. But he wasn't going to focus his life on something he couldn't find a passion in. Finally at the age of fifteen he confronted his parents. He told them he wasn't going to continue his lessons. The same lessons he had been taking since he was a young child. He was not skilled in sealing, he wanted to fight. To be the person protecting them, so that they could complete the seal uninterrupted. That night had been the first time Kio had ever had a physical interaction with his father. It was also the night that he had moved out, and took up residence in the shinobi housing. Sure it meant he had to work harder to pay rent and purchase food. It was better than having another confrontation with his family.
As time passed, his siblings would show up to try and get him to come home, at that point Kio had slammed the door in their faces. He wasn't going to go back so long as his parents continued to pressure him to be what they wanted him to be. He was more adept at hands on activity, recon, information gathering. Through the years with his squad he had been on missions where information on the war was needed at any cost. Thankfully, his squad had been very good with recon and disguise missions, maybe it was in part of their jounin sensei favoring it as well. Information was what turned a battle on its heel. The art of disguise and performance in a foreign land, to get the information straight from the horse's mouth. Kio and his squad were soon recognized for their information gathering to aid the battles taking place. It was around that time that their sensei threw their names in to participate in the chuunin exams.
It had been close to say the least, the written exam had been easy for the group. Gathering information discreetly, as well as sharing it with each other was second nature. The Survival aspect, had almost killed Inoya, the squad had been cornered by two other squads as well as some beast that inhabited the testing grounds. Thankfully, the beast had lost interest in the young genin after a decent beating, and with the other two squads on edge. It had allowed Kio and Riniku to escape in the chaos, but thanks to Inoya's idiocy (in Kio's opinion), she had stolen the items required from the other two squads. It was a free run straight to the finish line at that point. Before the other six genin could even notice they lost their items. Finally, the tournament was held. His squad mates had admitted they didn't believe they would pass to the next phase, they were all focused in information gathering, or ranged attacks, Kio was best at getting in and stopping the enemy from advancing. He didn't doubt that they would have trouble, but he wasn't going to allow either of the girls to give up on becoming a chunin. They had busted their asses up to this point, and if he had to he would kick both their butts for not believing in themselves.
The two girls, lost right away... Kio had felt bad, but he continued on to ensure that at least one of them became a chunin... it would make it that much easier for them in the long run then. He made it to the final battle in the end... and to his surprise, his mother had met him in the waiting room just before the match. She had tried to convince him to come home. That she was sorry for everything... that she still loved him... that she would teach him herself. Kio had snapped, to this day. She still wanted to try and force him to be a fuuinjutsu specialist. Why was she so headstrong on this, there was no reason honestly... but it wasn't Kio to raise a hand to his mother.... that was Inoya, he had seen the girl mad before... but now she was furious. Throwing Kio's mother out of the waiting room before she could say anything in response to her rant. His mother was met by his sensei and Riniku on the other side of the door, he learned that she had been escorted back into the stands to spectate the final match. Kio had lost his battle with the other genin, pushed to the limit trying to dodge all the ranged attacks. His opponent had a solid defense that he couldn't break through no matter how many times he had tried to out speed it. Kio had been frustrated at the end of the match that he had lost... but it wasn't that his opponent hadn't been phased by his attacks... it was just that the other had been better at hiding his fatigue and wearing down Kio faster. The other had passed out standing up, but before the medics could show up to ensure the other was alive. Kio had picked the teen up and carried him towards the medical wing, it was only proper... he had kicked his a** round the ring and to the moon...
The next week; Inoya, Riniku, and Kio were all awarded with the promotion to Chuunin. They may have all lost, but their actions during the overall test, as well as their track record with their missions had been the deciding factor for their promotion. It was about that time, that they had been assigned to a important recon mission. They were to travel to the Land of Wind with a handful of other ninja to gather information. There had been rumors of encampments of enemy soldiers hiding out along the borders, if the information were to be found correct. They would need to coordinate with the mission leader and follow through with their decision. When Kio started the mission with his squadmates, they were all sixteen...
At the age of eighteen, Kio was living with his squad in the Land of Air. They had been part of this recon mission for two years now. Their main priorities in the beginning were scouting and recon. During the day, they would go into the near by town and act as if they were neighborhood teens working on a farm just outside of town. Though the more time they spent there, the story developed and turned. They had definitively found the issue... there were several members in the village that were very much against the war, but there was also a growing number of people who voiced their distaste for the Land of Fire and Konoha... for their actions in the war. Kio had somehow managed to 'join' the rebellion against Konoha.... his girlfriend (for real, and imitation) Inoya had made it vocal in the village that she didn't like him being a vigilante with the others. It had been a great act, there had been many in the small village that hadn't trusted the teenagers in the beginning... and with their standing with the villagers. It allowed the group to send information back to the leader quickly and efficiently.
Though one of the meetings, had just about outed the young man. They were going to be mobilizing on Konoha by morning... It seemed that they were preparing for some transferal of a tailed beast to a new host. The group had thought if they could get a hold of the host, they could take the tailed beast and use it as a weapon for themselves. The beast in question... the Ninetails, it had been well known that the fox was a vicious tool, one that could level the land easily. The plan was to take it with force. That morning, Kio didn't have time to say goodbye to his squad, only giving Inoya a kiss and Riniku a hug before running off after the rest of the group, to ensure there was some chance to disturb their plan to take the Ninetails within the week.
How they learned of the location was beyond Kio, but they were held up in the forests of the Land of Fire. Waiting to strike on the small house that was isolated from the rest of the country. Kio was nervous, he hoped that his squadmates had understood why he couldn't just outright tell them anything, why he hadn't been able to sneak away before they mobilized. He prayed to what ever god that would listen, that they got the message and relayed it to their mission leader. Then... there was movement at the house... several groups of people arriving at the house, some stood outside to keep guard... several went into the house, the shutters closed tight to prevent anyone outside from looking in. Kio needed to act now... Though before he could find the leader among those hiding in the forest, all hell broke loose.
Their group hadn't been the only ones waiting for this transfer to happen... Several branches of the same faction, all from different lands had coordinated this attack to overwhelm the land of fire and their shinobi. Several had possibly been rouge ninja from the land of fire, it would have been the only way that they knew of this rundown house. Kio had taken down as many as he could, trying to make his way towards the house. The host, who ever it was needed to be removed immediately and taken to safety. Kio was the last to arrive to the house though, as he ran towards the house he was met with force barely dodging the attack of the ANBU. It was at that moment that Kio identified himself, pulling his headband from under his clothing, and showing a tattoo on his wrist that he had gotten with his squad mates just before the departure of their mission... to identify them in the off chance their had died on their mission... Kio had been taken into custody, he didn't fight it, he understood honestly. He had been away from the village for years, and he didn't even know if his squad mates or those who had also been on the mission were able to relay the information back to the vilalge in time.

Kio had spent a day or so in custody while the ANBU had attempted to track down the information they needed to confirm the identity of Kio. He had stated that he had family in the village, giving all their names. Not that he wanted to see them, but they could confirm who he was... Otherwise it would be difficult for them to get a hold of his squadmates or anyone on the mission in the Land of Air. Though, evening came and he was greeted by his former teacher. A face he hadn't seen in years, she had a somber look on her face as she stood in the room with Kio. Though, it wasn't long until the woman broke into tears hugging the young chuunin. He had no idea what was wrong, but he needed to mentally brace himself.... in the years that he had trained under her, she had never once cried.
The mission had been a success, but... when the girls had been trying to make their way back to the village to aid in preventing the attack, they had been intercepted by one of the other groups, and that the girls were missing. In the chaos at the transferal site... because of his family's profession.... they had been onsite to aid with the transferal.... Kio had stopped her from continuing on with the information, asking what happened to the village in the land of air... he needed information to distract his mind. If he didn't have something, he would only focus the confused look on Inoya's face as he kissed her goodbye hoping she would read the message to pass along... The look on his families faces that last time he had saw them... his sister when he closed the door in her face.. his brother when he pushed him out of his apartment... his mother as Inoya had thrown her out of the Chuunin exam finals.... his father when they fought in the house years ago. Kio had asked to spend another night in the holding cell. Unable to process everything that had been told to him, his world had crashed in the course of a week.
Coming back from that load of information took time... Thankfully.... he had been given an opportunity. For his work, and his actions, he had been approached by the Hokage at the time to join the ANBU Black Ops. His skill-set was unique, the choices he had made while on his mission in the Land of Air had helped save many lives. He learned that at the time of his departure, Inoya had made it to the mission leader. Delivering the message before taking off with Riniku to make it back as fast as possible to make sure the message had no chance of being lost. He was told that their last noted location had been near Sunagakure, where they had met up with a few other shinobi, relaying the information to them. At that point, the message had been sent via summons to the ANBU and Hokage, the girls continuing on towards the village. With a clear mind, Kio had accepted the offer to join the Black Ops, the drive to find his squad fueling him... there had to be a lead past Suna, and he would find it at any cost.
Now Nine years later... Working as an ANBU, his code name Ghost while behind the mask, has been tedious. He was often sent to near by villages to investigate rumors of unrest within the village. Similar to that of the Land of Air, though there weren't many to that grand of a scale thankfully. It was often times just a old farmer reminiscing times of peace or young adults drunk and annoyed with the state of the land. Most was peaceful in the land, but it annoyed Kio... Why was that incident nine-ten years ago different from now.... There had been rouge in the groups that had attacked that night... not just some rambunctious farmers looking to force change in the land... How was that different, what happened to that group... there had been many that escaped, they hadn't gotten the nine-tails, they must know that... they took the old man who had surrendered himself to protect the new host. So where was that group now... where was Riniku and Inoya... And where had his former Sensei disappeared to?
